@@Mattriarc I tend to lean more towards the thrilling side of rides, so hollywood studios takes the crown for me. Rides like living with the land isn't my cup of tea. Of course, my ranking may change when magic kingdom opens the cars and villains rides.
@@metallicnole4514 I get that, I personally like going on Living with the Land on a chill day at Epcot when I'm eating around the world to beat the heat lol. Magic Kingdom is definitely on the come up, I personally would've put it 4th for rides 3 years ago, everything got pretty dated, but good to see things getting updated.
Animal Kingdom will forever be my favorite. It's usually very chill with good food. Quality over quantity. Can't stand how busy and hectic most of the other parks can be/get.
As someone who works at Epcot and has grown to love it during my time here, I am happy to see that it ranked first in this video. Granted I have yet to really explore the other parks, but with all the different food options, all the shops from different countries, and all the unique rides it has to offer, I feel like Epcot will forever hold a special place in my heart. ❤
How about live entertainment? Not just the stage shows, but parades, fireworks, and nighttime extravaganzas! Sometimes after running around getting on as many rides as possible, I like to sit down for a while and enjoy a show while resting my feet!
Comfort category. You can talk about ammenities like restrooms, mention the people mover again, hit hidden peaceful spots like gardens in Epcot, ease of access to hotels and parking, most relaxing lounges (looking at you, Nomad Lounge with your waterfront views and comfy couches; ignoring you, Oga's - love the theming and drinks but the standing room and time limit make it so you'll need a break after your drink break)
How bout adding entertainment options as a category? Shows, characters, streetmosphere, all of those are a great reason to go to a Disney park over other parks around the world.
Category’s to consider next time Adult vs child parks- drinks Top attractions in each park Pricing of each park Lighting Lane prices Characters greetings Recharge Station and plug ins # of Table service, booths Night time shows ranking Parades and how many a day Maximum occupancy (low, med, high) Parking Gate entry process Water attractions/ rides to combat heat Shopping Lastly, who sells Dr. pepper!!!
I think a ranking addition should be how many classic rides still exist and have managed to escape destruction. Call it the nostalgia factor, like you mentioned with 80s Epcot and SSE, just for those of us who have been visiting the parks for decades!
When I ate at Tiffin's, the fryers they used for the whole fried fish were down for maintenance. Instead they were offering a pan roasted filet of fish. That sounded good so I ordered that. It was delicious. Evidently it was so popular they added it to the menu permanently.
My wife and I are venturing to the Polynesian just to change things up here in a few days, but we typically stay at the beach club.... It's just amazing
@ happy to hear. My mom s actually always wanted to stay at the Polynesian so that might be where we go next time. Though we do wanna swing by there this time to grab breakfast at Ohana s
My favorite park is animal kingdom because of the safari ride, lion king show and there are actual animals throughout the park. Epcot is taking away animals and taking away educational rides😫
Animal Kingdom should win #1 simply for "Festival of the Lion King." Full stop. As for food, it is our favorite park for food. EPCOT is great, but not if you have strict food allergies (completely rules out most of the World Showcase). Animal Kingdom is so beautiful and relaxing.
I definitely agree with all the rankings, I would be curious to see maybe a category on character meet and greets. Like how many and rare characters etc.
When my husband and I only have one day in Orlando for a theme park, our pick is always Magic Kingdom. However, this may change if they actually fill in the rivers of America. And, yes it is acceptable to ride People Mover all day.
We go to Disney twice a year (February and September) and hit 2 parks each time, so in February we are doing AK and HS, and MK and EPCOT in September, but we enjoy all 4 parks! We have favorite rides at each, favorite shows at each (Festival of the Lion King is our favorite "anything" on property), and favorite food at each so it just comes down to what we like to do that time and where we stay (DVC Members with AKL and SS as our resorts).
I alwyas say my favorite changes each trip. One trip I had the best animal kingdom day I’ve ever had and I was like ok animal kingdom slaps , when previously I didn’t care about AK much. Then this last trip I had two amazing Hollywood studios days and it became my favorite again !
For our family, Studios stopped being in the top 3 when the Great Movie Ride was gone as the last vestige of the old MGM. At the very most now, we😊 spend 2 to 3 hours and then parkhop out. We find Animal Kingdom to be so much more inviting and lively.
I always have a hard time ranking them, since I have good days and bad days at them all. As far as quantity of stuff I can enjoy when I go though... MK > AK > HS > Epcot
i searched up disney 4 parks ranking and found this video...perfect timing! I will be going really soon and would like to know from you guys which is the best park for a couple? (im not too picky but i will like to add i want fun thrilling rides as well as good atmosphere to enjoy and walk around in. i also dont care much for the live performances. good eats is always a plus. which is my best option?)
It still boggles my mind that they didn't want to expand Pandora at AK with the plans they have to put it in DCA. Now we have two half-lands that only some people can visit.
Magic kingdom for vibes and rides Epcot for food and entertainment and nighttime fireworks Animal kingdom for the animals and environment And Hollywood for star wars
Hollywood Studios deserves the ride category. You got all those heavy hitters. Epcot I would give for food, Magic Kingdom for the nostalgia, and Animal Kingdom for theming. Also keep in mind Hollywood Studios is the only park as of right now that doesn’t have any construction or ride closures. Plus since they just announced the closing date for Muppets land and Muppet Vision 3D I’m planning on going to Hollywood Studios in March to say one last goodbye. I’m going to 1 park to 1 day only.
For me, I rank Hollywood Studios #1 now. I remember growing up going every year, we only stayed there for half a day, but now there is so much added that you basically have to stay the whole day. Animal Kingdom ties with Magic Kingdom, though I imagine MK will be #1 again once it's construction is all done, however, with the construction that's going on at AK with Pandora world... yea, though I have to take points away from removing my two most favorite rides in the park: It's Tough to be a Bug and Dinosaur. I only rank Epcot at the bottom because it just feels like a half day park for me still and it's mostly about eating and walking still. My gut tells me that Disney wants to make each pack a full day excursion and Epcot is really the last one that needs a whole new area with a few more rides added to get there.
Missed category: kid friendliness (or lack of). Depending on your lifestyle, you may want to prioritize one place over another based on kids. For example, I prefer Epcot and Hollywood studios over MK because they are a bit more adult-centered
For me it’s Epcot, AK, DHS, and MK. MK is “last” because I grew up with Disneyland and MK just doesn’t come close to “matching” the original. If it wasn’t for that I would switch DHS and MK. DHS just doesn’t have a sense of identity, it just has a bunch of thrill rides.
I disagree with a lot of these rankings. Magic Kingdom is easily worst for food. Hollywood Studios is much better than EPCOT for rides. I really don’t get the push for Animal Kingdom in these ranking videos. It is a half day park, at best. Hopefully the Encanto world finally adds some new life to the park.
I haven't watched yet, but my brain says this year it should be Epcot since the other three all will have large parts of their part closed and constructioning.
Giving the Muppets a rollercoaster as their only showing in the parks is still a bizarre idea to me. You're telling me the best Disney could do for this all ages, toddler friendly IP is give it a rollercoaster with a 4 foot tall rider height requirement? Just a weird choice. Like don't get me started about Disney tearing up Frontierland to plop down a flipping Cars E-ticket, but at least they said there's gonna be an all ages attraction in that area as well. I don't like it, but that at least makes sense.
Even with the refurb to Rock n' Rollercoaster, I still would prefer going to Hollywood Studios over Epcot or MK for rides, but I would say for a fuller experience I'd prefer going to MK (unless there's a festival going on in Epcot, which still has Test Track down for a refurb until late this year).
I have to say if you visit any other magic Kingdom style Disney park around the world you'll very quickly realise it's incredibly lacklustre relative to what it could be- it wins for sheer volume of rides but nostalgia can only take it so far, so many dark rides are just incredibly outdated in my opinion. Don't get me wrong the vibes are immaculate (though still not on a par with Hollywood at night) but it's probably the park we spend the least time in these days...
My partner and I are going to Disney soon and… we’re not going to MK 🙊 we have a day at each of the other parks and a resort day with a California grill dinner to still see happily ever after fireworks without the absolute chaos and overstimulation that is Main Street USA
Must be nice to be able to enjoy any of the table service restaurants at AK. Most of the dishes have things that I and/or my wife are allergic to (eg bellpeppers) We'll have to stick to quick service during our visit.
For me, Animal Kingdom is my least favorite park. I usually do one half day and then park hop. I do LOVE Flame Tree Barbecue, though, so I usually go for that. Epcot would be next on my list. I feel like the rides are meh... Remy's is probably the only ride I enjoy. I mostly go for the food and World Showcase. Magic Kingdom may become my top favorite, but for now it's second on my list. Casey's Corner for the mini corn dogs, all the rides, great snacks, and a lot of good parades. Hollywood Studios for me is my favorite. I do agree, the food isn't amazing. But I love the rides and I love the Star Wars and Toy Story lands. I am super excited for the new Monsters Inc land. Again, that's just my vote, but I will agree that Epcot has amazing food and the construction will be a bit annoying when I go this year, but I'm still excited! 😊
If all of the original plans for the Epcot transformation had been realized, it would be number 1 overall. Although basing the Mary Poppins attraction off of the sequel and not the original was a TERRIBLE idea. Glad that didn't come to pass.
Yeah that is a personal opinion thing. Epcot is definitely number 4 for me for example. And I love Hollywood Studios, not the best but I would make it P2.
Personally I like Hollywood for the rides, Epcot for the food, magic kingdom for the feels and animal kingdom for the sets and views
100%!!
Yea, I'll be honest I found it odd to have Hollywood Studios at 3rd for rides, it definitely has the most thrilling rides.
This is a great description of the parks!

Epcot was the most dull for me. I would rank them hollywoood studios, magic kingdom, animal kingdom and Epcot last

I would put Epcot last. HS probably best. MK just too busy and big and AK not enough rides.

Epcot, AK, Hollywood Studios, MK. MK is my least favorite park.
