John, you are the best ..this is very difficult to get it right... thanks for sharing your insights. Typically how long would it take to convert from a bad serve to the correct one?
Thank you so much! Honestly, the time frame is based on a number of factors. If you are interested, I have additional resources that can help you...just reply to let me know and I will provide some options. Thanks, John
The details are so useful, like for the routine setting up for the serve and the trophy position. Most coaches don't give the specifics we need. One of the best coaches here on Ytube.
Thank you for the great feedback! Please keep me updated on your progress! Best, John
Another pro and detailed lesson, thanks John!
Thank you, Joey! Best, John
27:45 I though that to be solid advice : " practice your serve movements and then learn to place the ball into the movement".How important ! We normally tend do the exact opposite. Thanks so much John.
Hi David, Yes, I hope this helps you develop a good serve. Be sure to watch my lesson "The Last Ball Toss Lesson You will ever need to watch" to guide you on to a consistent ball placement. Best, John

Great content, thank you!
Thanks that’s really useful. I just find that it’s easier for me to jump on my serve with the pinpoint stance.

Thanks Nathan for your find feedback! Best, John
thanks so much for the tutorial, coach. i really find it difficult to get my slice serve back, after 30years quit playing tennis. i just start playing again in past 6 months.
You are very welcome! Be sure to check out my other serve lessons including the Slice Serve. Keep up the great practice and keep me updated on your progress. Kindly, John
Really good and useful!!! thanks!
Thanks! Best, John
Great demos and drills for begiinners and others. I think for many players, explicitly emphasizing the tilt and lean at contact would be helpful. You demonstrate is very well but don't say it explicitly. The arm is only a few degrees away from being spread straight out from the shoulder, as in a "T," which is not intuitively clear to many players.
Thanks for the great feedback and contribution to the video. There is always more detail, especially when it comes to the serve. I will be sure to mention these in a future lesson. Thanks, John
Hi John, great video!
Could you clarify body and feet alignment when serving to the deuce court vs ad court please? assuming the two are different, then the 45 deg toss to the baseline wld imply different toss angles to the body depending on which court we are serving to, which I guess is not want we want? thanks for your help! (although my questions might be as clear as mud!)
Appreciate the subtitles.
One mistake I noticed was *foreign instead of forehand
The subtitles are computer generated so will have errors
Thanks for the feedback. I will make sure my video manager reviews and edits, as the computer can sometimes make mistakes. Best, John
