Zakiyyah Shaw I know. They just gave up. I know that the best they could do in 1991-92 was "Wish Kid" and "Space Cats" but why after the Battletoads pilot did they just throw in the towel. NBC was MOCKED and made fun of by light night TV and editorials for being "quitters".

Leading to the debut of TNBC on September 12, 1992.

As a child who watched Saturday Morning Cartoons in the late 80's and 90's, NBC got two thumbs up!
1992 was a DARK year for Saturday Morning TV when NBC left the Saturday morning business.
