@@missedmusic101 I am pretty sure the ones you have heard so far are freehand octopus and power and the glory.Which One are you going to listen to next?
Thanks for watching. There's bound to always be some music-obsessed teenagers that fall in love with the band, and it's so much easier to do that now. I don't know how I missed this band when I was a teenager - I was really into Yes.
@missedmusic101 well I'm 31 and my parents werent into this kind of music at all, it just evolved over the years into more challenging but rewarding music I guess.
Thanks for this reaction and your thoughts on Gentle Giant! I first heared their music in the seventies, then lost track for years, and rediscovered them aroud the year 2000. They are so unique! Listening to their album 'Free hand' and especially to the title song one finds out that it was a concious decision of them to only make music that they enjoy to play, which meant that there would only be a certain modest community of big fans. They produced hidden treasures indeed! On TH-cam I learned that their songs are being discovered now by a new generation of good music lovers. I see you are one of them! I mean: definetely one of the music lovers! ;) Thanks again.
Thanks for watching and for your insightful comments. This should have been a band I was aware of as a teenager-I was really into Yes, Rush, Genesis, Marillion, IQ, King Crimson, etc. But I guess that happened in the pre-streaming area when word of mouth was king, or you caught a band on something like The Old Gray Whistle Test. I'm glad I know their music now.
Glad to see you listening and discovering more of the greatest most epic legendary unique innovative genius band ever.
I've got through three of their albums now.

The world would be a better place if this video had a million views that's for sure. I feel sorry for young people that don't know gentle giant.
