I'm stealing that one Ericka. "If you don't know where you want to be in five years, you're already there." Savage.... 😝

Relocated six years ago from NY to San Antonio suburbs for pre-retirement. Literally one of the best decisions we've ever made. We have San Antonio, Austin, Houston and Dallas/FW all in the same state. They all have different personalities but are all flourishing major cities with incredible suburban communities around them. Talk about opportunities. Excellent show Ericka and Tim! Love the energy and message.

My plan in 3-4 years: Live in Dallas between November thru April and live in my native STL between May thru October.. I will make enough money in tech to make it happen..

Skip Dallas for tech. Austin is the tech hub fortexas. Houston for the best night life under 35 single experience and you can get your money worth. Honestly I know this 7 months old. But if you're serious about moving to North Texas. Fort worth are Arlington is where you want to be. You can buy a property at reasonable price..

House in the Cliff , house and lot in the south. My house was worth 40k just in 2016 now worth 250k in the cliff. Mortgage $370. I'm not going anywhere haha.
Also, selling the lots is serious business. I've sold 50k lots and builders turn around and build 300 - 500k houses. I'm sick, I was hustling and I didn't have a plan.

It's so true that everybody wants to be a millionaire. And I have a friend and he told me that he wants to make a million dollars a Year and I was like, how much are your bills? And he was, like, 3000 per month. And I said, well you can literally make $50000 a year and be free. You won't be a millionaire, but if you can make 50K cash flow without needing a job with money from assets, then you can be free. You won't be able to buy a lambo but you don't need it. You can have control of your time.

It makes sense that DFW will have more than NYC.
Friendly business laws, alot more space to build so you won't be living on top of each other (until they eventually overbuild).
Also interest rates will be back down to 3 or even under 3.
They'll just go into negative amortization and will increase your loan length to 40 and 50 years. Some companies are already doing 40-year loans.
Remember those interest rates were 9, 19, 15 and 20 percent. But they were also from 2 to 7 years to pay off and eventually 15, 20 and 30.
Amd I hate the smoke alarm beeping. That shit sound like poverty to me.

The cheat code is work. Whether you own your business or work a job. Some folks can get free just by working overtime. Sacrificing holidays one year. They won't do it!!

I’ll pass. I don’t like what climate change is doing to the southern and western parts of the country. Sure it’s cheaper to live there, guess why? I’ll stay in the Mid-Atlantic. People who can afford it will move to areas with less severe climate.
