Not a roast but I’d like to give a few lengthy pointers. Mostly on game 1 because game 2 was already an improvement.
1. You should work on using frenzy at appropriate times. It’s wasted a lot in game 1. It’s most optimal during chase to close distances between you and vaulting survivors. So many times you tried to mind game pallets and vaults instead of just running through them.
2. If you are gonna mind game them because frenzy is on CD or whatever, it’s useful to walk backwards around obstacles to trick survivors with your red stain.
3. @ 9:50 Frenzy strike does renew your meter. So if you had held your 2nd strike to keep frenzy, the shack pallet wouldn’t have mattered. And if you play an add on like iridescent button it would’ve never mattered.
4. @ 11:00 ish you made no use of the discordance proc. Which is ok to ignore sometimes but not when part of the problem this game was finding survivors anyways. And if discordance procs then you have at least 2 survivors to chain off of. Building chains isn’t always worth it. But it can be. Especially when you have perks or add ons to make strikes worth more.
5. @ 12:00 this is a good example of frenzy usage. You don’t always want to use it for map traversal but when you do, keep in mind that you ideally don’t want to enter chase on frenzy CD. So use it when you’re going far enough away that some of the meter can refill by the time you enter chase.
6. @ 12:24 this was a good time to frenzy. She either takes a hit or vaults and you vault after. Getting you a basically free hit. Remember that with legion you move a lot like a survivor and so vaults shouldn’t slow you down like that.
7. @ 12:50 again you shouldn’t be mind gaming these pallets. It’s a waste of valuable time. Your frenzy was on CD here but only because you used it poorly just before this. When last used you didn’t cover any ground or have visuals on anyone to chase but if you had it up you could’ve used on this pallet.
8. @ 13:00 you could’ve frenzied the vault after him here.
9. @14:13 you already lost at this point but your best bet was probably to get straight for the pick up to play off the hook for anyone that might try to rescue her.
10. @ 14:25 you should’ve frenzy vaulted here.
Game 2 was much better but that map is really good for legion. For game 2 I would mostly just tell you that knowing when to cancel frenzy early because you won’t reach another chain in time is actually huge. Also since I couldn’t tell if you were doing it or not, use the heart beat for its sensory data and try to always look around for what’s nearby even if you don’t intend to chain off of it.
Legion is one of my favorites. I’m glad you decided to play them. Hope to see more legion in the future.
