    This is the best way to review GT yet. I have almost seen 100 of videos to find the best way to review GT but couldn't find the one. I deviced one way for me, that uses bookmark and active recall for review but this one is better because it organizes things in the brain as well. This is the best way yet. This is the one. I like this.

      Add only the topics from questions you got WRONG. Among the correct ones, if there is a PYQ que (#recentneet) which you haven’t yet added, add that too.
      Basically the goal is to include PYQ topics and your weak points.

      Do lots of questions for Anatomy. For the very weak parts try to draw diagrams yourself. If it’s getting difficult to understand relations, can refer to Netter PDF. Also search for mnemonics, there are many out there

    Sir... when you said to add wrong Topics in notes...
    How should i make the notes? should i write down only the Q n A. or should i write down the whole explanation of the topic?

    • @doctor_nikhil
      @doctor_nikhil  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That depends.
      If it’s a topic you’ve read and you know, but got wrong because of the question framing style then write down QnA
      If it’s an unknown topic, or some conceptual application of a topic then write down whole explanation.
      Also add whole explanation if it is a question which has been asked from a broader topic (eg. if que is from FMT on one of the torture methods, better to write all torture methods since any can be asked)

      @doctor_nikhil  ปีที่แล้ว

      I also felt Marrow Medicine main content to be too vast, it’s quite difficult to concise from there. (Same for Surgery too)
      I’d suggest do it from Rapid Revision / Intern mode. Or if possible, do from DAMS (I had done from there, they have really good and doable content)
      Also supplement it with PYQs, see the PYQ topics and give more priority to those and related topics

    Brilliant presentation….can u tell about importance of t&d…is it compulsory to join one?

    • @doctor_nikhil
      @doctor_nikhil  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you!
      The basic concept behind T&D is testing your understanding of each subject. It is equivalent to SWT (Subject-Wise Test) of Marrow. After you finish reading each subject, you give T&D / SWT of that subject to see how well you’ve done it.
      So you basically need one such source for testing your subject knowledge. Not compulsorily T&D specifically, you can also opt for SWT. (My personal recommendation would be T&D)
      In case of T&D of DAMS for example, they also provide video solution for the T&D. In SWT you review the test and read explanations (like any Qbank/GT)

      Continue your read, and do custom modules of those subjects which you’ve read 3-4 months ago. That will keep you in touch with those subjects. Also try to identify the specific topics you’re getting wrong frequently and read those. Put up sticky notes of those on your wall. If there’s a topic which you find that you’re not understanding at all, read that one fully from main notes

      Do Patho, Micro, Pharmac very properly now itself. Read Robbins for Patho (at least the first section on General patho). Clear your concepts in these now itself. Do clinical questions from Qbanks. Or do Custom Modules of 1st and 2nd year subjects with only #Clinical selected.
      This way your clinical correlation of these subjects will start getting stronger from now itself, and you’ll have an easier time in 3rd and Final year.
      When you get to 3rd year, do ENT and Ophthalm properly that time, and also PSM. Also start doing final year subject classes from 3rd year itself, that way it’ll get easier in final year

      Do Qbanks during your first read. After reading a topic solve its Qbank, do as many as possible (no need to do all Qbanks, many modules are not useful)
      After your first reading is over, when you start revision, read a whole subject then give it’s SWT. OR another way you can do it is, give SWT BEFORE starting the subject. Make a note of what topics you got wrong and revise those first.
      I hope this helps 😄
