Just keep this in mind... Every thought you have. Every theories you have. Every doubts you have. Always keep those things at the back of your mind, ALWAYS. Because the show never disappoints in answering those questions. Though every answers given, it raises 10 questions. Ahahahaha And the show has this magic of rewatching. Everytime you try to rewatch it, it feels fresh especially when you discovered something later on and you try to rewatch certain episodes. If you do this (which i'm very sure you'll do) you'll have tons of eurika moments like the previous one you had. :)
Attack on Titan is one of those anime that definitely is worth a second watch, there's just tiny things, things that's almost impossible to pick up without knowing things later, that just gives you such a different perspective. Still there's lots of other things you can speculate on the way and get very satisfying "AHA" moments even if you were completely wrong. Unlike some other stories, there's nothing the author just retconned or tried to keep things in the dark until later for convenience of not having planned that far ahead, things are constantly going on at the beginning that's relevant way later! And that's an amazing author who really knows where their story and characters are going from the very start.
Tyragon It’s worth a second, third, fourth, fifth (and so on) rewatch. Attack on Titan is the only anime that keeps getting better and better while delivering new insights every time I watch it. It has the highest replay value of anything I’ve seen, ever. The depth of its story is handled with such execution that it somehow becomes light to watch, even if its intensely dark subject matter and plot density would make that an impossible task in any other case. It’s literally bursting with incredibly epic scenes that get so emotional that each character in the show at some point manages to look, sound and feel more human than actuals humans. My god I love this show.

Well, I personally think they do have the reason to turn against Eren. At this point, they didn't knew any clear thing about the titan (e.g. history, how it functions etc.). All they knew is that these titans torment them up until to their deaths so seeing a human suddenly coming out from these human-eating monster is surprising from them.
When Hange (the one with he glasses who got excited about seeing different types of Titans) said she wasn't going to hurt him she meant she'd make it quick xD

The survey squad are the best, they have the best Commander, the craziest Titan loving scientist, the best Titan killers plus a God Slayer Titan killer.

The power the dad was talking about is that titan power eren has. Also he turns into a titan when he has a cut/injury and something else which ull find out later. Also the titan he turned into at the end of this episode is an incomplete titan. It didnt create the skin and hair yet but it would have when completed.
Very little happens in this episode. It's amazing. Between the flashbacks and the reaction shots and the internal monologues, the whole episode only moves the timeline on about 5 minutes.
Prepare to be like "the basement is going to show this", then you'll find out that bit of information, rinse and repeat until the episode before the basement where you will literally not have a clue what could possibly be in there
