For those that made it here on time for the premiere - THANK YOU! I lost internet connection right as I was typing up a thank you and goodbye message. I appreciate all 187 of you who tuned in. It's always fun to chat in real time about what's going on in life. The ear drops are by Similasan and are available at both Walmart and Walgreens. Here’s a link to Amazon amzn.to/4gKtpth
You and your family are so faithful, I enjoy watching you and your growing family, I’m always checking to see if you have new posts and am thrilled when you do. Because you are such a faithful person, I have a personal request. Could you add me to your prayers? I finished immunotherapy and I find out next week if my cancer is gone. Chemo didn’t work and I don’t want to be disappointed again. I would appreciate it more than you can know. I hope you and your beautiful family have a wonderful new year!
We always reused our boxes, wrapping paper, bows etc. too. I made gift tags from old Christmas cards that we reused each year as well! How fun. I LOVE your new wrapping paper. SO pretty!!! Love those designs... I always enjoy all your videos!! You are such a lovely family. Blessings....
Jennifer, I usually buy a package of large cinnamon muffins for my mom but they are $5.00 for 4. Today I made your pecan sticky muffins from cookbook #1. Mom loves them and doesn’t want the store bought ones any more!! Thank you for sharing your recipes. I hope you all have a wonderful and healthy weekend. I am working on getting rid of things. My goal is to get rid of at least half of what I have now. I don’t have much storage space so I plan to reduce my things drastically.
Hi Jennifer! So enjoyed this visit with you and family. And once again, have to comment on your home's beautiful woodwork. Your closet doors! I am drooling!!!😊😊😊
Love the video. Really like the idea of eliminating 1000 items. I'm a borderline hoarder. My husband says I cross that border ever chance I get. LOL. Sure am glad that Peter is feeling much better. Those ear infections are awful. Looking forward to your next video.
I have never been able to make a 30 minute meal in 30 minutes 😂 I also chuckled watching you measure the salt and pepper for your recipe. It's also something I've never done. I know how much Warren loves when you experiment with new recipes 😉 so your gift was a true gift of love. Packers are in the playoffs with the same record as my Steelers. Green Bay has the ability to beat anyone they play, so best of luck. Maybe we will get a repeat of Super Bowl XLV 🏈 (Different outcome of course) ❤ Healthy New Year to your family 🎉
Aw, sorry that you and the kids have had to deal with not feeling well. I'm sure that on your beautiful property you certainly have Mullein plants...if you could make a habit of teaching the kids to find it and bring it home to dehydrate to use it you'd all benefit from it. I first noticed it in my little suburban yard after a neighbor 'let their property go' and this 'weed' moved in. And that was just before 2020...God was blessing me with this powerful herbal and thankfully the internet let me know how important this blessing was! I'm dealing with the current 'crud' going around but my home-harvested Mullein tea is helping me kick it! Yay for all the great clearance finds you found! LOL, I looked up the holy days for 2025 because I didn't buy a calendar but did have a 'kit' that I'd found at a thrift store last year and ended up making my own calendar, haha. We got the Christmas lights turned off on the 7th but I still have to get all the decorations put away...just have to get over this 'crud'. Getting a loaf of 'sourdough light' ready tonight and am going to try to bake it in a round form, hope it works and will be a good substitute for the 'San Francisco Sourdough' brand of round bread we can get here and it is good for sandwiches and hamburgers. Glad you found nice gift wrap for next Christmas. Today I snuck out for a quick errand, wanted to stay home while sick but still...missed getting out! Sorry to say the tree and lights still need to be packed away...oops. My excuse is not feeling well. Does that work? :)
We decluttered 1/2 of our house when we downsized in 2023...now I need to declutter what we kept...we went from 2,000 sq ft with 2 stories to a one story with 1,450 sq ft...we are in our 70's and it was time to do it while we were still capable of such an undertaking...
I've been doing a major purge of items both inside and outside since my husband passed 4 years ago. He was a bit of a hoarder and I prefer more minimal. It lightens my soul with fewer things, especially if it's something I don't use or need anymore. I bought a hamburger press after watching you use yours. I never knew how much I needed that item in my life until I got it. Lol
Hi Jennifer and sweet family! I’m glad Peter is doing better, an earache really hurts. I always save Christmas boxes and such too, it’s just a waste to throw away good things. The ice house looks so nice. Your meals always make me hungry. I went through my house, basement and outer garage last spring and summer, I got rid of truck loads of stuff. Have a very blessed night everyone! ❤️🙏
I always buy wrapping paper, bows & other Christmas items after the holiday for discounted prices too 👍then pack it away and next year I will have forgotten exactly what I bought but I’ll be happy that I did 😂
Our granddaughter came for a night and I made a new recipe that I thought she would like. Pesto Chicken Padta. She loves pesto and I made some last summer with extra basil. it was goid, but hubby isn't in to that type of meal. I enjoy trying new things.
I got the same chopped pecans for under $2 also. I bought all 7 bags they have because they are so good in my morning oatmeal or to make Mexican Wedding cake cookies!
Jalapenos are sold by weight. so 1 would be 1 pound...at least that's the way it is here where I live. Rarely does the shopper get it right though. I've ordered .50 lbs and gotten 2 jalapenos. It's a crap shoot. I like the way they do bananas...which is by the single. If you need 6 bananas you can request 6 bananas instead of 3 lbs or whatever that might be. Nice grocery haul. I love the idea of having your family go through your recipe book and pick out something to try. I wish I had thought of that years and years ago when my family was tired of eating the same old thing.
I am in for a declutter. I am doing it a little different. I am going room by room and doing a quick stay with a (love it or i dont know yet) donate, trash for the first 3 months. after that i will revisit each room and do it again with the keep stuff until its all mostly love its. I am also doing a panty challenge the first however long it takes to eat down the " we might need it for cold weather or holiday food" only buying what would complete a meal.
Glad Peter is feeling better. I also reuse and stock up holiday items for the coming year. Waste not want not, right? Please say a prayer for our youngest son, he is 39 who had a biopsy this morning.
Hi Jennifer, January is always a good time to take stock of clothing items that need to go to another home. 😀 Poor Peter, wishing you a speedy recovery. A lot of folk have been infected with the winter bug, in my family God bless the Brockmans. See you soon. 🎉❤🎉
I’ll have to do that thousand donations is what I’ll call it. Thanks for the encouragement on that. I have lots of clothes and lots of things I need to get rid of before someday I get married and moved to Manhattan Kansas.
Hey Jennifer, I don’t know if anybody mentioned this in the comments, but you have the right to refuse the substitution once you go to pick up your items at Walmart… If you already know what the substitutions are going to be and you don’t like it, you just tell them when they come to your window that you don’t want that substitution and they will take it out for you and deduct it . You don’t have to keep it.
I stopped carrying a purse a few years ago and have not looked back. I carry my license and debit card in my phone case and receipts and stuff go into my pocket and and I go through them when I get home!
I see the "Gordon Girls Cottage" is coming along beautifully 😂. I said to the girls, no one works EVERY day. Rachel said, "except Warren". I had to agree.❤ I certainly enjoy the hauls & meal ideas. We just made Taco Soup. Next up: Jen's broccoli & cauliflower soup, yum. The pork lettuce wraps are right up our ally. Hope Warren can fix the window. I think I'll join you in your 1000 item challenge. No worries I have plenty to donate. The Disabled Vets are doing a pick up on the 15th so that'll help with procrastination. 😊
So sorry Peter has been ill. I love the drops as well, so glad they worked ❣️ And you know I took advantage of the after Christmas sales. You got some great deals wish had seen the pecan deal. Best time to save money, yay!

I was inspired by your games nights and bought 4 games with my amazon gift card after Christmas.

I chose the option to not allow Walmart to substitute for me 😬 Great video. The new recipes sound fun!
So glad Peter is feeling better , what was the name of the ear drops again I want to try them. God bless all of you may you stay in good health.
Similason is the brand.

I look forward to The recipe with pork and hoisen sauce. I have a box for the Goodwill started. I definitely need to purge some things.

Peter glad you are feeling better. It is no fun being sick.
I did that to one of my windows, now I don't let it hing down like that, I hold them as I clean the outside. Hope Warren could fix it!!

Jennifer what was the name of the ear drops you was talking about
similasan ear drops - here you go. I'm not Jennifer but hope this helps
Yes i need get rid of 1000 items too!
Our deer had a red nose, too!
I actually enjoy the Aldi mayo better. It’s thicker and creamer and I think just tastes better.
Plus it’s way cheaper too
Glad Peter is feeling better. I also reuse and stock up holiday items for the coming year. Waste not want not, right? Please say a prayer for our youngest son, he is 39 who had a biopsy this morning.
Sending prayers 🙏

@@juttakasapis6408 Thank you!
@@kittyrichards9915 Thank you!
My windows do that too. I don’t think it’s broken
I think the window is just "off track"...hopefully Warren can fix it...
I’ve seen those types of colanders at Dollar Tree
Hi Jennifer. Looking forward to seeing your "new magazine" meals. Hugs.
For next year, Office Depot, OfficeMax, any of those will have that calendar
I used to get calendars from the charities I support but times got tough so they no longer send them and they are so expensive now
Pack still in playoffs!!
Jennifer, I'm intrigued. What is jalapeno relish?

You could have made the “Ice House “ into a nice Sauna, that would be so cool Jennifer.🇨🇦👍❤️
Would love to know where you get your drops you mentioned? Have a great day!
Walmart or Walgreens. Here’s a link to Amazon. amzn.to/4gKtpth

Manhattan is a nice town...good luck on your move...
@ yeah it’s gonna be a little bit but I’m trying to do some purging before I move there and yeah I graduated there from there so I’m kind of biased
I buy the calender same as yours from amazon
Where did you get drop at
Walmart and Walgreens both have them.
Peter sounds like me. I’ve been sick for six days so far and my husband is the same way. Staples might sell those type of calendars.
I hope you both feel better soon!! No Staples anywhere near me.
❤❤
What is the name of the ear drops please. I’d like to try them on soon thx
Similason earache relief drops. Use 3 drops, fill opening with small piece of cottonball and then put warm compress over. Helps immensely.
Similsan or Samilasam. Homeopathic
Similasan
Be careful, there’s pneumonia going around. I ended up in the hospital with it for a week over Christmas
I could probably get rid of a thousand items if I counted each pin individually. 😁
👍👍👍
Nice vlog, happy 2025.
👍😊❤
