Great job on this video. The tach in my 92 was doing the exact same thing and this 30in repair fixed it, works like new. Much appreciated, keep making great content!!
Holy crap..... I pondered replacing this malfunctioning tachometer with a new one 4 years this little fix repaired it and it's working like new thank you sir you save me a hundred bucks
I see your still making videos,so I hope you notice this.I have a tach much like this one that I got off ebay (early 90s 5.0 mustang) that I'm retrofitting to a gauge cluster in a ranger that's getting a 5.0.I would be really grateful if you could tell me about those 3 posts sticking out the back...more specifically which one is pos/neg/signal.
@@Pyro17059 Thank you for replying.I did actually determine 2 of them after I put my glasses on and saw that 'g' for ground and 's' for signal were printed on the board (telling on myself).Still have to figure out what 'B+' ...but I'm thinking battery positive/key on?
no_ricers allowed thats essentially what soldering is yes. Ifyour not familiar with soldering, id suggest watching videos on that subject before trying to tackle a circuit board
