She's one of rare outstanding female Polish composers. All hats off to her, the music is awesome, neoclassical in very personal way.
I find Bacewicz's music pleasant and enjoyable but somewhat dry and lacking warmth. The 'andante' in this Violin Concerto No. 5 has an impressive emotional climax however, and I'm inclined to hear more of her works, they could just "grow on me".
