I think Nico is the type of man women love to have as a husband. He is sooooo open minded which is a sign of good wisdom and maturity for a man.😊
What Nico was saying about men in regards to pregnancy and giving birth is very true. It's all about the women. That's why I think it's ridiculous when couples say "we're pregnant." There's no "we" about it. If the guy is not going through the physical changes that come with pregnancy and then actually pushing that child out from his body, then there is no "we" about it.
I love how devoted Nico is to his girls (Solenne included)!
The use of "We are pregnant" is to make a wife feel that the husband wanted to be included in the experience. That is because usually when a wife is pregnant, using words such as "my wife is pregnant/she is pregnant/etc" detaches from the experience and sacrifices of a woman/wife. Physically, there is really no "We". That is obvious. But the statement conveys empathy and oneness with the wife. Saying "we are pregnant is a lot sensitive, empathetic, and kind than saying "my wife is pregnant/she is pregnant". It is not about owning the sacrifices of the wife or saying that the husband is takin part in it. It is a mind-frame that encourages the husband and a declaration that he is aware of the responsibilities of having a child.
And yet divorce happens weather a we was brought to a sentence or not.
Some men leave their kids behind bcus they dont know the real struggle to carry a child.
That’s called maturity,he understands women and the way he deals with it was so AMAZING.

I wish every husband appreciates all the sacrifices the wife made for the family, bcoz many people saw as a low person when we became a “housewife “. Some don’t have incomes, no sleep, our body changes, others struggle to diet and all and it’s hard, really hard!
