Leaves are falling Joe. You know when your getting old, when people say look at these vintage tractors, and I think, I used to drive them in my youth.😊😊😊😊😊
I went on Saturday. Fantastic show. I was talking to David, who has the ‘dual’ 135 when he received the well deserved 1st prize. To say he was emotional is an understatement. I saw JD Mick but he looked busy judging. The leaves are falling off the trees, Joe!
Good coverage of the show, it was great to speak to yourself mick and tracy, it was the highlight of the show for me. mick's knowledge and comments really improve the video. even the leaves got a mention.
@JoeFitzgerald-q4i we spoke with David on Sat. I asked Joe if David was around would he talk to him, he arrived with his dad. What a pleasure it was to speak with them. David is so proud of his dad & his tractor
Great video the leaves are falling I was born on a farm in Lincolnshire in the early 1950s and see them being used thank you for the video it brough back memories.
Leaves are falling my favorite tractors are the david brown spent many days cutting and carting silage no power steering and no cab amazing to be still alive thanks for te video joe
We saw Michael and Michelle, we saw JDM and both of them said you were on your way. Gutted that we didn’t see you Joe. Patrick wanted to meet you properly (unlike truckfest where he had just woken up) but unfortunately it wasn’t to be! 🙁 We had a fantastic day, loads to see and a great video from you showing a lot of the highlights.👍🏻
Thanks for the video Joe, was gonna go but my dad didn't want to. A bugger he would have enjoyed it. Some great tractors on show. John deere Mick is a star. He knows his tractors. The Irish father and son were brilliant. A lovely looking little tractor.
Great video again Joe, thanks for showing us around some of those fantastic old machines. It looked like you, JD Mick and Tracy had a fantastic day. GCS Michael had a good time as well.👌 👍.
I got to the end of the video. Great Casterton Vintage tractor weekend event near Stamford had the Fowler steam ploughing traction engines on display. The event is on 21 & 22 September 2025. Well worth a visit. Speak to Tom Lamb the Farmer. Listen to George Saunders re the 9684, he wets his pants talking about it. It’s 600 plus HP. Great content Joe especially as I didn’t make Newark this year. All old tractors are my favourite but best of all has to be the 135 conversion to a twin seater. Sweet. 95%. Well done.
Well was looking out for you at newark show and your video get me on film at the service at 11.00 can't believe it we like Mr B had a 135 on show Lovely that you spoke with that young man with the adapted 135 such a special tractor for them brilliant as always was it a conker tree leaf? J
Hi Joe and all on your video the leave has fallen off the tree great video thank you it’s too hard to pick a tractor from all of them from James in the Isle of Man 🇮🇲
The Marshall 100 / 115 / 125 were very advanced for 1984 when they were launched. The transmission & rear axle are ZF sourced. Similar to Fendt & IH 1255. Coupled with the Leyland 6/98 engine, they can pull a house down. Innovative features include electronic hydraulic control and a hydraulically pushed out pickup hitch. The big rams are the linkage lift rams. Launched Five years ahead of the Case Maxuum 51 series, the concept was spot on.
Was away this weekend, but would have love to have been at Newark Mr B, JD Mick and Tracy, Micheal from GCS along with yourself, what an excellent crowd drawn to the event Thanks for sharing the content Joe Geoff
@joeseels an excellent lazy weekend, just me and my better half, hence I missed Newark, she's extremely supportive of all my interests, but we just needed this weekend to recharge the batteries. Thanks again Joe for your youtube efforts, I'm not a farmer, but they help me in more ways than just education and entertaining Hope Becky is keeping well, she's certainly avoided the camera of late, bless her, not everyone is comfortable infront of camera Oh and well done with your public speaking event, pleased you had Mr B in your corner, but YOU did it, YOU faced your fears and bossed it BUSINESS 👏 Take care Geoff
Some turn out of tractors and all sorts there. The 135 with the green trailer did a road run for charity recently, never let the owner down. Great video Joe & Mick. 👍🏴🇺🇸
@ They were a matched pair as they often were when purchased by contractors originally and the ornamental lake is at Ditchingham Hall. It was so unusual I stopped on several occasions to watch. At a later date some silt removal was done with a JCB on a pontoon. There are two steam traction museums around the Norfolk Suffolk border: Garretts at Leiston and Burrell of Thetford.
An Irish chap, has a TH-cam channel called “Agrimotive farm machinery” he tells the history of tractor manufacturing on his channel. Someone just might see this comment and have an interest. This week’s history is on fiat tractors.
I saw steam ploughing at the Dorset steam fair, very impressive the plough was wide several furroughs, whereas a man and pair of shires would do one, like comparing your Deere to a quad track.
@joeseels they must have been like the moonshot to farmers, in the days when the only alternative was a man and pair, they were the predecessors of JD Mick roving contractors, two engines a plough and a couple of living vans, several rows at a time before any kind of tractors. Put Dorset on your horizons, it's a tractor fest and loads of living history.
LEAF it out Joe, how could anyone not watch such an interesting video as this to the end. I need to extend my Joe Seels & Big Mick baseball cap collection so where do I send my cash for a JD Mick cap? And when is Richard bringing out one?
The leaves have fallen off the trees, lol, great vid this is the second year I have missed this event, my excuse is a chest infection and I was driving ex army trucks in Oxfordshire with my sister yesterday, bang on with your content, sorry to say farmers are cancelled for protest, seems the government doesn't understand the capital outlay to run anything larger than a hobby farm, bet your dad could go over a mil just on the farmhouse and equipment not counting the buildings and land, what do you expect from a gov that puts ideology over practicality, with a chancellor who was probably the tea girl at the BOE and plaugurises her book.

I have seen the ploughing engines with a bucket on them digging out a lake in Norfolk 35 years ago.
Would have been a nice sight to see 😀👍
