This is the second x70 pro vs pixel 6 pro comparison I've seen, and I definitely wish I could smush the two phones together to make the perfect phone camera. They're both great in their own way. Thanks for the video!
The Pixel shot is really different naturally and the camera is really detailed so I'm still a pixel 6 pro when it comes to the Camera than the vivo X70 pro plus.
Pixel's camera will get a lot better with software updates that's a guarantee. I would like to see a follow-up video 6 months from now when Google perfects this camera
Vivo had set out to create the best camera setup for low light settings. It did that with aplomb. All their daytime shots though more colour saturated (compared to Pixel 6 Pro in this case) is almost all instagramable shots, you don't need to mess with post-processing apps to get such effects. If you want colour accurate day time shots only, Pixel is your choice. If you want mechanical stabilization, more user control, best wide angle lens for daytime shots and the best low light camera you should choose Vivo X70 Pro+.
The Vivo has an auto-night mode feature here. The Pixel does as well, but it is turned off in the low light shots that are not taken in portrait mode. Anyone in here saying Vivo is better at low light is missing this. The Pixel has significantly better color science and white balance when comparing actual night mode shots. Even daytime shots look more natural on the Pixel. The fact that a Zeiss mode needs to be included on the Vivo tells you everything.
Google prefers to decide for you, which thankfully most of the time it's pretty good. Some may want more control, which is where the Vivo is the better option for them.
I seen that western reviewers favor the Pixel while asian reviewers favor the x70. Pixel do more "social media ready" photos while x70 are DIY and have better bokeh. Most are small details but the major ones are: X70 optical beats in very long range photos and lowlight in most cases VS Pixel will have better software updates overtime and support. IMO I think I'll get the Pixel but still dificult to decide because that non-auto switch between regular and telephoto is somethimg they must really look at (14:00) and reduce noise in night
There is still nothing to beat the Pixel 6 pro when it comes to the camera, look at the natural picture in real life, detailed even from afar, and the skin tone and color of nature are also beautiful.
I prefer pixel's style but I admit iphone overall is better (daylight+ultrawide+night+video). That's why every phone is released and reviewers make videos comparing it with iphone

I'm surprised how Vivo pictures look warmer here. I don't know what Vivo changed to make it looks like that but the Vivo X60 Pro that I have, the color in the pictures are so natural and details in the picture and very fine
The dog's hair on VIVO is really impressive, it is DSLR like. I was shocked when reading the comments most of them said how they preferred the pixel over vivo .. Yes in the front Camera , & Video N Audi quality I agreed PIXEL is better . But The main Camera , wide angle & night mode it is VIVO what impressed me th most It is already alternative over DSLR My friend you missed to crop heavily over the captured pictures to see the true detail between the 2 images. Pixel is definitely behind in portrait shots. Specially the 2× shors are pixelated and oversharoened due to them being sigital. Vivo was great in portrait mode.
Vivo is really the best company to choose optics hardware and now with this v1 costume chip they are in the right path to deliver the best camera phone ever

This is the first comparison that shows the difference that Zeiss Mode makes, I haven't seen anyone do that in their comparison. Everyone says that pixel has better color science. But that's only when the Zeiss natural isn't turned on. After that, its pretty close. And also, I really didn't like the bokeh of pixel in human portraits. Seems like pixel worked more on the color science than other small things. Plus the night mode shots. In pixel it's impossible unless you have a tripod or something. My opinion is, for pixel, it might be a hit or miss situation. But its less priced. And while vivo is costlier, it's stable and works pretty damn good.

You can see some nosie in certain Google shots but for the most part that neck and neck there some night shots I prefer from the google and there's some shots I prefer on the vivo

Vivo's video is really really bad. From the beginning of the video with 4k 60 main camera footage you can see how it lost all the details on your face. Also, the dynamic range is really worse than a mid ranger on Vivo's main cam's footage😑
honestly i don't know which phone is better for taking photos. Both have similar quality of details in the photos. Pixel 6 Pro has more natural colors, while Vivo has more vivid colors which makes photos more dramatic. So it all depends on your preferences.
I was looking at the vivo but after hearing the video audio comparison u don't know if I would actually enjoy that or not. Maybe the x80 pro plus will be a bit more advanced in areas other than just the camera
Having your 4 rear photo sensors stabilized but no stabilization and 4k on your selfie sensor, sincerely you have to do it 🤦🏽♂️. I really wonder if some brands are really studying the market 🤔? On this Vivo it is really imperative to activate the Zeis mode, because the normal mode 🥴. In video it is very very average, on the other hand in photo with the Zeis mode activated it is really good. In night photography it's monstrously good 🔥. But please, who can make Android manufacturers understand that raising the ISO and wanting to unblock all the shadows in night video is harmful for the quality of this one? Honestly if I supported iOS I would have taken an iPhone for the consistency of the rendering, but luckily for me that Samsung exists with its fairly consistent software processing and especially its photo-video Pro mode 🙏🏽.
I also like the Zeiss natural color mode. Colors in auto aren't great to me. Video on the Vivo isn't too great either, but it is very crisp and clean in low light. Pro mode helps if you think auto cranks up the ISO too much.
The pixel 6 pro is still different when it comes to the Camera, look at the natural skin tone and the photos are very clear, even if the picture is far away, the picture is really detailed, compare it to the Vivo X70 Pro + it looks like a mixture of Yellow and Green, the picture is not very detailed.
pixel front camera has a pink hue on skin i dont know if thats how you look like in person vivo wins the selfie it has more detail an better skin tones imop.

Does the P6 over-process the main cam images? Yes. These look nicer (sharper) but as soon as you digital zoom/crop then the image turns blotchy. So I prefer the X70. Nigh shots are much better on x70, including color. The sound on X70 is tunnel-y and needs improving. Portrait is about the skin color and Grant should say which is more like him.
Good light the pixel wins. low light the Vivo does great. Pixel digital zoom usually looks better than the optical zoom on the Vivo. Mic on the Vivo sucks.
I use to be a pixel fan but as i get better at photography.....pixel phone has too much sharpness n clarity in the photo...which is good at certain times but not all the time... The RAW format is better on the vivosince it support superior RAW format.... I like both phones but i do lean more on the vivo x70 pro plus here....
To me the pixel reproduces colours better every single time but portrait mode could be better. Some say that the pixel 4 has better edge detection than the 6 and I think that's true. Probably because the 6 doesn't have that tof sensor anymore that the 4 has. Hopefully google can bring back that hardware or maybe fix it's software. Video hands down pixel is better in quality. When it comes to pictures, I think the Pixel takes the cake.. But man, does that video look grainy! Unbelievable amount of noise in Pixel's video when light conditions are not that ideal. The intro videos show it clearly.

Yes, hardware is the same globally. I assume they'd sell the global version with Funtouch OS (closer to Color OS and more stock-like) instead of Origin OS.
The vivo clearly shoots some form of night mode with just camera shot. Otherwise realy impressed with the vivo, night shots reminds me older version google algorithm with the blue hue.
It decides to take a bit of a long exposure depending on the scene, but not as much as dedicated night mode. Doesn't matter if you turn AI on/off it will decide in auto mode.
I seriously thought the Vivo X70 Pro+ was going to wash or mop the floor with the Pixel 6 Pro based on all the hype about the new ISP that they have created, but the pixel 6 Pro photos were mostly better more natural, and definitely more details, on the other hand, the X70 Pro+ is doing better with some of its night mode shots, I really wish Google would stop cranking up the ISO so High in its night time photos and videos and just toggle the Exposure comp more. great comparison btw!!
Yeah, I've been wanting more control in low light with Pixels but they aren't interested in doing that. At least you have that option with Pro mode on the Vivo.
Just use GCAM for better selfies in Vivo x70 Pro plus. You should be getting more or less same output as pixel 6 pro. But eis is not there in front camera on vivo. Not a deal breaker

I prefer the colour on the Pixel. The Vivo without the Natural mode is too saturated. Good try from Vivo though, competition is good.

Could depend on the lighting too, especially at night. A lot of the lights around are warm.
Vivo also using the manual mode looks great, is getting better every version specially, night mode

In the autofocus test Pixel was record with the ultrawide zoomed in.
Vivo X70 pro + is still the best but the pixel 6 pro is still different when it comes to the Camera, that's what the Vivo X70 pro + doesn't have.

Yes, hardware is the same globally. I assume they'd sell the global version with Funtouch OS (closer to Color OS and more stock-like) instead of Origin OS.
The vivo clearly shoots some form of night mode with just camera shot. Otherwise realy impressed with the vivo, night shots reminds me older version google algorithm with the blue hue.
Yep, there's definitely an auto-night mode enabled.
It decides to take a bit of a long exposure depending on the scene, but not as much as dedicated night mode. Doesn't matter if you turn AI on/off it will decide in auto mode.
I seriously thought the Vivo X70 Pro+ was going to wash or mop the floor with the Pixel 6 Pro based on all the hype about the new ISP that they have created, but the pixel 6 Pro photos were mostly better more natural, and definitely more details, on the other hand, the X70 Pro+ is doing better with some of its night mode shots, I really wish Google would stop cranking up the ISO so High in its night time photos and videos and just toggle the Exposure comp more. great comparison btw!!
Yeah, I've been wanting more control in low light with Pixels but they aren't interested in doing that. At least you have that option with Pro mode on the Vivo.

Just use GCAM for better selfies in Vivo x70 Pro plus. You should be getting more or less same output as pixel 6 pro. But eis is not there in front camera on vivo. Not a deal breaker

To be appreciate google picel 6 pro vs vivo x70 pro plus comparison was a best try, but i still have a hard feeling vivo making phones since long time but their product cannot get succeed with other models 👍
