- Some of you might have done this before for kicks, but as some people have asked, I want to show everyone exactly what happens if you do that. For once, not playing in Ace mode - this just meant as a display.

That's quite the ironic echo of the last mission in AC7, considering that AC7 takes place a year before ACX.

Ace combat X is underrated, everybody holds 5 in such a high regard but for me this was the beggining
Absolutely. If X had been a full console release it would easily be ranked top 3 in the series
Eh still don’t think this game is up there because it doesn’t hold the same power as 4, 5 and 0 with its unique type story, even 5 fell off a bit for more emotion than militaristic styling like 4 and 0
This game is one of the best games I played as a kid, still love it, especially the score
5 is too overrated, zero is the best followed by 4 then X, 2 and the Japanese 3 as well with 7
was hoping for a remaster soon.
unlike Mihaly in ac7 they actually don't have plot armor and aren't flying in easy mode. so hats off to them.

@@AstralStar. I don't recall shooting him down within 2 hits on hard. Not to mention all those bs he took on all the previous missions before the one where you actually get to down him.
@@reconatd7655 That's because he's not supposed to die beforehand, otherwise that mission would serve zero purpose.
Also, were you using any specific special weapon, or just missiles? Your machine gun helps a lot.

1. I want to make it clear that machine gun also counts as hits. And clearly, you don't kill Mihaly with just 2 machine gun hits, or whatever 2 combination hits.
2. "He's not supposed to die beforehand" = plot armor. You can hit his plane a million times beforehand and he's gonna take them all like nobody's business. I'm not sure what are you trying to argue here.

Gun hits and missile/spw hits are different in my book.
Also, plot armor has been a thing in AC for a very long time now. The story would make zero sense if he didn't have 'plot armor' early in the game. What would be the point if you could shoot him down in the first appearance?
A good thing to be Ace Combat fan, because you got access to such wonderful portable titles from the series.

Honestly the most hardcore ace combat I've ever played while playing on Ace difficulty, standard missile is basically a QAAM and moreover you can't outrun missile's in this game unlike the previous game, you just gotta dodge and be fast
He just stopped in mid air. Crazy how it was back then. But now its completely normal in ace combat 7

I just used the falken with tls. I hope that the raven’s tls will bring it back to it’s former glory. Also can we pls make a petition to bring back enemy health displays so we don’t throw two missiles into low health targets?
The map HP color would be enough
White = full
Yellow = 1 mssl
Red = use your guns
TLS was not brought back to its former glory...
This game was so good. Blew my mind when it was new. It was like playing a PS2 game on the go.
Seems you forgot to edit out a reset at the start there. :P
Taking out the Fenrirs like that is always a fun thing to do, also good job showing them what the superior superplane is! :D

Now I wouldn't call you an Ace if you hack, I legit played this game back in my PSP and cleared it all in Ace Difficulty without cheats or Save File at the age of 12.
Edit: All difficulty was ranked S and all possible paths.
First one before i have that, i play all chapter in acx and ac joint assault, no cheat at all, and completed all mission. It's pure gameplay actually. It was freaking hard i'm first playing it. Played ace difficulty was like hell. Enemy shooting missles, and i died. I usually using ecmp when playing ace difficulty, how hard i playing like that?
P.S : all mission i played usually rank c, b, a, even s

My very first Ace Combat game when I got my first PSP, although I did play an Ace Combat game before in PS2 but I cant recall what it is... Probs Ace Combat 4...
Not much change other than the fact that you can bypass the electric transmitter powering the cloak. Even the TLS or LSWM works too.
Yeah, but it's interesting they planned for the situation - and a bit funny that the landing unit teleports inside the fortress.
The cheesiest way to kill them: Lure them while flying close to surface, decelerate, drop a SWBM without locking onto anything, the explosion will kill them.
Ace Combat X is the first Ace Combat game I played with my PPSSPP because I am getting bored on the games that I have. Hearing the music and the game again makes me wanna get another Ace Combat game.

Gryphus, even if he haven't fought alone, he managed to do like 75% of the things alone.. However , all the three Aces are exceptionals.

I mostly finished it in Android and I only have a few things left to do to 100% complete it without multiplayer medals and parts

I vaguely remember when I tried to do this as well. It ended with me either actually doing it, or with me Dying, most likely by a SAM or crashing my plane.
F-22 with XMAA (Or other planes with multi-lock weapons) and you can shot down two Fenrirs in the same moments while they're running to you at the mission beginning. But it kills all the epic dogfight.

lol I think most all of these aircraft are badass , no matter the timelines . Actually getting a new appreciation for the ones I never really cared for ,(after checking this channel out ) as of late . Keep-em coming Sir !

Very rarely, only on special occasions - I don't like it. Yes, the gun in ACX is hopeless, but autoaim is a terrible way to fix it, it just feels cheap.

i did it once in my Falken with the TLS
Falken's TLS was quite powerful in ACX, one single hit packs a lot of damage and a lot of fun!

I don't know if anyone esle has seen this in ace combat7 but in the mission. Where you have to protect the ersan general there is dialog from another awacs or allied unit that orders you or other osean aircraft to take out the general. Saying that the osean officer with him is a spy.
I dont know how to trigger this. Has anyone else have this happen?
AWACS Argus. I don't think anyone knows what triggers it either, but that's a moot point: such an important line should be in the basic mission script and play every single time. I didn't get it until my third playthrough.
@@TugaAvenger yes. I mean with out that audio the general gets killed for no reason. But with it. He is killed by order by ethier radicals tricking the osean fighter. Or he was telling. The truth.

What parts you use for plane xfa 27 and how to get it?

The only tuning part I can see so far is the Weapon tune “Scarface MBS” which gives you 4 standard missiles and is unlockable by S ranking Mission 4B False Target and it can only be used for the XFA-27
Yeak ik about scarface but how for the other parts?
Sniper OS for cockpit and probably some air to air parts Idk about the engine

Hah. I use CWcheat and Spam-Shooting the LSWM with my Fenri- oh, my PSP is Crashed Again... L0L
What I did was I made them all follow me to the surface of tbe sea then I shot the shockwave missile of the Fenrir (player) to the ground.

I didn't remember that the XFA-27's AC2 p job had the Usean Allies emblem on it, is this an fanmade retexture?
It is, one of my own. I really need to revisit ACX textures though, I may have led the way but others have done phenomenal stuff, main Ostrich, whose HD pack far outstrips mine.
I have 2 questions.
1. How hard is it to get this game emulated?
2. Would an Xbox 360/One controller work for this?
1- pretty easy, just download a emulator (ppsspp) and the iso
2- yep, I use the ppsspp on my pc, and I play it using a xbox360 controller

It's my favourite AC original. Maybe its only because I played AC2 before the PS2 games, but I love it more than the X-02 and all the rest.

I use the FALKEN more because in ACX there are certain parts you can use in the aircraft that would nearly max it out.

@@vaderix6065 it's only available for XFA-27 , you can set/find it on tune - weapon , the weapon name is "Scarface MBS"... XFA-27 is the only one plane that can use quadruple main missile with multi target system

No. It's just this might be my only ACX video not in Ace mode. My purpose here is just to display what happens, rather than a show of skill. Taking them down clocked on Ace boils down to luck, whether or not they decide to be visible when you're in position.

Besides that’s only half the Squadron flying as well because I doubt Fenrir are dual seaters

Bruh I just carried XLAA and put on the fastest engine the Falken can use, then shot at them at the shortest possible distance before they go invisible. This kills at least two of them if I remember correctly. I find it too hard to aim TLS and LSWM is gey.
