While popping out the bulb casing the transparent cover can fall off. This happened to me on both mirrors. It's easy to fix it - you just glue it back on. I've used the opportunity to coat the interior of the casing with aluminum foil in order to make it reflective and to get more light out of it. For some reason Citroën decided to leave the inside of the casing black!

They should have just put in forward firing LEDs!
Why you remove the mirror glass and not only the base fro the bottom??
