Third year is the best time in MBBS. You get ample of time to have fun, explore options, give USMLE step 1 and study for NEET PG.
Study according to the posting schedule- eg if medicine posting of 4 weeks- then try to cover 30-40% medicine in this time.
What to read during this time- Coaching notes + Textbook annotation. Videos if you don’t understand a topic.
You can use my pre made notes of surgery 👇

For ECG- I’ll highly recommend ‘the only EKG book you’ll ever need’ By Malcolm Thaler. Amazing book with summary of entire ECG at the end.
You find my notes from that book here 👇

Sir what is the maximum income of a private practice owner radiologist in india? Plz reply. Thanks a lot.
Maximum is a vague answer-Mahajan Imaging is one the largest Imaging center in delhi. They have earnings in hundreds of crores
Sir should we be part of organising fests, conducting research or working part- time job in 3rd year as we have time. Or should we start preparing in competitive mode only otherwise it will get late ? Also, which offline coaching should be joined as the teachers are not same in our city as in Delhi.
Yes be part of fests. You’ll learn a lot about people management and event management.
bhatia offline is better in my opinion.
@@RishabhJain2970 Thank you Sir for replying. Sir in our city, we also have CCIAMS which brings faculties of Marrow, PWMedEd, Prepladder, Doctutorial, etc. For different subjects. But majority students here go to DAMS. So considering that, should I join Bhatia ?
Sir sorry to say but I don't understand the concept of adding text book material in notes of coaching otherwise we will end up adding everything in it also sir as we follow textbooks r different from notes so even some datas don't match
As we follow different- different " Textbooks so they don't even match 😐
Yes same doubt
I find notes boring to read. They are very factual and condensed. I link facts with stories which textbooks provide.
MBBS is the time to broaden your knowledge. Notes are meant to prepare for an exam. MBBS is meant to enjoy medicine.
Don’t add everything you read in textbooks to your notes. For each subject see the PYQs asked in proff or get your book marked. Add only those topics in your notes.
Sir I will be going to 3rd year in a month or so and I have already ordered the latest first aid edition.... If I can read and annotate it with PYQ for 2nd year subjects + biochemistry in my 3rd year... Will it be good?
If you’ve ordered then no issues.
But in third year study Major subjects. They are bulky and will take time.
Ok sir
Sir is radio getting saturated in india ?
Ofc not
Please video on 2 year mbbs pg prep
Enjoy College life bro, you will regret later.
Focus on University exams and postings. You can start pg prep in pre final or final year
@@KSIDDHESH exactly I was going to reply 2 nd year is the only year where we medicos can enjoy fully
Prefinal se toh 😢😢😢😢
What about subject tests?
T-7 days se padhna start
Sir , according to NMC the current batch of 3rd year will be having NEXt at the end of 4th year i.e April 2026 . We have just 2 years for our exam . How do we plan that

Please make a video for fourth year students
Sir please make video for interns regarding pg prep ,who have recently joined. Please sir
Sir which time period is best for pg preparation
3rd year MBBS. As I said in the video
@@RishabhJain2970 sir in Target PMT I got inspiration from your story by Vivek sir
I follow you sincerely as a mentor 🙏🙏
Thank you 🙏
Very bad culture promotion Dr Rishabh,I’ve seen interns in reputed colleges who don’t even know how to insert NG/Foley.Forget about knowing basic medical skills expected from a Mbbs graduate😅 God forbid, what happens if one does not crack NeetPG,he won’t even survive as a general practitioner or won’t be able to save a simple emergency cases
What bad culture promotion? I asked them to attend clinics properly and read along with clinical posting.
Cry baby...and always complaint like a kid... Dr.Rishab sir eats 1000 kids like u in breakfast
