Coronet 32 Oceanfarer Project - Day 3 Engine seized dismantle

The inspection of the Coronet 32 Project goes ahead and confirmed port engine seized. It is a Land Rover 200TDI engine which has not been used for 5 years (or more!). The result is the engine is seized. Although the several attempts to unseize it, by removing the injector and let is soak for days, the engine was still blocked and we decide to inspect it further and lift out from the boat...the dismantle of the engine showed one piston seized and the coupler damaged therefore in need of replacement. The engine was dismantle in place trying to fit in the car and make it lighter for one man job...
