I think the face he has on him fits him more then the smirk due to him being in the war on cybertron it definitely gives him a more battle hardened look

Alphonso Frett kinda. The tetrajets in the cartoon had more of a sharp pyramid look. That said, it looks like Hasbro/Takara wanted to focus on the cartoon robot model rather than an animation accurate tetrajet, which was the right call IMO.
The robot mode is cool, but I still prefer the classics version, the alt modes in Siege just aren't that great IMO to be the "best transformers toy line". Siege is HEAVILY geared toward robot mode in most cases, the cars are pretty slick though, like sideswipe.
When you get Thundercracker and Skywarp, are you going to review them, or are you just going to buy them and use them in occasional gags because they are the same mold as Starscream?
@@PaulGaither not really. I read that the skywarp mold has a rare colorscheme in the shoulders that no other skywarps had plus the skywarp has battle damage designs on the shoulder with the rare purple scheme and the thundercracker kinda has chest damage too tho.

Another trick I’ve discovered is that the panel connecting Starscream’s head, it has tabs on either side, and the nosecone halves have notches on either side for it to slide in
I noticed during transformation that the flat head panel actually tabs flatly behind the head in robot mode. It helps fill the gap between his head and backpack. 🤘🤘
With that big table maybe sometime just line up all of them across the table to have one big comparison I should clarify, line up siege figures across the table
The grey piece that tabs into his head should stick out on his back so the tall things on his shoulders that were the jet nose can slot into it. It kinda fills in the empty spot behind his head. U can see the groves on the nose pieces that the grey thing slots into
Now all we need is reflector and we'll have all the original main decepticon cast that aren't repaints minus rumble. Fun fact: if you get three of reflector they can combine into a camera with their guns and shields forming a tripod and zoom lens respectively.

Nope, it’s the Siege line, the flying pyramid with wings design (aka the tetrajets) was used in the original g1 cartoon for the seekers cybertronian mode
The symbols on the backgrounds and the instructions are rank symbols like leader, general, lieutenant etc. There is a main symbol and then the rank is the smaller bits on the underside of it.
I'm pretty sure that in More than Meets the Eye: Part 1, one of the Decepticons trying to stop Wheeljack and Bumblebee from getting the conductors to Iacon, is holding their singular null ray(without another one on their arm), rather than having it arm mounted, thus explaining why Hasbro chose to make them able to be handheld with this mold.
Do the seekers have a rank based bot mode or just a "uniform" of sorts? I think its the first one but hey i could be wrong and megs just got lazy with the look of his army
@@terrylyle3365 i don't get what your getting at, but it's not rank based, the colors distinguish the robots from each other so every seeker has a different color scheme, you confused me for a bit, but that's your answer.
shame about the chestpeice, they really didn't need to waist time with a faux cockpit that doesn't even fit with the vehicle mode, if I designed him he would use the whole "retro spaceship" theme in his robot mode rather than hide it away turning it into a shell. sadly classics reigns supreme on my list of playable screamer toys.
I'm well aware that the "fake cockpit" thing was done in the actual g1 but if they bothered to change megatron into a tank then screamer should at least be able to go full tri-fighter
I love this mold and I've never been a fan of Seekers. The tetrajet really works for me and this is overall a fantastic figure. I may very well get the full trio(and Acid Storm if we ever get him) for the very first time! I honestly hate the potp Starscream, it's just awful all around so I'm so glad they have redeemed Starscream with this figure.
I’m not worried about the chest problem as soon as my preorder shows up I will add the pin myself. As Emgo showed the holes are there just need to be drilled all the way and pined
if you use a pin vise with a small enough bit you could theoretically make your own pin with a paperclip and a little glue. I might try that when I get mine.
This one looks good. I can't wait for Springer to come out. The Voyager class from 5 to 6 years ago was excellent, and I'm hoping that this new G1 styled figure will be impressive.
The nose piece that splits for the intakes by his head has slots for the tabs on the panel on the back of his to fit into as a filler panel instead of tucking into his back
I've noticed a few "should have had a pin" hinges on these figures(Ironhide's leg panels are another example) but overall I'm really enjoying this line
