I can move the mirror left and right with the help of the key inside. But it doesn't move up and down. When I touched the mirror, I realized that it was more or less empty and there was nothing holding it back. What do you suggest me to fix this? Thank you

    Great vid mate.
Somebody hit my mirror on C4 and broke the plastic spindle. For some reason I can't get the remaining part that is inside the mirror to come out. I was hoping to glue the spindle and put it back together....
    Any ideas? Thanks

Hi there, if you want send some pics to the facebook page for this channel so i can see how its broke.
Worst case scenario a second hand mirror from a scrap yard might not be too expensive. Some of the plastics used on cars can be tricky to glue effectively.

@@peugeotCitroen2CV Thank you. Actually got the stuck part out. Just needed slim pliars and some wiggling. Then used Gorilla glue, let it set 24h. Then put it back together. Worked like a charm.

Hi. Your videos are really good, very illustrative and easy to understand, and with a wealth of information in the on screen written comments too.
Surprisingly, this is a rare phenomenon on the internet. Excellent work!
    I have a question concerning a 2007 Citroen C4 1.6 HDi 109 Hp I am about to buy;
It has 197.000 Km on the counter, but has been well serviced, so with the infamous longevity of the PSA diesel engines in mind, I am not worried about that, but the seller (who is a police man and an honest guy) told me the plastic tip of the oil dip stick recently broke off and is now swimming around in the internals of the motor.
Is this something I should be worried about..?

Same thing happened to me, tip od the dip stick broke and stayed inside oil inside the engine. No worries. Just buy a new one.

This video is made very well, I will definitely do this to my mirrors. I have a question : How do you remove the wobbling from the mirror itself - I mean that the glass part is moving from the adjustment motor.

      Hi there,
The mirror itself in this instance was not wobbling it was the shell that holds it at the spindle that had the wobble.
If the glass is wobbling I would check that the glass part is fully clipped into the motor unit, the motor unit might be slightly dislodged from the shell or damaged in some way if the car has had its mirror clipped in some way. Thats the thing with something like this the damage inflicted on the mirror is very dependent on the history of a specific car so you need to take it apart and inspect it to see what doesn’t seem quite right.
Let me know how you get on, interested to hear what caused it

You could install a led light to heating mirror to warn you when engine is regenerating.

I have heard about this mod on the 407's, quite interesting the same can be done on the C4. Never actually studied the wiring diagrams to figure out how that is the case, seems an odd place to display the fact a regeneration is occurring why not on the instrument cluster.

На чёрной изоленте долго ходить не будет. У нас в России больше предпочитают синюю,она более прочная😂😂😂

Still holding up alright now, its only really acting as a spacer so i cant see how it could really wear down too much. Need to keep an eye out for blue insulating tape, is there something inherent in the blue polymer structure that makes it stronger than black tape?
