I actually like the fact that the game as in the rhythm game is more challenging now, but I hate the fact that we can no longer get those high scores and the fact that we can no longer pull for a specific group.. 😭

Its so frustrating that they just put all the groups together in the card packs when I only want to collect from one group. And now that they just use the highest level cards theres no point in collecting them anymore anyways. 🙃 Its beautiful to look at but honestly, so frustrating. They legit just mashed project sekai and the Superstar games together.
honestly, I prefer the old gameplay. The new overall look of the game is good (the opening screen, the message, and the theme stuff), and it feels fitting for a rhythm game catered towards K-pop fans. But the new gameplay just feels tedious(?), I don't know, just personally. The old one had this more addicting feel to it. That's the one I had the biggest problem with. The idea that you don't have to switch between groups through settings (back to the main screen) to play other groups is nice, but it would be nicer for there to be specific groups' card packs alongside ones that have all the groups' cards.
also, this one is probably a personal opinion, but I miss cheer mode. Lmao. No, because I just recently started playing cheer mode and it's fun! It's cute.

You should use the theme buff. It makes the cards work like they do in the old seasons and it even gives you a score bonus if you have a full set or matching cards

Atleast in previous update you can upgrade you're card till XR but now you have music beats to upgrade any grade card I totally hate this update except dairy and world combinations
I like the new theme and that they brought back the option to sell cards but i prefer the old version, I wish they would’ve just gave us the higher speeds and harder levels and added the girl groups instead of changing the whole game. There are so many extra steps you have to do to get things and I hate that you have to have cubes to upgrade cards now, I have so many cards stuck at R and XR bc I didn’t knew what changes would be made but had I known I would’ve used up my coins and resources (that they completely did away with) to upgrade them

I'm in a love-hate relationship with the update, i like it for the aesthetic, but at the same time i hate how they simplified it 😕 and the cards are not locked.... i lost a lot of cards because they were unlocked by the update and all that 😢 and they made it difficult to get what you want by putting everything together..

i don’t understand why I cant use all my performance cards, do you remember that you could chose all the performance cards and you had that red little check on the edge of the card now most of my cards are not usable especially my xr cards it took me so long to get full xr decks and now I can’t use them for the game play it makes me so sad can someone held me out with that problem ?
You can equip the cards of that song and once you do it remains the same but only for that song it doesn't change for any other song unless you do it so don't use all your cards for upgrading cards
The game is actually very good now if you think about it. Gems and coins is so much easier to get, easier to upgrade cards, and less resources are needed to upgrade UR cards, profile and stage skins are now obtainable for everyone without using paid gems, stickers are also not paid gems anymore, we can also sell useless cards for points and use those points to buy exp cards. The exp cards can be used to upgrade any card from any group! We also get a ton of gems for just collecting cards or concept photos, and we also get gems for playing any song in studio!

yeah for the most part these renewed maps just made the songs way easier. Cat & dog super hard mode used to be one of the hardest songs in the game but now it’s too easy. Pretty much every group’s songs got a renewed beatmap but bts was affect the least. Dope super hard mode is still the same as ever
I feel like hard mode got easier and super hard mode got way harder😭 I used to be able to clear super hard mode no problem and now I’m having so much trouble. I think I may be tweaking tho
You can change the group anytime, though it only changes the songs playing in the background and the first group to show when updating cards or in the collection book. You need to manually change your profile pic and diary to which group you want
So is it not worth leveling cards with their dupes for 4x and upgrading if it’s like a B going into an R? Or should I just use all cars to level who I want? I’ve just been keeping one of each and leveling the 4x into each other lol
From my understanding so far you need to complete the beginner quests as I believe some give collection tickets. Other than that the only other way that I know of is to upgrade your cards to urs and then leveling those up. That’s what the card mission thing is
By completing card missions, like upgrading an XR card to level 50 or making an UR, you can see better in my part 2 video, there I show you step by step how to get collection tickets.
