I am thrilled they changed the upper on v5. I love the 4s but my feet always got so hot in them- the thicker upper was just too hot for my feet in warmer temps. I’m looking forward to trying the v5 to compare. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 another great video in the arsenal, nice job A!

Thoughts on using the Novablast 5 over the marathon distance? Running my first marathon in the Spring so considering prioritising comfort as a heavier runner (6'3 tall) targeting a sub-4.
I might be the only person that thinks like this so please take it with a pinch of salt but I’d rather run in shoes that are either performance tunes (race day carbon plated shoes) or fully cushioned shoes and not shoes in between.
Could you comment about the foams between FF Blast Max vs Light strike Pro of the Evo SL please. Such as the softness, rebounce, the ride ect... thank you
I started running with the Novablast 3, which dragged me round Paris marathon in 2023, the Glasgow half, plus all (well, not enough), the training surrounding. I got the Novablast 4 this year, and as good as it is, I can’t help but feel the 3s were better. For me, anyway. So much so, I’ve just got another pair of the 3s! Undecided about the 5s. Would love to push myself to getting a pair of the Superblast, but I hear there’s a potential Sonicblast in the pipeline, with a plate. Would love to hear more info on this potential new release, if you have any?
From what I've read the 5 is a good daily trainer, but that's not what the novablast used to be about. I've got the 4 which I like although not really for speed workouts. For me the mach 6 has moved into the space the novablast used to occupy, it is a brilliant shoe at a good price.

I understand these companies want to sell shoes, I get it, but from a shoe reviewer, I want to hear their review, features and benefits, what kind of foot or runner these are meant for, and final thoughts you know? When you start throwing out “five reasons you should buy this shoe” it feels like an asics ad. Again, constructive criticism. I love your videos, I love that you are an Everyman runner like all of us. Keep it up

Barring that price isn't an object, in short, what's the difference between the Superblast 2 and the Novablast 5? Is the Novablast 5 the poor man's version of the Superblast 2 or is this iteration of the Novablast actually better this go around?

I haven’t ran in the Superblast 2 but I would say the Superblast 2 will be a better option if you can afford it
I love the 4s but hopefully I can try on the 5s in store to see how they feel on foot.
You definitely should try it just to feel it, depending where you live they may even do a 30 day trial
