I love that receiving an ssr before reaching pity doesn’t reset progress towards pity
I'm not crazy right? I thought it was a bug and I was scared they would "fix" it
I was shocked by it. Got Samir, into Zero and Meryl at pity as a cherry on top. So now I have damage, shields for myself and shield breaker for enemies. On the topic though - I feel like you can just keep it. And grab the last SSR, that you are missing from the list.

Another thing to keep in mind is no matter what 90% of these characters will fall off late game when the new banners are released. So def is worth just grabbing who you think looks cool or enjoy.

@@DontInterractWithMeBetween9-5. A good damage buffer. If you play GI, she is basically a Bennet or Kazuha. Boosts damage with constellations though so she is a high investment character

I really wish there weren't so many things in the game that require fire. I'm pretty much playing with only 2 weapons since one spot is always designated for the fire bow. I hated this in Genshin too. For a really long time I had Amber in my party as basically a dead slot since I didn't want to level her.

You got party loadouts, so just make one with fire/exploration. Can easily switch between loadouts by pressing C for character menu =)
Same until I got Zero on my last 10 pull for the 80 pity. Goodbye Firebow you can rest now

It's nice that we can create weapon sets, but we still gotta open the menu to switch presets. Annoying for sure. At least I own Huma.
I think that you should safe the selector and first explore the 4 regions collecting all the gold and black nucleus. Then see what SSR you will get from those. Personally I have already 5 SSR from exploration alone and I still have 2 areas left. I will use the selector only to get the last SSR that i'm missing for the collection.
PS: Once you maxed out the SR you will get 1 token for each pick that you can spend next to buy the next star for the SSR you want
To add to that last line, getting extra SR will yield the currency on the banner where you pulled them, if standard banner, you'll get the black gold, if event banner, you'll get the red gold.
I have 2 questions
1.Does the Ssr selector box expire, if I don't open it in time?
2.I have my eyes on unreleased character named Saki Fuwa. Is it possible that she would be added to ssr box if I save it for that long?

@@virtuoustreaty2656 The SSR Selector only gives the starting non limitied banners. It didn't expire you can hold on it for as long as you want

I got C1 King and a Huma from my initial 80 Pulls. At first, I wasn't really into Huma but she really grew on me after a few combats. Her charge is really good and does decent dmg. Now time to get Meryl for my waifu pick

I pulled 2 samirs, a Meryl, and a zero BEFORE hitting pity on gold nucleus….. then pulled nemesis On my 22nd pull on the limited, then got another meryl from the black nucleus’s idk how my luck has been so good

Let's say that I don't want to use the ssr selector for now. When future characters are added to the standard banner, is it possible to pick one of them from the box or are they not added to the selector choices?

I got 2 Meryls and a Huma from my 80 pulls. So I take it I want Samir, since she seems to be usable for everything and anything lol. I was considering grabbing a healer, since they're usually rarer in gacha games, but I also haven't need one.
I’m at 70th pity rn. Got Samir and Huma as SSR. I really want Meryl for shatter, but the thing is. I already have my Pummeler to C3. Question: is it still worth it to get Meryl or stick to my C3 pummeler?

the problem with this tier list is that 6 star sr wep is actually better than 0 star or even 1 star ssr wep. If you don't swipe a lot to get that 6 star ssr this tier list is pretty much out of reach. Getting 6 star on sr wep is very easy and doable while some ssr wep are just not good if it didn't reach that key constellation

i would like to know the real chances for a f2p to get Nemesis.. i have been grinding since release and barely have 4k crystals, most of them coming from achievements, missions, first time clearing and all that stuff you can not do twice. That is like 20 reds, how are we supposed to grind potentially +100 more? I guess maybe it is intended for you to just hold onto them and save more for the next banner but it's a bummer that we my miss the first limited weapon :(

Assuming this info is semi trustworthy, this is probably one of the best layouts in "tier" format I've seen so far. Wish there was a website for this and similar games where you can input your prefered character and it with autofill prio list like this for your preferred choice. :)

Man, I'm watching this while I'm eating solely because I'm infatuated with TOF lately and just wanna watch some content on it, but you absolutely nailed this. Breaking it down so concisely will help me a lot.
Being a shiro main (I know lmao) I adore this character and playing her has been such a refreshing feeling for an mmo. Honestly, the entire character just feels so envigorating to play. This is the first game I've actually looked forward to playing each night in years.

My luck in this game is scary. I got 3 Zero, then both Samir and King both came home too for the 80 summon.

A bit of suggestion, which characters benefit the most from their star up? Because now I have 3 ssr (4 after I got the selector), I really have to be picky which one I will invest with the dupes.
Zero adv 3 or king adv 1 are beast

Can you also do a recommendation for the best SSR Relic to pick from the Advanced pass reward? I know I shouldn't pick the Colossus arm because you can get that from a hidden quest. So from the remaining ones, which is the most useful?
i believe it's the spacetime rift for crowd control in mob contents like bygone phantasm

I have Shiro, Coco, and Meryl. Which other weapon should I choose for SSR Selector?
The table is nice and easy to understand, but personally I'm thinking about the future and any form of investment into king makes me shiver.
Also Meryl still even in pve with her shield up shatters faster than king, assuming they are both maxed out.
And you know we get the shiro chips for free after we progress a bit more into the launch and that's all you need on Meryl to just roll through shields.
Not to mention cobalt is much more important to gear up when she comes, then king will ever be.
Claudia does more dmg and can fill the role that you might think right now about using king for, so he is absolute in just a few months from now already.
At least Meryl gets Frigg and will stay meta for a long while.

So at 30 Pulls I got Shiro, and at 50 Pulls (with the Black Orbs) I got Shiro again! so I have a decent Shatter char, and I like her playstile a lot. I'm wondering what I should be looking for at the 80 Pity, If I don't get a good Charge Char who should I choose? and If i do get a good Charge Char , who should I choose then? I don't know any of the Units tbh, so I don't know who is "good" per se. And I don't plan on summoning for Nemesis, I want to wait for the Phys resonance I think... but I'm unsure xD So I'm just gonna Skip the Limited Banners for now
If you wanna main physical teams save up for Claudia and Lyra, in general you need a shieldbreaker (King or Meryl) and a DPS, but shieldbreaker has higher priority, since either are still good as DMG dealer early on

I'm rocking 3* Nemesis with Samir and Meryl for PVE cause I enjoy the ability Meryl has but I still need to get used to King.
Why is the chart so bend on shatter units? Any character can still break shields on PvE no? I mean if we get the right matrices i reckon all char can dish out good dps enough to kill without breaking shields

anyways, how do you even use the selection ticket before geting to 80 pity? isnt the ticket locked behind like 700 achievment points? by the time you get it, you have more than enough pulls to get pity first. or is there another ticket youre talking about?
btw, i only got charge weapons from my 30 and 80 guarantees, so i would want/need to get a shatter weapon. i like king and shiro alot, they look fun. but ultimately shiro looks more fun.
now heres the problem (dw, im not going to ask which one i should pick or which one is better):
my problem is the lack of a fire weapon, except for the rather useless bow, which king would provide. and the reason why that is a problem, is bc i could not figure out how to switch weapon setups "on the fly", without opening the menue twice each time you need to trigger something with fire.
So my question is, is there a way to switch weapon sets without opening the menue? i could not find a hotkey for it.
this thing is annoying me so much, that im really inclined to pick king over shiro, even tho i would like shiro more, simply to solve this annoying issue of manually having to swap setups every time. this is such a major inconvenience to me and is annoying me so much, that i might have to pick something i like less, just to solve it :/ assuming there really is no fix to this problem otherwise.
there is no way to swap between weapons sets instantly like with relics, but you can press n to quickly open up the weapons page then switch sets

Hi guys, will it be okay to have Crow, King and Samir mechanic wise or is there some repercusions? I kinda like the sync combo for the two melee (I have them both after 61 yellow pulls) and Samir is the only one i lack now. I like her game-wise because of her Ebony and Ivory shenaningans that she pulls off.
the reason why crow is kinda shit is because you need a lot of investment on his weapon. if you like that team, them who cares who you have.

@@mysteriousastrolabe Event banner and standard banner work differently with their tokens : you CAN'T redeem SSR weapons you didn't get via gacha with the 120 gold tokens, only dupes for those you already acquired (whereas 120 red tokens CAN get you the limited char if you didn't get lucky on the 50/50).

im having an issue here. I pulled Samir as first SSR but i want huma so bad. She has the playstyle that i like and i would like be tank in the future, but i know i should get king in the box to make the op combo and get nemesis if i can
You can use Ene as your shieldbreaker, she's still good early on and pick up Huma if you don't get her

I would say Samir since she is built for dps and meryl can shatter shields easily without dupes.

I did my 80 Gold Nucleus pulls and got Humu , Shiro and Coco. I still have gold Nucleus and still need to get my SSR selector. I am just wondering if I should keep my Gold Nucleus for any future banners or are they only used for the standard banner?
rate up units like Nemesis will be added to the Gold Nucleus. If you have a good team now you can save.
