I will not be able to some it up very briefly, however, kindly note that you are definitely given preference if you have IB experience and some IB Trainings will also make it stronger. The process is similar apart from some IB specific questions.

I often see the word "contract " for 1 or 2 years, in most of the teaching job postings in the middle east. What does that exactly mean? After the said contract ends, our job is gone and do we have have to search for new job? or is it just like a probation period? Please reply
That is a renewable contract which depends on if you want to continue or the employer wants to keep you.

If you did well then most likely they renew it based on your interest for renewal.

PGCE would be a better option for UK, however every country has their own qualifications so may need to research.
