When I watch these videos it reminds me of my younger days turning wrenches learning diesel mechanics in the old shop you use before the house was built.

Yep, and I am still using the old shop, even though the house is built and lived in. Hoping to update the shop in the next couple years. Want to build an addition to the shop that will double its size.

Would be valuable to see what you are doing at the top of the tipi pole setup. Loved the mesh critter barrier at the bottom.... inspirational.

Thank you. It was quite a fortunate gift for me. He was a camper from Vermont and the fact that he volunteered his service makes him a hero in my eyes, Just as anyone (like me ) volunteered their service to the USA in the military. ( I was a Marine during desert shield and storm.)

Oh , so great. I didn't know you did this kind of thing. I am into primitive and native history. I am a primitive self Bowyer. Made many bows , from timber in my back 100 acres. Most any timber you cut, I got it. We are blessed with the biggest variety of trees in a given area. I am currently, nurturing chessnut trees for the future. Some : 15 years, 10 years, 5 years, and new stock. Want to have 300 producing , before I die. Thanks.

Joe and tepee team: Wow! That was some impressive teamwork bringing that beautiful piece together. I loved the drone footage especially. I learned things from watching this I never knew. What are your plans for this?

We rent out camping space here on the farm through Airbnb. This when finished will be rentable on there too. But it will be another month before we get to that point.

I have a 26ft teepee from nomadic that I plan on setting up soon! Just made the pad yesterday. How many poles did you use?
I harvested my own poles last fall, I hope I got enough!
