- A clip from episode 3 of the Armando Iannucci Shows.
After a brief introduction by the east end thug, Armando delivers his comedy routine - through the medium of Microsoft Powerpoint.
The show is available here: www.amazon.co.u... - amongst other places.
I love how he dropped out of his PhD program to go after comedy. I can see the influence from the countless academic presentations he must've given over the years.
This is one of my favourite comedy routines ever. I first saw it when it was first shown many years ago and I've always remembered it. Real genius.
and there, the highly successful logo of the nazi party hahah
Big fan of Armando Iannucci.
I think, as with so much comedy, you have to appreciate the subtleties of the performers / writers before realising how funny a sketch is. Seen in isolation here, I can see why people didn't find it funny. I love Iannucci's comedy and this sketch is HILARIOUS.
Jose.... and hose B 😂😂😂
'moving on now to Germany'
hahaha hose and hose b! love that guy
why a german chinese restaurant and not a german japanese restaurant
LOL!!!!
I wish Iannuci would come back and create a show similar to the iannucci shows or time trumpet. Some of the best comedy ever created.
Try to track down Clinton: His Struggle With Dirt, if you haven't seen it. It was a one off and kind of works as a prelude to Time Trumpet.
It makes me laugh that his name is misspelled as "Almando" on a slideshow that he has made himself!
Armindi
this is possibly my favourite comedy sketch ever
The worlds first traditional comedy routine done with Microsoft Powerpoint, using corporate manner of explantaion - genius.
hahhaa!! my dogs got no nose
It's funny because it's not funny.
That's flat out funny, funny stuff. Great concept, perfectly executed.
Because, famously, Chinese food leaves you hungry half an hour after you've eaten it. Japanese food might do the same, but it's not a well known thing and the joke wouldn't work.
This show was astonishingly good.
The ultimate comedy sketch
Man I really loved the business like comedy routine
Im not worth knowing.
genius
Can someone explain whats funny?
It's anti-Humour, the joke is that he's explaining the joke.
@@BlackEsqShogun This funny also, as you are explaining that he's explaining the joke. Ad infinitum...
