- Before setting sale on a Royal Caribbean cruise, everyone must complete a safety briefing, which includes watching a video with lifejacket instructions, listening to a recording of the emergency alarm, and visiting the muster assembly station when boarding. Just before setting sale, the captain does a final safety briefing, which includes activating the alarm. This is the captain's final safety briefing before we set sale on Royal Caribbean's Symphony of the Seas. This was recorded on May 31 before departing on a seven night cruise out of Cape Liberty, recorded from my stateroom. Please note that the alarm is loud, you may wish to turn down your sound volume. Enjoy.
That was so cool to hear the entire safety briefing and nautical information and to hear from the captain and not from the cruise Director or they are right hand person that was awesome. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it, love capturing these. On my three Royal cruises, the captain has done this final briefing. So cool to have finally experienced an Oasis class ship.
@@gallagher123123 that’s wonderful. I sailed on harmony of the seas a few years ago and totally enjoyed the cruise and the ship. I am visually impaired and at the time was using a mobility scooter. Everything worked out pretty well. That was my first oasis class ship myself. In fact, that was my first Royal Caribbean cruise ship. I’ve sailed with CARNIVAL Norwegian and princess in the past.
