The park that was behind you, Square Rene Viviani, along the row of books has the oldest tree in Paris in it. Over 400 years old. I love Paris. Was just there in Aug/Sep. Enjoy yourselves.

We are going to paris next April and we are so excited. A little nervous because it's our first time in another country but can't wait for disneyland paris and exploring the city.
There are several videos on TH-cam that show the rebuild of Notre Dame. It's really amazing what they are doing. I went on a tour of it back in 2010, before the fire, and it was spectacular and beautiful!
I can agree on the the people/panhandling/scammers, they tried it on us at the Eiffel tower..just walk away. We even saw a beggar with GOLD teeth in front of McDonald's! Keep up the awesome vlog!

I love the sometimes vlogs! Thanks so much for showing us Paris. I'm very interested in the 2nd Empire, that's Napoleon 2nd, and have read quite a bit about it. Much of the improvement of Paris happened during that time. Then, there was the Siege of Paris in the winter of 1870-71 when much of it was destroyed by either the Prussians or the Communards. It was a crazy time, too!

I wish you’d do videos from Germany. Paris was so disappointing after being in Germany. Between the alps, and museum island in Berlin, the Rhein in flames and it’s history. Potsdam is also absolutely beautiful. The people are more welcoming and giving. Still be aware of your surroundings, but night and day difference.

I heard that as well that Paris is not all that. That it’s really dirty in the tourist areas. Scammers like crazy. So you are always on your toes that you really don’t enjoy your time 🤷🏻♀️
