Im sorry but you can't complain it's expensive but hardly revise, and yet you can justify to spend hundreds on clothes/bags/shoes! A theory test is to make sure people know the basics and for safety on roads..
100% agree! I’m not as fortunate with money so made sure I passed my Theory first time (which I did) as I knew paying out for a retake would set me back, as it’s £50 a lesson. I plan to do the exact same and pass my practical first time so I will have not wasted £65 🙋🏼
Clinique has great skin care! I have sensitive skin and never have a problem. Once you use the moisturizer and toner for a little while, you will notice your skin being smoother and one color (not splotchy)

Sorry to hear Saff, I just passed my theory (narrowly) last week, it is really difficult! Just depends on the day in which questions you get, don't feel too down you'll get their eventually, I bought the dvsa DVD which really really helped so I recommend that!!
You should have been sent an email when you booked the test through the GOV website, it’ll say time, location and what documents to bring. I passed first time July 25th, worked super hard to revise though! I had the book, the cd rom and made so many notes on signs/markings/crossings etc - it all pays off!
I passed my test the first time! I took it really seriously because most of the stuff you learn is really important. A dangerous situation can happen because of me being ignorant. I am going to drive my family one day so I really wanted to focus on becoming a safe driver😛💕 Study well for this test everyone!
I failed my first theory test as well, don’t worry! I also failed my driving test first time as well, but passed in July with only 4 minors! I recommend properly revising, people say that you can just go in and pass, you literally can’t. You have to put the work in beforehand and then you’ll get the result you need
Literally just do LOADS of mock tests on the apps you can get, the questions in the mocks are basically the same as on the real test! The thing that caught me out first time was hazard perception, I thought I would be okay with it but I wasn’t, it’s more difficult than I thought. To practise for hazard perception, use CGI clips, not real-life x

I passed both theory and practical on third attempt. I wasted £170 due to failing. I did revise for my theory but I found the Hazard Perception part difficult. I failed on the Hazard Perception first time, then failed on the questions second time because when I was revising I focused more on Hazard Perception. When I revised after that, I made sure that I practiced evenly for both parts. I also didn't revise all the time because it's more likely to forget, so I just revised a little bit every few days or so as it helped. With the practical, I looked at what I failed on and focused on those. It helps a lot, however, I had an instructor and my Dad when learning to drive. They communicated with one another so that my Dad could work on the same thing that my instructor was working on with me. As of today, it's a year since I passed my driving test😊
I passed both my theory and driving test first time and I put so much effort in by revising on the apps and driving around in my mums car in between my lessons, I only started learning in march this year and passed my driving test in august. Just goes to show if you put as much effort in as it needs you'll pass sooner
I did my theory, passed first time, I did revise prior but that's only because I'm quite academic so I wouldn't go into a test without revising, I just wouldn't go (that's not a dig, just the way I am, I'd get too anxious). Also like your mams saying literally it's all so irrelevant! I've been driving a year now and haven't though about hardly any of that since like I probs wouldn't even pass now tbf x

I passed my theory test first time I had an app with practice questions and answers so i could do a few questions when i have a little bit of free time you should try that if you're too busy and do like slightly more intense revision when you have more time

i passed my theory first time nearly a year ago. the only reason i actually passed is because i brought the app and did all my studying on the bus going to and from school. so i could still listen to music and do it. and my test is in less than a month so i’m nervous but fingers crossed i pass first time 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
I passed my theory test first time but in Ireland you have to pass the theory test and get your provisional licence before you can start driving and doing lessons. I need to do the practical test. That's why I find it strange you in England you can start doing lessons before your theory test without learning the rules of the road and what the road signs are.

To be fair people are normally good at either one or the other : theory or practical. It took me 3 times to pass my theory but passed my practical first time with flying colours so I wouldn't worry. Just take lots of practice tests and make notes on where you've gone wrong so you know what to focus your time revising on 👍🏻

took my theory test 3 years ago when it was more expensive and you had to take your paper part of your license ---- which I totally didn't know and turned up without so paid £30 ish to turn up and not be allowed to sit it then have to pay again when i did actually pass haha
I failed mine first time, i passed the multiple choice but i didn't score enough on the hazard perception. At least you'll have more on an idea now about what it's like, thats what i though anyway, dont put too much pressure on yourself to pass so qucikly! :)
I passed my theory first time and i used a app from apple that has theory hazard perception highway code etc and it gives you a possible 777 you could get asked within the test its fairly quick to do and if u complete them all then your set to pass this time xx
