Join us for a day of silent but exciting driving as our host Leonie von Hase takes the EQA from the city to the beautiful Rhine river banks - and back again. The author, entrepreneur and former Miss Germany grew up on a farm in Namibia, where she learned to drive offroad cars at a young age. The EQA will offer a whole new driving experience for her.
The electro-aesthetics of the design signal Progressive Luxury. Back-lit trim and roségold-coloured highlights make the new interior stand out while the new rear design with a stunning light band adds to its distinctive appearance.
The EQA is both efficient and exciting - with a powerful electric drivetrain and a high-voltage lithium-ion battery. It offers increased range thanks to improved drag - low wind resistance means high efficiency. And the navigation system with Electric Intelligence calculates the best route for Leonie’s road trip - considering the weather, topography, and available charging stations.

The Mercedes EQA has a simple but eye catching design!! The interior is gorgeous and the MBUX connectivity is just mind-blowing!! The LED bands at the front and the rear are just amazing!! Asked my wife if we should buy an electric car. 1 week later she had ordered a blue Eqa 300 4matic with rose gold interior. 6 months delivery time she cant wait and im exited to even though im going to be driving our 2013 Ds4 diesel. We went to the store and she found her star 😛

Thanks for the information, I just ordered my 250+ AMG Line Premium for June 2024. The only disappointing issue was Mercedes has dropped the Blue Denim colour in the UK which was my choice and removed the electric roof the the Premium; Now you need the Premium plus :(
(Also the adaptive cruise should be standard for 2024, most other cars at this price level have it and its really a safety item)

I remember riding a CLA. It had lighting, an amazing smell, and seriously premium build quality. Now the EQA is here. A Mercedes for the electric age! Luxury so good it seems impossible and makes me think, "are we inside a dream and everyone's dream is connected?" because thre Luxury is so amazing it feels impossible to do in real life. I would ask MBUX to play may favourite song and about the AMG rear is a really good ideea. But I have a probably stupid question but if the car is not on automatic and you take your eyes off of the road for some minutes and there is a car in fron of you dose the car stop automatically? As far as I saw I think it dose but I'm just curious
Yes, with the Active Brake Assist the car will detect if an object is suddenly in front of you. You will be given various alerts such as sound to catch your attention before this is needed, so you should notice that something is about to happen before the Active Brake Assist needs to step in.

I don't have range anxiety, I have anxiety for waiting for it to charge when driving long distance which makes me undecided between EVs and gas cars. Maybe come up with a system to quickly swap the batteries? The front looks plasticky but the back looks good. Also, looks like the Teslas have much better 0 to 60 times. I think I want a car with the interior and quality of a Mercedes and the speed of a Tesla. And don't forget to add self driving. Will that be upgradable via a software update?

Why cannot the EQA load with 22 kW AC? I hate it loading in the city without using the maximum possible speed of the loading station. A Mercedes should be able to use the maximum speed of AC loading in Germany especially for situations that DC loading is too far away.

All the stats (range, charging, battery etc) are worse than the Audi Q4 E Tron, Kia EV6, Hyundai Ioniq 6, Tesla model y, and Ford Mach E. Besides being a Mercedes, which is more marketing than anything, why would anyone buy this. What’s the argument?

why all electric cars have to have a flat grill like that?? Please design an attractive grille, even though it doesn't work anymore on electric cars, at least it's your brand ID. For example, BMW, in electric cars, the grille design serves both as an identity and beautifies the vehicle.

Futer is petrol car
I have test driven this car. It DOES NOT handle well at all with a lot of body roll, it is a Front Wheel drive firstly, and it has torque steer and is incredibly heavy for its size. It is ok for the casual driver or a female driver who generally do not engage in spirited driving. This car is overpriced for what it offers. The Audi Q4 E-tron is way better. Retrofitting a GLA with an electric drivetrain was never a good idea.
Just take the EQA 350 4matic ;-)

A Tesla model 3 could pass over it in ...reverse!!! And literally EVERY other car.
Plus the quality is inferior of the MB badge, as many reviews have shown.
