Great Vid Matt, just a quick question, How much is ur mower im thinking of getting one because if the quality of the cut and because it looks easy to use
In the spec I have it in the mow master R22W cost me $4,799... It is an eight blade reel, Honda engine, mowing height is 2.4mm - 19mm. We are giving away a Mow Master R22 in the Grass Off and any entry can win that as it is a random draw.
I get around that by having the sand a bit moist but yes I still kick up a bit. If you are doing a Reno with a reel it'll probably need a sharpen soon after, kinda good if you have a hack cylinder for those jobs..
How often would I have to mow? Currently I get my grass mowed once a month and am looking for something that allows me to go longer than a month between cuts.
You actually can straight after a mow but I'm following the label instructions. I think the reasoning is that there is less of the leaf blade to take up the product showing, there is obviously a bit of stress/repair after a mow as the plant tries to repair and that might not agree with putting PGR straight away, you may get some added discolouration etc.
Your lawn isn’t that big! Your entire lawn looks about half the size of most American backyard lawns! I’d love to have a front and back lawn as small as yours! That’s where PGR‘s come in handy! Less mowing!
This channel is growing on me 👍
Thanks Ben!!
Fantasic video, nicely explained. Looking forward to spring here in Ireland
I have nbeen watching your videos and they are awesome.
@@lawnporn Thanks very much, that's very kind of you

@@lawnporn hey mate does this work for Kikuyu grass?
That hat is sick
Great video Matty boy. when are you starting your lives again, I've got a few questions to ask u. 😁
First Sunday in December.. Just been full on prepping the lawn, the house, the fam and myself for the Grass Off
This channel is fokkin mint
How much water you using in that mix?
You should have waited for your lawn to properly fill in before going to the PGR. Now it may not cover those ugly gaps until next season.
Yeah that is the risk agreed. Is growing in so far so we will see how we go.

Hi Matt, are you picking up any sand while mowing over the bare patches? My reel copped a flogging after my reno - made me sad :-(

Lol what
I’m mowing twice a week. Wish I had your growth regiment.
If I my lawn is new to the program can I use this
You can use PGR if your lawn is in fairly good nick and you want to control growth during growing season
Ive been watching the channel all day today, and in this video your voice is lower? odd
Thanks for the watch. Yeah I’m not sure why. Just trying different mics maybe?
Hi Matt why is it you cant apply PGR straight after you mow?
