You and your Team could add a "Debris Magnet", to collect the Debris floating around the ocean. It could maybe use from 1 to 3 batteries per 2 minutes. However, it would only would only react to certain materials when painted these colors: green - plastic orange - metal red - wood other color - other materials.
"Needed": - Collection net (more "in universe": ocean vacuum pump? can suck up grids below a certain size? maybe only if they touch water?) - Shark Bait (give the shark something to attack other then your raft) - Barrels with stuff (pretty much exactly like in raft, they float between the trash and you get a whole range of items from them) Would be cool to have: - Travelling trader? (he has his own raft, besides all seeds he sells some raft specific farming stuff like maybe those farming plots?) - "Logbook range extender" and "Antennas"? similar to raft you need to build a thing and connect 3 antenna's to be able to find "story islands", keep the logbook functionality you have now for things like mechanic station, crashed ship & any custom beacons, but to find said "story islands" you need to use the range extender thing (either by simply standing near one, or even putting the logbook inside of it by pressing use? and take out again with another press?) The above islands thing could then let you unlock blueprints for the following stuff: - Steering wheel? (a glorified seat that takes less space, press use on it to be able to steer, press again to get control of character again, so really its just a seat without moving or posing the player when they use it) - Better sails? (bit bigger and twice as effective?) that might even be usable as wings?? (should be really weak wings tho only allowing you to make a basic scouting vehicle, no flying rafts) - Steam engines? (similar to the engines in raft, they take wood instead of gas/batteries) - Air generator? (pretty much the thing thats in fants mod, you configure and then power a certain part to create an underwater air pocket, for cool underwater bases) - Some part that lets you control buoyancy of a grid? (submarines!! ^^) - Shark collar? (if you can convince a shark to let you put a collar on it by feeding it or whatever, it will then swap sides, protecting your raft from other sharks) - Glowbug & Woc Pens? (automatically keep the animals inside of them, maybe also auto feed and collect??) - Glowbug engine?!?!?! (base it on the above glowbug pen, but the glowbug is placed on a conveyor belt like floor and it turns cardboard into bearing rotation?)
another idea i have is a vibrator, or a high pitch(so you cant hear it) noise maker, that will scare sharks away. it will have to be VERY EXPENSIVE tho
mod update suggestions, better shark AI, smaller water filter thing, bigger propellors, better fishing, even stronger raft blocks, more story to the game, and more wood from the tree farm. thank you.
you should add a way to use THE UNLIMITED POWER of clam diving, like a block that works like a treadmill. it could generate energy or redirect were the glowbug gose so you can choose were will the glowbug go
The upgraded Waterpurifier should have piping ports so you can automate it. Although there should be an option so the water you collect doesnt fill up all the chests
You know just because you put the shark mount on the side of your raft you should give them the cool mechanic of scaring off sharks when they get close enough to them. Bigger fish eat little fish.

I like how much progress you've made in such a short time. I recently downloaded the mod Raft Mechanic and have yet to get the propellers. I do have a lot of refined metal though
Suggestion for a basic projectyle weapon: Bow and Arrow (where the model consists in the bow being a stick and cord and the arrow being a carrot on an stick?)
Why not make a way to capture sharks and have em defend your raft from other sharks? color coded factions are technically a thing now anyways. Just make an interactive object that spawns sharks to defend you, maybe make it use a shark capsule of sort.

also a teir 2 farm were you can still only put 2 crops but the farm is smaler and quicker. also conectable to a chest

after only one episode you regress into mega raft. I don't blame you. bringing everything with you everywhere is too tempting.

In the original Raft there is a item called a shark bait, you throw it in the ocean, shark munches on it instead of your raft
