Analyzing the sound and production of this recording, i.e. strong electronic-sounding drums, guitars often smoothed out and slightly stronger in solos. I would say it has a solid overdrive, there are quite a lot of synthesizers and backing vocals, like a boy band, but in a positive sense of the word :). I think it's definitely pop rock with elements of hard rock and maybe at most heavy rock. The song, like the entire album "Pyromania", generally has little to do with heavy metal, as some people claim. There is a very strong emphasis on such super-production and, like their next album titled "Hysteria", they constitute a truly unique sound and the essence of the band's style. However, the first two Def Leppard albums were definitely more hard rock but not heavy metal. Real metal from those times was, for example, Judas Priest or Iron Maiden but definitely not Def Leppard

Definitely Leopard guitarists play on clear.
