The speed and raw force of his playing is a really interesting choice, paired with the melodic and soothing musical themes. Kind of hypnotic and kind of unique. Whatever it is he sure seems to be sincerely passionate about it. Or passionately sincere. And what's with the entourage? Don't really get the vibe that these are just all the leftover hippies from the *real* festival party, the ones hitch hiking to Utopia. Even if that's true, they're still only a stilt walker and some sky dancers short of a hippy circus.

Oh, how impressive the guy with the hula hoop broken in two graciously dancing. Not to mention his ability with the cristal ball. Pure Cirque Du Soleil. I.did not want this video to never end. I had never laughed so heartily lately! The dancing manequin with a mop on his head is priiceless too.
I love the music of course, but I've watched this video 100+ times and every time I watch it it feels like I'm watching it for the first time because I notice something new that I haven't before. Some small detail, social interaction, someone doing something or not really doing anything at all or someone's facial expression of how they're feeling in that moment. Ya gotta love it, Estas Tonne's talent, as well as the amazing 'full rainbow aura' that always seems to follow him, whenever and wherever he plays the guitar...every single person listening to him playing the guitar looks like (s)he's on drugs or at least hypnotized! i have'nt been to boom festival in 8 years now, it's only a month so this year is not an option but this video captured a special moment, one of many over the course of the festival, which brought up a longing to get back and connect again, music is indeed a universal language which is far profound, thank you for sharing this video, Etas Tonne for the incredible inspiration

Zen Smith Im not worried about the sun, my head will act like solar panels. I just think it would look a bit strange having a bald guy lurking in the shadows amongst the long flowing locks of vibrant hairy people.
I watched this WAY longer than I thought I would. The long-haired blonde dude was getting a little close to Estas...but he seemed in control of his movements. But, I think it's better to keep a more respectful distance from the performer. One kick to the headstock and the guitar goes out of tune. The guy with the incense was great though. Estas seemed to take it all in stride...or strum. It was easy to forget that one guy was making all of that music....soothing yet energizing stream-of-consciousness. Interesting how people would join in with various instruments, and most people seem to be respectful of the performer without barging in but seeking out harmonics to blend in with notes here and there. I've also noticed how similar hippies are everywhere you go...their facial expressions, style of dress...even how they dance. :) The people talking really need to kinda move away a bit, or at least pipe down during the quiet parts. Love the camera work. I felt like I was there, and it was great to hear Estas but also get a thorough view of the audience and participants all around. This would be mind-blowing in VR! Some of the women were quite beautiful, and the interaction between strangers was kind and generous too.
Always nice for a much needed escape. Sometimes I close my eyes and let the music sweep me away. Sometimes I watch all the people and try to remember that I’m not alone; that we’re all on this ride together. Everyone just doing what they do before it all kicks back in. Don’t forget to escape once in a while.

I watched this WAY longer than I thought I would. The long-haired blonde dude was getting a little close to Estas...but he seemed in control of his movements. But, I think it's better to keep a more respectful distance from the performer. One kick to the headstock and the guitar goes out of tune. The guy with the incense was great though. Estas seemed to take it all in stride...or strum. It was easy to forget that one guy was making all of that music....soothing yet energizing stream-of-consciousness.
Interesting how people would join in with various instruments, and most people seem to be respectful of the performer without barging in but seeking out harmonics to blend in with notes here and there.
I've also noticed how similar hippies are everywhere you go...their facial expressions, style of dress...even how they dance. :)
The people talking really need to kinda move away a bit, or at least pipe down during the quiet parts.
Love the camera work. I felt like I was there, and it was great to hear Estas but also get a thorough view of the audience and participants all around. This would be mind-blowing in VR! Some of the women were quite beautiful, and the interaction between strangers was kind and generous too.
Always nice for a much needed escape. Sometimes I close my eyes and let the music sweep me away. Sometimes I watch all the people and try to remember that I’m not alone; that we’re all on this ride together. Everyone just doing what they do before it all kicks back in. Don’t forget to escape once in a while.
