I like that you compare the camera, but some of the details you mentioned are straight out reading the specifications from the manual/datasheet that most people read on the manufacturer's website (most people who do reviews reads the manual/datasheet). I would like to see you compare how long the batteries last, playing the same video or playing a game. Compare display, probably max out the brightness. Quality of speakers when maxed etc., things that most people can't see or try but can give a heads up before buying one. Anyway, these are my thoughts/opinion about your video.

honor 8x back design is very similar to lenovo vibe shot (2015 model). it looks good if you've never owned vibe shot before. but redmi note 7 gradient color design looks better to me. plus it has gorilla glass 5 protection

For me, the one major advantage of the Honor 8x is the triple SIM card tray. Very convenient for travelling overseas. A very rare feature to find on a lot of phones nowadays.
For 12990, you can already own a phone with 128gb storage. That's awesome. Big screen and small chin. Decent camera and great at gaming. The battery is still big. 3750mAh is not that far from 4000 mAh. I'll go for 8x. Also, Note 7's 64gb storage is kinda pricey here in PH. 8x for thr win.

Honor 8X for me. Micro USB may be old but it means you can easily borrow anyone's cable if you don't have yours, the dedicated microSD slot could prove very useful, the battery may be smaller but other reviews say battery life is great (maybe it's more optimized?), and the slightly bigger screen just does it for me. I also prefer its classier appearance especially in blue. BTW the 128GB configs of these 2 phones go for about P11,500 these days so they're pretty much pitted against each other.
We have a local reseller that sells for only 12,300 for 4/64GB variants, most of the reseller here are same in their selling price and I don't recommend people to buy from online shops unless the store is really far from you 😊
Although Redmi seems to be the winner here, I am still a bit skeptical about Xiaomi's battery. I had a Xiaomi Redmi 4x before within 4mos of usage, the battery started to bloat. Was not able to return the phone even though it was still under warranty, because Xiaomi pulled out from the Philippines at that time. Take note, I never overcharged. So, for this comparison, I still can't decide which one to purchase.
Honor 8x looks far better & battery backup is outstanding thanks to kirin 710 which is extremely power efficient. A Casual user can easily get up to 2 days of battery backup. I am a heavy user and I still get more than a day battery backup. This phone is good at gaming too. The camera and display is better in redmi note 7. Not sure about the sound quality of the redmi note 7 so I won't comment. The only thing remaining is the software. With constant advertisements in the SYSTEM APPS(like in music player) MIUI sucks. I had redmi note 5 and I am so happy to get rid of it but after updating my honor 8x to android pie, my phone doesn't feel like it was before though it lags very rarely & that to with extreme usage. I can tell that not many people experienced the same lag though. The display & the speaker sound should have been better. Honor 8x does not have gorilla glass at all. Huawei has its own glass and it is strong enough to be compared with gorilla glass. My phone has fallen twice with screen facing down & survived without having a single scratch on the screen.
I have honor 8x experience so far is good.. Honor 8x signal so strong it instantly draw back the network as soon as you out from lift.. Watching movie full HD No network problem at all.. And game yes it can game with full HD screen.. It cheap and got gpu turbo also.. Beside if i want to change new phone could no be a problem since we have lot midrange rite now..

These are great devices for those who haven't bought a new and updated device. I am using a Y9 2019 and I have no regrets in buying it. However, if I have to buy something now kung wala pa akong Y9 2019 maybe I will go for that Redmi Note 7. Actually both phones ang great. But I'm using 8x. For me at this price range not bad at all. Expect what you paid for. Nasa iyo parin yan. But kudos for redmi note 7. Dahil for that mid range is the type c. Looking for Rmn7 search for Xundd phil.
I know that Redmi Note 7 has many positive reviews but I've seen this phone and it really has a poor quality of screen brightness. I am the one who prefers screen with vivid colors and Redmi Note 7 (even with full brightness) failed to achieve it. Others may say that it's cheaper but there are also other mid-range phones which has better displays when it comes to brightness.
More features on Note7 Pro, even the sound quality, camera, video and notification led is waaaay better than 8X. I personally checked both these phones out as I wanted to buy one of em, especially the 8X, but I found RN7Pro to be the better out of the two. No offense.
Watching on my Redmi note 7 and my phone is falling apart. Lock button has fallen off. Frame if the phone is plastic. My wife has Honor 8x and it's like new. It has aluminum frame unlike note 7. Ni buttons fell no dents still going strong.
Actually, if u don't particularly need to have a snapdragon chipset smartphone, honor 8x is a very practical phone to have, I mean I too like the redmi note 7 but as of today, let's be realistic coz it's not very easy to have a redmi note 7 due to the hype and its not yet readily available in the philippines...plus there is a markup from the resellers, so the price u announced there is not yet totally accurate...in the end, it will be more on the preference of the customer which will determine which phone to buy...

xiaomi in general has large developer support because of the unlockable bootloader so if you're into customization, xiaomi phones are the best to go, dont like miui? just put a custom rom

Then the led notification was tiny and dim almost invisible. Camera was ok but not as good, not much detail. Battery is also smaller at 3750 Mah. But I must admit, the overall look of the phone and display is absolutely awesome. It's a shame it lacked some simple features that most customers would prefer to have. So I'm waiting for Redmi Note 7 Pro coz it has the flagship Sony sensor+good sound+a better led notification+better battery+ many features that 8X doesn't. It's up to you, man

@@pioformacion8145I actually went to buy 8X and upon checking the audio on speakers and earphones, I was surprised how low and thin sounding it was. No depth at all. Then the led notification was tiny and dim almost invisible. Camera was ok but not as good, not much detail. Battery is also smaller at 3750 Mah. But I must admit, the overall look of the phone and display is absolutely awesome. It's a shame it lacked some simple features that most customers would prefer to have. So I'm waiting for Redmi Note 7 Pro coz it has the flagship Sony sensor+good sound+a better led notification+better battery+ many features that 8X doesn't. It's up to you, man
