Gabrielle, Thank you for watching my video. I did discuss a couple of changes that can best accommodate different rider size. I am just shy of 5'8", so you can see relation to bike throughout video. I do believe that you can fit this motorcycle in stock format. If you would prefer a more confident lower height, I would recommend changing the seat first, finding one that is both slightly lower and "thinner" at inseam. This will greatly change a confidence level. If you wish to add a more "relaxed" ride position, then a pullback riser can help accommodate this, also tends to add to confidence of rider as efforts are closer to your core, reducing effort needed to manage the bike. I hope this helps....Thanks again for watching! Dax
With much of our Sportster line up, the cc displacement is included in the Name. As the XL883N Iron has 883 cc's! Some things in life don't read that easily.....luckily this one is just as it appears!
We've met others with that wish and have helped build some really unique customs to their liking. Another option is to consider the XL1200C (Custom) which has most factory chrome content in the Sportster family. If you would like to discuss making one your way, give us a call (724)837-9404, we will do our best to help. Thanks for watching video, hope we hear from you soon!
I like the Low Rider too....realize it steps up a bit in cost. I've reworked chrome content on the XL883N within a $1,000 budget that accented it well. If you have interest in that, let us know! The XL883L (SuperLow) is another option to consider as it escapes the current dark custom attention. It does provide more polished components that may be more appealing in the same price range as the Iron.
I like my 2006 carbureted 1200 Low with lots of chrome and loud slip ons better. EFI is the worst thing to ever happen to Harley, and the blacked out thing is just a cost saving measure. The Japanese companies are doing it too. Chrome is not cheap these days. Honda took their cool little Rebel, the best beginner bike ever made, with lots of chrome and attention to detail, and replaced it with what has to be one of the ugliest bikes on the planet. One solid black blob. I can certainly see how that would turn a beginner off to riding motorcycles.
Gerald Scott speak for yourself lol, the new rebel looks much better than the old one. Pretty sure most young beginner riders like me think that way. Trust me, Honda knows what they're doing
The old design lasted 35 years. We'll see how long the new one lasts. I have owned 4 Rebels. One bought new in 1985, during a financial crisis, because it was so cheap, 2 more used ones, a '99 and an '04, and I now own a new 2016. When I saw what they had done to the Rebel, I was totally disgusted. Couple that with the fact that my local dealer was having a firesale on new 2016 Rebels, and I just had to have one. I have put a little over 1000 miles on it in the year I've had it (I have 5 other bikes) but I will never get rid of it. It may be small, but it is beautiful. It looks like what a motorcycle should look like.

Yes Agree, But Super Low is Discontinued in India. and 1200C is not a popular Model than 883, will save some money to buy Low ride in Future.
