What if Team Order Won the Final Splatoon 2 Splatfest | Splatoon 3 Theory

- A couple weeks after the splatoon 2 final fest, I had made a theory covering what might happen in splatoon 3 now that team chaos had won the splatocalypse. After 2 months and the massive amount of support that that theory obtained, I wanted to do an alternate reality on what might’ve happened had team order won. Yes, I did look at the dialouge from the results of either team winning, but I looked past it because: It was a lot of hype leading up to it, something similar happened in splatoon 1 and Callie got kidnapped, and...because it’s fun lol. This is just an innocent splatoon 3 theory which may or may not actually happen which I had backed up with some splatoon 2 dialogue, splatoon 2 events etc. It covers what might happen in the splatoon 3 story mode, the general splatoon 3 setting and possible splatoon 3 characters. What do you think will happen if and probably when splatoon 3 gets announced. Yes, I did look at the dialogue from the results of either team winning, but I looked past it because:
1. It was a lot of hype leading up to it, with a very unique tone
2. Something similar happened in splatoon 1 when everything seemed all good and Callie got kidnapped
3. Because it’s fun lol. More than anything else, I hope this theory was an entertaining video to listen to and perhaps you share the same views that I do.

I think that the story won't play out in Inkopolis at all.
I think it'll play out in the Octarian world.
Not only to maintain the overall "teens having fun and hanging out"- feeling, but also because the octarians surely won't be like, "oh the octolings are gone? who cares lol". There probably would be CHAOS...
Maybe the protagonist could also be an adult/younger octoling who is trying to get onto the surface!
It will be announced in 2020. Released in 2021.

Actually the Order glasses were called "Hivemind" Glasses or Shades or something, the antennae could mean that it sends messages to other wearers of the glasses, the name implies that the connection between the users could be so strong that they all bassicaly become a single mind made out of lots of minds like a hive of minds

If chaos wins there is natural order. After all, the people can do whatever they want, if they want to make a self organized police force, they can.
However if order wins, there won’t be natural chaos, since it will be instantly suppressed as soon as it arises.

I was on team order, and I swear I tried really hard. In several games I got over 3000 points (including win bonus). And I didn't even get that many kills. People need to stop playing turf war like it's ranked, where kills actually matter. Kills don't mean much in turf war, as long as you avoid being killed too much yourself and ink a lot of turf then you're a solid contribution to the team.
Yes! The worst is that they are people who literally don't ink. They just try to hunt the other team. That's shitty for both teams and not fun at all! Especially when it's a whole team like that. The worst that happened to me was that we were getting spawnkilled by ALL of the other team when the mal was barely inked. Where's the fun in this? Like there's nothing at stake. At least go ink the place for a bit or let our team pass so we can actually have a fight!
I get that new players may play like that in every mode. Most games are played like this and so are Splatoon's ranked modes. But you should start to realize after a few matches that it's not what turf war is made for, that it's not really fun and that it doesn't work nor makes you good. Kinda like painting most of the walls.
Heck, that attitude is understandable for Splatfests because it's a competition but they're over. Literally NOTHING is at stake during turf war.
Sorry for the rant! It's something that's been bothering me and I don't see many people talking about it.

This is sorta why I was surprised Chaos won, because I thought Nintendo was going to go the (more) unique route and have us fight against order-turned-tyranny in the next game like you explain qvq It would have been really cool to see Marina go complete Knight Templar and to see order straight up stifle inkopolis to the point where it needs saving, but I guess at the end of the day I'm still content that my team won 💦

If any theme would have won I think Callie and Marie would work together, let me talk for a bit. Each theme has it ruler, chaos being Pearl and order being Marina, and probably Callie being the second in command for chaos, and Marie being second in command in order, I think they both will be betraying their theme they chooses to be on, but hidden, with the help of Sheldon they will restore their world to its place, along the player, Cap Cuttlefish doesn’t know anything about this, because he from the started wanted order. In resume, the Squid Sisters along Sheldon, maybe Judd, and the player would work behind the backs from their leader, an alternative is the team that lost would be the people in charge of changing the world, that would let up to the Singleplayer campaign.

Seeing the new Game reveal I think I can say this if Order won
1. We would have had a Rebellion story to take down a corrupted system
2. Hypnotized Inkings would have help Marina while a lot of Octolings would have been apart of the rebellion (Cause They don't want to be on the wrong side of history again)
3. In the revel we see a small salmon as a pet and we had salmon head gear as to show support in chaos, so we would have had little robot pets if order won
4. Octavio would have anonymously support Chaos due to him still being in the globe (Jail) and manipulating some squid into breaking out of Marina's control and joining the rebellion
5. We would have a break out mission to get Octavio out of prison and to get Marina to stop and snap out of it
6. Sheldon will be playing both side, as a double agent or a betrayer ( all I could really guess due to the lack of him in the reveal)
7. Marina will want Pearl to change her ways and submit into order
8. Urchins will also help create order, Monitoring some of the low populated areas
9. The squid sisters would have been apart of the Rebellion (possibly as local play with a whole new storyline)
i kinda wanna see both stories play out.

All jokes aside, I think it would be interesting to see a Kirby Planet Robobot like Story where some crazy computer goes insane, like Star Dream from that game. In my opinion, the better option didn’t win. I don’t like the idea of a Sonic 06 Crisis City over a Kirby Planet Robobot Computer fight. But that’s just me.

Given how Splatsville turned out, I’m gonna guess it wouldn’t have been a dystopian society but more like something out of Bladerunner but not as gritty. Yeah Marina evidently still has some military tendencies from her days as an Octarian soldier but she really doesn’t seem like the type to wanna rule like you said. I’d imagine an almost cyberpunk Inkopolis with new arenas floating up in space.
I like to imagine an Order-wins world would've been more focused on just "Everyone works together and enjoys life", maybe with a focus in the story mode moreso on protecting that society than turning it back to how it was (AKA Order wins turns the world into Canada)

I feel like an interesting way to go about it is to have a little bit of both, but with Pearl and Marina's sanity (and trustworthiness) intact:
Some time after the final Splatfest, the world was litterally split into two worlds; one of chaos and one of order, with Pearl and Marina leading their respective sides due to circumstances forcing them to go their own ways. Some time before Splatoon 3's story mode takes place, Marina is annexed from her position of power because she realized that things were becoming too orderly and too tyrannical, but those who had a taste of their power didn't want to let go of it. Same thing with Pearl's side; saw things were getting too lawless and attempted to maintain some semblence of control, but was exiled by those who wanted to revel in the freedom chaos provided.
Due to Chaos winning the splatfest, Pearl's world of chaos will launch an assault on Marina's world of order the same day the two of them were exiled. thus, like in octo expansion, they serve as your dual mission control during missions. The fight will be taken to both sides in an attempt to restore equilibrium, but you'll be fighting chaos forces more often due to them being more powerful.
Imagine 3 endings, 2 where you screw up (making Chaos or Order dominant) and one where true balance is restored.
Wait a minute we could have two New Hubs during the story mode ?

Looking back on this video after the Splatoon 3 DLC got announced and Splatoon 3 being out it's really interesting to that the DLC is about what if Order won?
Considering that that’s what a world of order looks like, then maybe it was for the best that chaos won. Even with chaos being the victor, things are still relatively normalish.
If the members of Chaos and Order go against each other in S3 - it'll potentially be Agent 4 and Callie (and maybe Octavio?) vs. Marie.
It's like a reverse Hero Mode and that's neat.

Even though this is over a year ago, I think that Splatoon 3's story will spiral out of control either way. It would be cool if the whole Splatlands thing was because of chaos and things like desertification or unrest in the world, and if order won then it would be a "perfect" world where everything is equal. I could see that Order might've been secret agent theme in a futuristic society. Order could be, like he said, a monarchy, dictatorship, etc. that controls everything, or just a structure like a business or agency. I would've loved to see a secret agent theme, and I guess the zipcaster special would fit really well in that. More stealth would definitely be cool.

For Splatoon 3's release date, just remember that Splatoon team works on Animal Crossing rn. So the game releases in march 2020 let's imagine that they start a new Splatoon project directly. The game would take about 3 or 4 years to make, so 2023 or 2024 ? These years are actually pretty logic because Nintendo said that they wanted the Switch to last 6 years. Counting 2017, the Switch should "end" in 2022 or 2023. So it would make Splatoon 3 ready for the next console, and with 3~4 years, the game would be incredible !

Order 1st, Chaos 2nd - A perfect world doesn't exist perfectly, it will fall into chaos eventually
Chaos 1st, Order 2nd - As stated earlier, chaos will reign, it's a matter of when, but that also applies to Order. Eventually, whether it be via revalations or a revolution, people will gather, systems will be built, etc.
In addition, this strategy would satisfy both sides when we realize, which we already did, that the Final Splatfest would decide the next Splatoon games' theme. A perfectly fair Turf War to decide the order rather than eliminating the side you dislike as a game.

Judd reminds me of a referee with his little fur mark tie and they have to be neutral in order to say which team won if you have a bias referee during a sport they might say that their favorite team scored a point
