I'm thinking rubber feet on the stands, and the heat issue could be beneficial to keep food warm? I don't know, haven't taken mine out the box yet, and wondering if I should take mine back to HD, and mine cost $129

For a big boy like him a grill that small is silly. Plus, unless he's truly going to take that camping or to a hotel motel or travel with it, it's a very silly choice. He keeps complaining how small it is and I agree myself it's very small.. plus you have to purchase a table, come up with a heat shield for underneath. Why don't you just buy a regular grill on wheels? Nowhere does he say he's going to use this grill on the road so it's a stupid choice. Plus it's only a two burner. He's burning those chops because he doesn't have enough room and he doesn't have a cool zone.. Grill is just a regular shitshow for a big boy like him

That is to hold a match so you can light it if the batteries are dead on the ignitor . You can do it without burning your hands.

isn't it evident that the grease shields are the reason for the heat on the underside ...... wish you would have shown the interior.

No. Never use a grill to heat your house. They put out Carbon Monoxide and you and anyone else in the house will most likely die.

I did exactly that. I now have a full sized grill that can cook anything.
Everything but the charcoal.
Well around here you cannot use a charcoal grill all year.
