i’m glad i’m not the only one who had a reading slump this month, literally just read 3 books, including better than the movies :)
Omg Same I swear i can’t with this reading slump anymore, it’s so hard cause all I wanna do is read some good book but I just can’t get into them at the moment. I read also some mangas to maybe get me out of this reading slump, didn’t help me. I‘m loosing hope 😩

I love this!!! Rock Paper Scissors was PHENOMENAL! Read local woman missing as a thriller! So good! The guest list I didn’t guess the ending but I had a hard time with the format and not knowing who was dead for awhile until the end and then I was like oh I guess that was a cool way to lead up to it. 🤷🏻♀️ can’t wait for your next video! Cheers to the end of your reading slump! 🥂

Omg I read The Guest List, I think, in June and I completely agree with you. Amazing writing style and I loved the characters but it wasn't a shocking ending because I'd already figured it out. Love your videos :)

I just finished daisy darker by Alice Feeney and it gave me the exact same feeling you described about Rock Paper Scissors!!! If you haven't read Daisy Darker yet I highly recommend it! the plot twist was the last thing that I was expecting but it was done so well and, to me, it was so unpredictable

I don’t know if you’ve read it, but if not you should read the raven cycle. It’s a four book series, but I read it so fast. The plot is honestly kind of hard to explain without going to far into it, but I’ll try. The main characters name is blue, and she lives in a house full of women who all have psychic abilities. She is the only one who doesn’t, although her presence seems to make theirs stronger. Every year on St. Marks eve, April 25th, she and her mom go to an abandoned church and her mom watches the spirits of the soon-to-be-dead walk by. Blue never sees them, but this year a boy appears. He’s wearing the uniform of the local private school for extremely rich boys, aglionby academy. When she asks her mom about why she can see him, she’s told either he’s her true love, or she kills him. Blue has also been told since her birth that if she kisses her true love, he will die, and so she puts this information together. She ends up meeting the boy and his friends, and learns that they are on a quest to find a welsh king that they believe never really died, but is instead hidden somewhere in the town. basically the two main plot points are about blue trying to find a way to save the guy, and the whole gang looking for the lost king. It’s part romance, part adventure, and it has good lgbtq+ representation. The characters are all very complex and well developed, and the book deals with trauma and abuse in very good ways. The writing style is also really complex and beautiful, which I loved. I’ve heard it has some parallels to the six of crows series, although I haven’t read that yet. Anyways sorry for the rant, but I think you would enjoy it if you haven’t read it yet!

I know I’m not Sara, but I think a good book of hers to start with is 28 Summers
Then go in with her paradise series, there are 3 books in that series and all are really good
