Queen released an album in 1975, the year I was born. It took me, 45 years and a stupid thing called Covid, to discover what Queen really was. I sat in my living room for 3 days listening to all of Queen and reading everything I could about them. I fell in love with a band I only knew in the peripheral of my life. (I guess I can thank stupid Covid for that, nothing else!). I love you Queen. Thank you for being apart of this thing we call love….and life and surviving a stupid world wide thing called, Covid.

I knew then I had heard legends at their beginning. They just got better as time passed with the deeply moving lyrics and music of, 'Made in Heaven' being a fitting finale to Freddy's reign as the greatest rock vocalist heading the most all round talented rock band ever. Saw them live twice, Earls Court 1977 and Lewisham Odeon 1979. Welcome to the club!

I came to know and fall in love with Freddy and Queen much later in life. My granddaughter and daughter introduced me to his music. The more I listened and watched the more I just fell in love with the whole band and especially Freddy. I am now 78 and will still spend certain days just immersed in the music. I prefer to watch them singing live . Watching them perform is the best.
Me 78 too. Found them last year on web. Could not believe I missed them, him, all those years. Born in same year, '46, as Freddie. And missed. Now in love, great back then.❤😂❤

I've been a huge fan since 1976!!! First song I heard was The prophet's song... What can I say..? It just blew my mind! I have been at two concerts in the 80's,; at Rasunda stadium and at the Isstadion in Stockholm in Sweden. No words can describe... I cried like a baby when I heard the news on Freddie's death... But his wonderful spirit lives on on TH-cam!

today I'm fighting cancer and found Freddie Mercury and now whenever I'm feeling bad like right now I'm watching this concert and I look at him and think of what he went through and if he knew anything at that point how he push so hard anyway and in the young days I wish I were old enough then to have known about them but they are the greatest Freddie Mercury will live forever he will live forever and queen they're one of the greatest bands I mean the greatest bands ever they had such a bond but it makes me so happy it clears my mind of anxiety of terminal illness. I absolutely love Freddie

To Karen Tyler- I just had to say, what a beautiful attitude, and outlook that you have-I wanted to tell you that I actually saw Queen in concert in 1978-at the forum in LA, and I tend to agree with you-they were absolutely great, iconic even-Freddie Mercury's ability to just totally capture his audience was just amazing! So I think you should watch all the Queen videos that you desire to help you in your cancer fight. Music is the finest medicine, and can really help keep your outlook positive I wish you the absolute best in your battle.

I was 10 when Bohemian Rhapsody played on the radio and we would wait for it. It was magic. Became a bass and guitar player real grown-up appreciator of this entire band every single one of them.
Each his concert was as premiere!!! And he sang each song as last time!! He gave all himself to public!! His life on the stage was real!! We love you, Freddy!!!

There will NEVER be another Freddie! The Greatest Frontman and Singer that’s ever lived. Queen and Freddie were the absolute perfect musical combination in any genre, bar None.. Loved them my entire lifeI First heard them as a kid in the seventies, and still my favourite of all time.. His death hit me VERY HARD, and I still tear up when I listen to some of his songs. His passion and talent is unrivalled..

I knew Queen when I was a teenager. Since 1978. I love this Band and Fred.
I’m a late comer to Freddie Mania. I was a two time winner when the Rangers won the Stanley cup in 1994. Hearing, “We Are The Champions” led me to Queen and I have never looked back. When they were the rage, I was raising a houseful of children and never had time for anything else…not even the radio. Now the only cd in my car is one I made from all their hits. His decal adorns my back window, I have 4 Freddie collectible dolls given me by another Freddie enthusiast and several documentaries stored on my TV. It’s my one regret that I didn’t always know of them. Now, from early AM until necessity calls, I live and breathe Freddie Mercury. God bless him and Queen.

Jachson really was legend, but Freddie was much better singer, he had best charisma of all singers ever, and for me his songs are better (but that one is personal choice). I know how popular was Michael Jackson, but Freddie Mercury was one of the greatest artists of all time.
When I think of how much the world has changed since the early 1980s and yet Queen music is still remarkable nearly 40 years later, well it was very special and still is.

Every time I watch something new from them I just shake my head and say, nobody can beat that. They are the most incredible band ever. I've always like them, but TH-cam has opened the door to a hole new rock experience. I am 54 so it's not like I didn't grow up with them, but my love has been reborn thanks to the movie and all the great videos.

I'm always amazed at the strength of Freddie Mercury's voice! How could he belt out those song with such power & he never showed any sign of being short winded even when he was moving all around the stage. He had a fabulous voice along with his self taught musical instrument talent. His personal life did not match his public life, & his wild devil may care craziness killed him. I'm glad he gave most of his wealth to Mary, I guess after all he realized that she was his rock of Gibraltar & true friend. She has been a good custodian of what he left her. The whole thing makes me feel sad in a way, but the music lives on forever! Great music!

Been listening to Queen for 21 years as of now... and the older I get the more I realize how REMARKABLE musicians they all are/were. Deacon and Taylor lead the entire band perfectly together... Brian May... one of the best guitar players of all time. Freddie... no words, just sheer love
Brian never gets the reconnection he truly deserves. I rank him in the top three best ever guitar players ever. Unlike other leads that can be used on other songs, his leads can only be used on the songs they were written for. 👍😀.

I unfortunately never got to see any of the live shows, but I know they were amazing to watch on TH-cam! GREW UP LISTENING TO QUEEN AND STILL DO! But, I will not watch them now, John said it best...Without FREDDIE, THEIR is no QUEEN.. I piss off a lot of people, but, then again,most agree. Roger and Brian are still going strong and they are killing it, but without FREDDIE MERCURY.......??
I never saw them live but even from TH-cam videos, one can tell that their live performances were so much better than their studio recordings.

Even now, there is not a week goes by, even a few days, without hearing their music in some form. Radio, TV, advertisements, documentaries, soundtracks, theme tunes, accompanying TV shows, sports events. No other band can boast this. Over 50 years of Queen: they live on.

I grew up in the 70's & 80's listening to Queen. It's amazing that they seem more popular now than they did back then, and they were pretty popular then. It's sad in a way though, because it only reminds me that the best days are long gone and life is cruel and bitter sweet. Nothing lasts, especially the best things that come along. Freddie and Queen were up there with people like Elvis and the Beatles.

Thanks to Rami’s performance in Bohemian Rhapsody , the younger generation was exposed to the Legendary Freddie Mercury. They were all good musicians,but, Freddie sent them into the outer limits. He will never be replaced. His voice is a phenomenal musical instrument. One of a kind.

They were the first band I ever liked, at the age of about 8. I played their greatest hits tapes over and over and over. Now at 36, I can honestly say that Queen have massively influenced not only my music tastes, but also my personality and life. I'll forever love these men. Nohomo. ;) Well, maybe just for Freddie!
