I wonder where they'll build the Dominica's New International Airport in which District but I can't wait too see it up & Running just Like they Did with The Argyle International Airport in SVG.
Fairweather destinations don't need as many gates as cold destinations. you walk off the plane down the stairs to the ground and then to customs like in Mexico.
@@NigeeMusic let us be real. With a GDP of half a billion dollars, how are we going to pay the interest and principal on a $200 million US to build and un keep the air port. In addition, the population of approximately 80K is too small a tax base to pay for the airport. What exports do we have to contribute to the payments. Remember, most money is made by sell passports. @@desmondburnett9286 If Dominica wants to see development in the long run i say invest heavily in having proper apprenticeship programs and boost the skilled trade sector.
The development of a 'real' airport of a size that can accommodate international flights from beyond the Caribbean region is something that the Dominican diaspora have been hearing about for decades. May it finally come to pass.
@@clarahilairetessier5431 You think taking a huge step like building an International Dominica will benefit the country? @Haku Yuki Dominica does have high crime rate, especially when it comes to corruption among government officials and businesses. Keep dominica small like st barths. Don’t build a 3rd airport in the middle of a community. What the heck. Deforesting and creating erosion for flooding

Lovely!! And look at all that sheltered wall space in the tunnel for beautiful timeless murals!! Our artists will be ready! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Wow very very good idea. I like it ! Showing the wonders of Dominica. Let them not leave it empty !
Things happen in times, great things will come DA way just going to take some time
Dominicans can think big but rarely ever put in the effort to make it happen
The render looks great. I do wonder what is the runway length 🤔
9,500 ft
And what will the current airport be used for? It’s ten mins away.

@@77jelani41 argyle has a completely fine airport lol
One amazing hospital there is all they need !
Nice and big project
Great graphics. Why are there only 3 gates in the entire airport? Won't regional airlines want to use the airport as well?

They may still use the Douglas Charles airport for regional flights, who knows.

It's so nice to dream.

Looks like a beautiful new airport with a long runway. Maybe JetBlue or AA maybe interested in service there.
AA and JetBlue already have aircrafts that can come to Dominica, unfortunately Dominica isn’t a profitable route to them. Well, just not yet
