Tesla Model 3/Y RWD - Footwell lighting activation kit

- After adding the subwoofer and the fog lights, it was time to activate the footwell lights by using the lightingbugtech kit. This kit comes with a controller that allows you to customize the color, brightness and few extra things. The light will come on and off like OEM. Once the color and brightness are setup it will stay that way until you change it again via the app. The setup on the video is: color white, brightness 15%. Yeah, it is a bit tricky. The key is to use a small flat screwdriver to pry it out. Any questions let me know.

Can you change the brightness of the footwell lights to make it dimmer/weaker if needed?
Yes, you can do both thru the app. Brightness and colors.
Will this be on the whole time or will it only light up whenever darkmode or headlights are on at night?
Great question, it works as the OEM. On at all times, I keep it at about 10% and it looks great. Battery impact is non-noticeable. When the car goes off the lights go off as well. Once you open the door lights come on.

If you have these footwell lights with dashboard lights - can the footwell lights be set to different colour to dashboard light or do all lights need to stay at the same colour?
I only have the Footwells, but I'm sure according to other videos I have seen online you can set up each one with. Different colors.

Does these modifications affect warranty? Light footwell lights, sound system improvement or fog lights? Do they use alot of battery?
Great question, not that I know of. Battery consumption is minimum. I haven't noticed any changes in my battery's life.

LoL 😂 trust me and with the whole Christmas season around even more pressure. Thank God black Friday is already gone...man man man... AliExpress was hijacking my dreams while I was asleep. But it was a nice add-on. I saw quite a few cheaper options on Amazon and AliExpress but all of them require to tap into a wire or use the cigarette plug. This one is so far the only one with the controller option.

@@mansfieldartguy85 once you click on the link, select "New Customer:add the Controller and Power Cable to your shopping cart too". Option 1 shows "footwell ONLY". Select the one underneath.
Are they blue?
They look blue in the photo, you can change it to any RGB color, that photo is white light... because of the phone lent looks blueish but in real life are white to 15% brightness.
