okay but why do i find "just a stranger" and "warm nights" calming? just a stranger sounds melancholic rather than "spooky" or "unsettling", and the title makes it feel even more so warm nights gives the same vibe, though a bit more hopeless and perhaps even aimless- like one is attempting to remember a calming or dreary scene from long ago yet finds their memory fading (quite ironic that it's followed by a1/it's just a burning memory, huh?) actually, "still life" fits into this as well, but definitely more into the hopeless/aimless vibe that warm nights sets up 7 weeks & 3 days does too, in a way, with how it's slowed here; like one's accepted their new normal and numbers gives it this false optimistic beat, like they're perfectly fine with it- or trying to be and "never forgive me, never forget me" sounds a bit like the flip side of numbers, another follow-up to 7 weeks & 3 days: someone who's not okay with what is their new normal (and HOW is hidden in the sand spooky or unsettling??? it's arguably THE most calming song here???) ...maybe i'm reading into it too much? or is it just writer's brain?
