@@scarlet2766 Accelerator did chuck containers and railings, it doesn't work like that. Also many people used gun against Touma. It's painful, but doesn't work fully.
The way I look at it, is that when Accelerator feels that he has a reason he has to truly fight Touma, he's probably not going to be in the mental state to win that fight, and if he's in a mental state where he can properly fight and beat Touma, he wouldn't fight Touma from the start because he'd realise that doing so wouldn't benefit him at all.
I think the issue is that Saints have visual perception that matches their speed and can disengage and move around more dexterously with their speed while Accelerator catapults himself but his sense can't keep up, this was a point in his fight vs Elizard in NT22R. Touma can predict Accelerator trajectory where he can't easily change his per-determined path after a certain speed while Saints can use their speed in a more coordinated and agile manner.
I would say this is true as well, except that Esper's do indeed have enhanced acuity and reaction times. Kakine and Rensa were battling at blinding speeds (equivalent to machine gun fire/sewing needle speeds during their wing slap fight. Wanna know how fast those are? th-cam.com/users/shorts-lpJC750S8s) while Mikoto reacted to a Saint and apparently fought a jet. These aren't done by people with weak visual acuity, I'd say it falls behind but Kakine and Accelerator are the cream of the crop, so its highly likely that the movement being performed was faster than sound.
@@moonum4567 Accelerator however is very predictable with his attacks, Kakine Mikoto and other Espers arent as powerful as Accel is so they compensate with their agility and reflexes, Accelerator's power is so broken though that he never needs to evade attacks. Touma remarked that Accelerator never learned to fight properly due to his raw power, which gave Touma the edge in most of their fight. When his powers were limited due to the injuries however he learns to fight a lot smarter, and be less reliant on his powers, though this lessened a bit after his White Wings emerged. Tl;dr, Accel is strong but unskilled.
@@moonum4567 There are some things your leaving out, one Mikoto could ONLY react to a Saint with the aid of her radar, the narration states that Brunhild disappeared from her Kinetic vision, same with Salome, in on side story when a normal anti skill dude gets gear that is coating with anti-radar coating used in Stealth Planes Mikoto has a much harder time reacting to him despite him being a normal dude. In the Kakine vs Rensa fight its explicitly stated they were both going faster than their senses could keep up and just flinging themselves around haphazardly because both could survive doing so. Kakine's wings also have a bit of automatically built into them in terms of reacting to attacks, probably has his own set of Dark Matter particles that act as probes and early warnings. Accelerator explicitly when fighting Elizard was briefly outspeed by Elizard moving faster than his Kinetic Vision could keep up in the narration.
1 thing I notice, you didn't bring out something: touma managed to survive certain death attacks and one of the reason is shown early in the novels and anime. I talk about the cellular-level regeneration that imagine breaker brings to the table: when touma saves index from the alchemist, he loses his right arm and "heaven canceller" even states how surprised he is that touma's arm seemed to reattach itself once they put the stump and the cut arm in contact. It is also shown during the saint-germain possession where touma's body was self destruction due to both esper and magic being in one body, imagine breaker reduced its supernatural suppression focus to repair touma's body. It means in no unclear terms that unless you kill touma in a non-supernatural way AND exhaust imagine breaker's powers, killing touma would be extremely long and painfull for the one doing it, ko-ing him is possible but killing him near impossible (the series sometimes implies that IB litteraly resurrected touma).
I mean, killing him quickly has proven to be possible: just look at Aradia and Othinus who could one shot him instantly. But fair point about his wounds, I often found it weird how Touma would get injured at times and then it would never be mentioned again so I guess that is an explanation for it.
@AeonofHorus if I remember correctly, the earth mage of the papacy (the one who got killed in the 3rd season) might have mentioned that he might have met with touma's predecessor as well as the fact that imagine breaker is alive and could use its powers for the sake of the host if IT is fond enough of the current host. Also, one thing that you can infer from the infos gained in NT arc with Kamijo no Touma about the nature of the "dragons" (like how KnT is literally the feelings touma repressed + his lost memories, or how touma became a dragon when IB recognised KnT as the "true" touma then exchanged them when touma answered to misaki's whistle (the only bond she has left with touma AND reality when she used it)).
@AeonofHorus also, just to point it out, but when touma was one-shoted by olthinus, he "recovered", even for a magic god it is difficult to resurect someone because even magic is bound by natural rules (for example most magics are elementaly bound and healing magic only sped up the natural process. Heck, even the aztec assassin was bound to use skin of someone to disguise as them and reflect light. Even olthinus' boat was explained that it doesn't teleport but in fact rotate the world in an instant and somewhat makes it imaterial, her words to touma when he was worried about IB interfering with her boat's "teleportation")
It has been implied several times over in LN that Accelerator could beat Touma easily, he just never managed to. Also, mind you we're still far from knowing Touma's hidden powers despite the series having covered this far. As the series progress, Touma's capabilities are being revealed, slowly but surely.
Few things 1- Kimi herself said the dragon was weak in her hands. The reason is because she was unconsciously limited the power to what she could handle, which wasn't much compared to touma. After the dragon took over it started growing and if it hadn't been stopped would've had the full power of a black hole(and it's probably stronger in touma's hands). Using misaka to scale against it is a bad idea. 2- The temple is located in the ship, it's not the whole ship. Even in the ship, you need god-level power to destroy the temple. Otherwise aleister(who was powered up by the tower of babylon) would've done so. 3- Choronzon confirmed even in her energy/soul form she had enough power to destroy half the universe, so even lowballed, fisheggs one-shot a being that can destroy half the universe. 4- Aleister said when fisheggs was released it permanently changed the world's circulation. 5- All touma needs to beat accelerator is dragon shell+ IB. Dragon shell gives him saint-level reaction speed(he could always keep up with accel even with just precog), the dragon isn't be affected by a handgun, and his feats against awaiss show he could indeed react to accelerator's invisible energy. There is no evidence he can overpower IB. Soul projection, on top of likely not working on touma, won't work without the sister's help. Touma can just rip Accel's face off in dragon shell.
Honesty Touma with IB and Precognition is the probably the most fairest. And yes I'm being serious because the fact that Touma literally dodge a unavoidable attack in NT9, but your probably wondering how's he gonna do damage simple he can either A. Do what he did before and use a rock, without accelerator knowing, B. Hit him in his vital spots like the neck or ear. Or C. Just yank the collar off his neck since he's able to do so.
Was reading the 'Commom place to World's strongest' light novels the other day and they referenced "a certain misfortunate boy who goes around punching people into living their lives correctly." Always nice when one thing I like gives a nod to another thing I like.
I agree that the current Accel can beat Base Kamijou. He wouldn't even need the powers, just the Smartphone would be more than enough, but it's too early to tell if Accel could perfectly reflect IT/Fisheggs. Accel always struggles every time he encounters something new that his "filters" don't perceive as a threat. The magnitude of something doesn't matter for its power, it's not a physical barrier after all. Even after he "added" magic to his personal reality using Index's song, he could only partially protect himself from Gabriel's "meteor shower" and almost died in the process. Accel couldn't perfectly reflect Coronzon's "abyss magic" at the beginning of NT22 even though he received some of Qlipah's knowledge, only after he crossed the abyss with Qlipah's help and gained the platinum wings did he gain the knowledge to make him immune to Coronzon's magic. But it is practically impossible that he has knowledge of whatever is IT/Fisheggs. Coronzon clearly did not, so it is impossible that Qlipah did. So in my opinion it's 50/50, if he can reflect perfectly (which I highly doubt. That would be a Huuuge assumption), it's over for Kamijou, if not, he takes all the damage to the face and dies or takes partial damage and is seriously injured.
The fisheggs are arguably higher than accelerator since 1: it can destroy the barrier of the ship (which is tmg level) 2: it can affect beings/souls from da'at
One thing that I find very funny about tarou power scaling is that because the way the tarou universe is made with phases it means technically characters like touma can be power scaled to high hyperversal so even though what I'm about to say sounds really messed up it's possible that touma might be able to one shot Goku through his pure strength which sounds really funny to say but the messed up part is it might be true.

Happy Touma Day! 🥳 (Good Video!) It's been a debate for quite a while but I think it's quite obvious that a Base Touma can't do much to Accelerator. While precognition will keep him perceptive he is limited to the ground and Accelerator can do long range attacks that will eventually overwhelm Touma, he is limited to a human body after all, he can't dodge forever. Close range is the only thing Accelerator can't beat him at. In terms of the "Beyond the Right Hand'' I still do firmly believe that it has too many unknown factors for Accelerator to understand and calculate against. Aleister is afraid of whatever is inside him for a reason. However Accelerator might not even attack his arm, so we might never get to know the true anwser to this unless Touma can bring "IT" out willingly. We saw him try in NT13 and something broke but we never got a follow up.
I think the best way to describe this matchup is basically we cannot truly know due to lack of information to work off of, but with what we're given, Accelerator seems favored.
Tbh Aeon I’ve always seen this scenario as going two ways, either Touma or Accelerator wins due to each simply playing their cards right, but I do commend you for trying to silence all the Accelerator and Touma fanboys lol

But for me, at this point, I'd only want to bet on who makes the better move/reaction. As you said, too many unknown factors. And on my part, I would try to think deep through the theory with, like I said, who makes the better move, who takes the situation to his own advantage, in the fastest way possible ; regardless of each other's arsenals and how we scaled these two in terms of power in Top Strongest list. Honestly............There both kinda evenly matched if you think about it. I know some people can argue that accelerator can just aim a gun to his head and change the vectors to shoot Touma, but given the Touma has survived worse and even dodge an "unavoidable" attack (Othinus arrows in nt9) though to be fair he had to go through 10 thousand deaths to avoid it tho. Edit: Also I think there's a miscommunication on there 2nd fight because I don't think accelerator was going mad considering he was able to figure out how touma could dodge his attacks.
Touma would prob be able to survive gunshot wounds depending where it hits him, like when he took shots from Aleister. But in order to dodge it he would need the battle exp. He was already emotionally distressed from his exchange with Worst and was blaming Touma for his problems. I don't think he was stable mentally at all, hence why he still had his black wings which usually appear when he is overflowing with negative emotions.
So you think if Accelerator decides to make a 2 mile radius fissure to swallow up Touma, he could escape it? Let's not forget Accelerator can manipulate wind and earth from long ranges and quite easily snipe out Touma in ways he can't fully escape or negate. While flying nonetheless.

It's like when a boxer would be distressed due to some personal loss or life event where he's not fighting at his best but can still notice patterns in the fight. He was literally having an existential crisis and PTSD a few moments prior from nearly killing Worst.
@@AeonofHorus Then you should count the fact that Touma has lost his confidence from Fiamma's declaration and facing Accelerator wasn't on the menu seconds before. Accelerator pulled out some of their best tactical moves in this fight to date, and author has mentioned explicitly they were holding "nothing back" in this fight. Accelerator mind also works in "one way fashion". They wanted to kill Touma, and see if he survives any obstacle they throw at him. So full focus goes towards that direction. Past events don't matter. If Accelerator is currently going through any epiphany, author WILL mention it as it's important in their character development. However, ENTIRE FIGHT WAS MOSTLY FROM ACCELERATOR PoV and we see them calmly calculating stuff. You see, this was a good foreshadowing of Touma's ad-libbing prowess pointed out in NT 8. Regarding what you are saying, it's fine to be an opinion at best, as you said in the video.
I always approached this particular question to individual circumstances. In their first meeting where Touma was protecting the sisters Accelerator was essentially training his powers to shift from 5 - 6; so he was entirely focused on using ONLY his powers. The idea that anyone could have ANY ability to stop him was simply incomprehensible. he tosses people around like rag dolls and suddenly here's this level 0 who is not only NOT getting tossed around but actually disrupting Accelerator's abilities and confusing him. also AS a level 0 Touma is more physically active than Accelerator and for the first time in probably years someone landed an actual punch on him. He's getting psyched out by what - in his experience - is impossible. So, CAN Accelerator beat Kamijo, Yes. Fairly easily actually. However if the right circumstances present themselves, Kamijo CAN also turn the tables. In that way it's kind of like a Wolverine and Sabertooth fight. BOTH have been shown to decimate the other in seconds flat and have been shown to go toe to toe for hours at a time.

Accelerator figured out how to deal with IB. They even figured out Precognition. Tried strategies against BOTH. Used hundreds of black wings WITH control. So, I guess that's that. 2:10 "IB not a big problem..." It isn't, as author has subtly hinted, or used other characters' mouths. Touma is. 2:47 Again you confuse the NATURAL high speeds of saints due to pure PHYSICALITY OF SON OF GOD. NOTHING TO DO WITH ESPER AND MAGICIAN SPEED. 3:07 "fly too" Even NT 22R states that Accelerator isn't too confident on air superiority. 4:04 "Touma's trump card... " You mean, his thelema? Even Magic Gods agree his trump card isn't his powers. 7:24 Well it's not like Touma NEEDS to have his arm cut for things to happen. But that's another unexplored territory. Finally I see you giving Accelerator the advantage of Aleister equipment. Something they have been GIFTED. So it's fair for Touma to use his entire faction. Something he has EARNED. You see? I personally don't care if Touma loses. He lost the most. He's the "Weakest". Hey Aeon. How are you doing? Sorry I can't stay, but I did want to let you know that I am now 70% into reading while listening to the 5th volume of A Certain Magical Index. It is unreal how much unidentified feelings are going through and inside Misaka in regards to Touma. She wants to narrow the distance between them. Also, I was stunned to hear that just within one chapter, Accelerator thought of Touma like five times. This volume has been such a ride, and there are so many episodes in the anime that were done out of order. It's been fun.
I got nothing better to do so I’m just gonna point out some misconceptions or things that are flat out wrong in this video(even though it’s a year old 😅) 1:05 And that touma was also nerfed in this fight due to him being injured by misakas electricity on the bridge, and that touma was only throwing jabs in the novel instead of straight up hits because he was afraid of accelerator touching him. 1:18 True, but that didn’t affect him during the fight with Touma since he was able to figure out touma’s precognition. Just consuming all of this content until all the light novels I ordered come from Amazon. Accelerator and Touma are both such great characters. Hopefully they fight together more often than they fight eachother going forward.

The novel states that Accelerator's brain felt like he was splitting in two and he was enraged, after having an existential crisis moments prior and blaming Touma for not being there to save Last Order in his place, he was certainly vulnerable and not sound of mind imo. Regardless of he was able to deduce Touma precog, Accel is intelligent enough for that, but on an emotional level he was not prepared. Bruh, you can't compare being given Aleister's phone to having direct allied help. That's like saying he can't use his choker cos HC gave it him, or Harry Potter can't use his wand cos he was given it. Equipment counts in battles, it's like having Stiyl without any rune cards or Kanzaki without her sword lol. And the temple scan refers to the barrier if you look closely and read within the context of what was going on. Also my god, this was the biggest "WELL ACKTUALLY" comment I've ever received.

Wow it’s Thanksgiving and you do this to me. While Accelerator is definitely more calculating and more cautious then Touma. However Precognition has shown better reactions due to his fights with Mathers and Aiwass. Now Accelerator with Aleister phone and technology as chairman will kill Touma since they aren’t supernatural you need to ask your self, would he use them? He doesn’t really use them that much at all. Plus would he really go so far to cheat by using Chairman technology even though he does use a gun. HOWEVER you forget about St Germain Touma, his feats on negating attacks and defeating Aiwass and destroying Anna who both are definitely stronger than Coronzon. Now wether you argue Coronzon is stronger than Aiwass, they both did fight in the Coronzon arc and seem to be evenly match. However the Aiwass that fights Touma the second time, Anna was boosting and helping Aiwass and St Germain Touma literally negated his attacks and beated the both of them. Anna clearly one shots Accelerator regardless if he has his Platinum Wings. Anna is definitely stronger than a Magic God and Accelerator is definitely not Magic God level yet. St Germain Touma slaps Accelerator since he can not only use magic but also his IB and strength are amplified thanks to St Germain. However if Touma awakens his Invisible Thing he slaps Accelerator since Aiwass notes how much powerful it’s gotten, along with the fact he can just use the Dragons that defeat Accelerator regardless if he flys . Also just to confirm Accelerator doesn’t know what’s hidden in Touma’s arm since I doubled checked and he wasn’t their to see Touma’s fisheggs.
What would happen is probably is Accelerator easily destroying Touma's body and then random dragons infinitely regenerating while fish eggs and an invisible hand surround accelerator. Idk what the effects of fish eggs are versus Accelerator.

I always saw as Touma winning against him as freak moments of accidents. It's weird because Touma isn't affected by luck but he always absurdly avoids moments of death when he fights him lol. It was more Touma won because accelerator wasn't prepared. Each time Touma won Accel was feeling a lot of pressure. We later figure out that he really didn't want to continue Killing the sisters and maybe losing was simply his way out. He clearly likes Touma even if he's rough around the edges.

Don't all of the things inside of Touma's right arm have the ability to nullify supernatural phenomena? Maybe this was never explicitly stated, but it was heavily implied because the dragons can eat Level 6 Misaka's black lightning stuff and the Invisible Thing can negate attacks from the Holy Right.
My take on this is if Touma, and Accelerator used everything they had, IB, Dragons, Fisheggs, KnT, Black Wings, White Wings, Platinum Wings. The clash of powers could make earth blow up like a big bang killing them both.

If they fight without the intention to kill, maybe just knock the other out, Accelerator wins. However if Accelerator fights Touma with the intention to kill him, it won't happen. I won't say Accelerator will die/get defeated, but he definitely wouldn't be able to kill Touma. Death would be lucky for him, and IB cancels his luck. That's why even when someone kills him (like Aradia) he won't remain dead. And I don't think we saw everything beyond the right arm. The entities in there also won't let him die. Anyway, my point is: if there's "no risk" for his life, he definitely could lose a battle against Accelerator.
Accelerator can defeat Touma. But Accelerator will not defeat Touma. Touma is important to Accelerator's reasons for being. Touma is Accelerator's "gold standard". Accelerator will not destroy the symbols/ideals of what Accelerator wants to become/achieve.
tbh if acclerator personality was different and basicly ran away with his power and shot stuff at touma changed the wind and such he could beat touma at least without the dragons. Touma can get hurt by acclerator like we saw at the fight and touma is only human speed unlike acclerator so could easliy beat him if he stayed his distance of course acclerator would not do this so touman can still win. However I will note this dosent just apply to acclerator it applies to a few others espers aswell the thing about magic is most time it requires summoning unnatural thing fully at (least for normal magicans) however espers affect thing around them such as metal and to give a good example when touma was fighting mikoto 5.1 when she threw all that ruble at touman gunha saved him from shooting those dragons sooner cause if he touched the ruble all that would of happened is it would take mikoto electricity out of it and it would all fall on him as the electricity is the only thing holding it together. Unironically speaking I think we are going to get something similar to "get your ass out of prison" from Touma. As much as I don't like when everything returns to the status quo after something major has gone down, I'm really sad that Accelerator isn't with his family anymore, and this is a situation that can't be solved by punching stuff, so if Touma wants to do something about it (not sure about this, I'm not very well versed in the light novels lore and canon) he will have to talk to him. I'd love for them to have a nice chat, they are characters with very different perspectives.

Having him being the new board chairman means that he needs something to kind of counteract this new power he now has, which the imprisonment does perfectly, but he's been feeling a bit too static in that role for me. I'm biased though, since he's my favourite.

Hey, I have been reading index OT and I'm enjoying it to bit's. I have been considering watching the anime adaptation just to see the moment's animated, is it worth a watch?
The anime was a mid adaptation, but the background arts, the music and voice acting of the characters is amazing. Definetly worth a watch for a couple of episodes but stick to the novel since its the best way to experience OT, still worth a watch tho :) dont forget railgun in between

Nah WW3 Accelerator was smart and thinking instead of going Hunka Hunka he was thinking out ways to beat Touma and figured out Touma has Precognition. Precognition was the it factor for Touma to win against Accelerator. Bringing AC technology doesn't feel like a fight you know.
Maybe Aeon has the best intentions, but this video will only encourage a toxic part of the fanbase who won't try to go through the material to form their own conclusions. I mean, even a scorpion can beat Touma.
You can still try logically analyse your opponent while in a fight (especially with Accelerator's supercomputer brain) and not be in the right emotional headspace. It's like when a boxer would be distressed due to some personal loss or life event where he's not fighting at his best but can still notice patterns in the fight. He was literally having an existential crisis and PTSD a few moments prior from nearly killing Worst.
I've never seen or heard of someone having an existential crisis think calmly and how to counter someone, we can see if someone is affected by something tragic even when doing something even if it looks like they are ok doesn't matter if you have supercomputer brain or not but the way Accelerator fought no way it felt handicap or something.

Of course he can defeat Touma easily. EVERYONE can defeat Touma easily. Touma main fighting prowess is finding a way to win despite how easy is it for him to be defeated. He's a teenager with some brawling experience, his power only protect his right hand. The whole point of the ln is HOW despite being someone so weak in a world of superpowered beings, he can snatch a win by a hair's breadth. Heavy Object, another LN by the same author, is more or less about the same thing.

Magic Gods have inferred that his real potential is his Thelema, and it has been confirmed, contrary to Aleister's expectations, there's a new Aeon residing in him. At the same time, WHEN you step on the power meter, you get a ridiculous amount of mysterious power, inviting the interest of Aiwass, Aleister and Anna. The entire novel is moving towards the point of getting answers to this. Meanwhile, Accelerator is following the usual line of learning from mistakes and getting the occasional power-up. There's a big rift - and can you see how incomparable this is to Batman and Superman? And do you know? Touma isn't allowed to hold weapons and his Understander said even learning martial arts will make him weak - as he won't reach out to people. Contrast this to the powers he has theorized to be something like a Panacea and a great solution to all ailments of the universe. You have a normal high schooler. You also have One Who Purifies Gods and Slays Demons. This is the duality of Touma. Power scaling is irrelevant, at least currently in the story. He's not Rimuru or Anos. That's my two cents; I respect your viewpoint. Oh yeah, I meant Accelerator is definitely the "human"/"Not unknown" here.

Also many people used gun against Touma. It's painful, but doesn't work fully.
The way I look at it, is that when Accelerator feels that he has a reason he has to truly fight Touma, he's probably not going to be in the mental state to win that fight, and if he's in a mental state where he can properly fight and beat Touma, he wouldn't fight Touma from the start because he'd realise that doing so wouldn't benefit him at all.

I think the issue is that Saints have visual perception that matches their speed and can disengage and move around more dexterously with their speed while Accelerator catapults himself but his sense can't keep up, this was a point in his fight vs Elizard in NT22R. Touma can predict Accelerator trajectory where he can't easily change his per-determined path after a certain speed while Saints can use their speed in a more coordinated and agile manner.

I would say this is true as well, except that Esper's do indeed have enhanced acuity and reaction times. Kakine and Rensa were battling at blinding speeds (equivalent to machine gun fire/sewing needle speeds during their wing slap fight. Wanna know how fast those are? th-cam.com/users/shorts-lpJC750S8s) while Mikoto reacted to a Saint and apparently fought a jet. These aren't done by people with weak visual acuity, I'd say it falls behind but Kakine and Accelerator are the cream of the crop, so its highly likely that the movement being performed was faster than sound.

Accelerator however is very predictable with his attacks, Kakine Mikoto and other Espers arent as powerful as Accel is so they compensate with their agility and reflexes, Accelerator's power is so broken though that he never needs to evade attacks.
Touma remarked that Accelerator never learned to fight properly due to his raw power, which gave Touma the edge in most of their fight.
When his powers were limited due to the injuries however he learns to fight a lot smarter, and be less reliant on his powers, though this lessened a bit after his White Wings emerged.
Tl;dr, Accel is strong but unskilled.
@@moonum4567 There are some things your leaving out, one Mikoto could ONLY react to a Saint with the aid of her radar, the narration states that Brunhild disappeared from her Kinetic vision, same with Salome, in on side story when a normal anti skill dude gets gear that is coating with anti-radar coating used in Stealth Planes Mikoto has a much harder time reacting to him despite him being a normal dude.
In the Kakine vs Rensa fight its explicitly stated they were both going faster than their senses could keep up and just flinging themselves around haphazardly because both could survive doing so. Kakine's wings also have a bit of automatically built into them in terms of reacting to attacks, probably has his own set of Dark Matter particles that act as probes and early warnings.
Accelerator explicitly when fighting Elizard was briefly outspeed by Elizard moving faster than his Kinetic Vision could keep up in the narration.
1 thing I notice, you didn't bring out something: touma managed to survive certain death attacks and one of the reason is shown early in the novels and anime. I talk about the cellular-level regeneration that imagine breaker brings to the table: when touma saves index from the alchemist, he loses his right arm and "heaven canceller" even states how surprised he is that touma's arm seemed to reattach itself once they put the stump and the cut arm in contact. It is also shown during the saint-germain possession where touma's body was self destruction due to both esper and magic being in one body, imagine breaker reduced its supernatural suppression focus to repair touma's body. It means in no unclear terms that unless you kill touma in a non-supernatural way AND exhaust imagine breaker's powers, killing touma would be extremely long and painfull for the one doing it, ko-ing him is possible but killing him near impossible (the series sometimes implies that IB litteraly resurrected touma).
I mean, killing him quickly has proven to be possible: just look at Aradia and Othinus who could one shot him instantly. But fair point about his wounds, I often found it weird how Touma would get injured at times and then it would never be mentioned again so I guess that is an explanation for it.
@AeonofHorus if I remember correctly, the earth mage of the papacy (the one who got killed in the 3rd season) might have mentioned that he might have met with touma's predecessor as well as the fact that imagine breaker is alive and could use its powers for the sake of the host if IT is fond enough of the current host. Also, one thing that you can infer from the infos gained in NT arc with Kamijo no Touma about the nature of the "dragons" (like how KnT is literally the feelings touma repressed + his lost memories, or how touma became a dragon when IB recognised KnT as the "true" touma then exchanged them when touma answered to misaki's whistle (the only bond she has left with touma AND reality when she used it)).
@AeonofHorus also, just to point it out, but when touma was one-shoted by olthinus, he "recovered", even for a magic god it is difficult to resurect someone because even magic is bound by natural rules (for example most magics are elementaly bound and healing magic only sped up the natural process. Heck, even the aztec assassin was bound to use skin of someone to disguise as them and reflect light. Even olthinus' boat was explained that it doesn't teleport but in fact rotate the world in an instant and somewhat makes it imaterial, her words to touma when he was worried about IB interfering with her boat's "teleportation")
Dude Coronzon melted Touma completely and that villain was last Testament
It has been implied several times over in LN that Accelerator could beat Touma easily, he just never managed to. Also, mind you we're still far from knowing Touma's hidden powers despite the series having covered this far. As the series progress, Touma's capabilities are being revealed, slowly but surely.
Few things
1- Kimi herself said the dragon was weak in her hands. The reason is because she was unconsciously limited the power to what she could handle, which wasn't much compared to touma. After the dragon took over it started growing and if it hadn't been stopped would've had the full power of a black hole(and it's probably stronger in touma's hands). Using misaka to scale against it is a bad idea.
2- The temple is located in the ship, it's not the whole ship. Even in the ship, you need god-level power to destroy the temple. Otherwise aleister(who was powered up by the tower of babylon) would've done so.
3- Choronzon confirmed even in her energy/soul form she had enough power to destroy half the universe, so even lowballed, fisheggs one-shot a being that can destroy half the universe.
4- Aleister said when fisheggs was released it permanently changed the world's circulation.
5- All touma needs to beat accelerator is dragon shell+ IB. Dragon shell gives him saint-level reaction speed(he could always keep up with accel even with just precog), the dragon isn't be affected by a handgun, and his feats against awaiss show he could indeed react to accelerator's invisible energy. There is no evidence he can overpower IB. Soul projection, on top of likely not working on touma, won't work without the sister's help. Touma can just rip Accel's face off in dragon shell.
Honesty Touma with IB and Precognition is the probably the most fairest. And yes I'm being serious because the fact that Touma literally dodge a unavoidable attack in NT9, but your probably wondering how's he gonna do damage simple he can either A. Do what he did before and use a rock, without accelerator knowing, B. Hit him in his vital spots like the neck or ear. Or C. Just yank the collar off his neck since he's able to do so.

I agree that the current Accel can beat Base Kamijou. He wouldn't even need the powers, just the Smartphone would be more than enough, but it's too early to tell if Accel could perfectly reflect IT/Fisheggs. Accel always struggles every time he encounters something new that his "filters" don't perceive as a threat. The magnitude of something doesn't matter for its power, it's not a physical barrier after all. Even after he "added" magic to his personal reality using Index's song, he could only partially protect himself from Gabriel's "meteor shower" and almost died in the process. Accel couldn't perfectly reflect Coronzon's "abyss magic" at the beginning of NT22 even though he received some of Qlipah's knowledge, only after he crossed the abyss with Qlipah's help and gained the platinum wings did he gain the knowledge to make him immune to Coronzon's magic. But it is practically impossible that he has knowledge of whatever is IT/Fisheggs. Coronzon clearly did not, so it is impossible that Qlipah did. So in my opinion it's 50/50, if he can reflect perfectly (which I highly doubt. That would be a Huuuge assumption), it's over for Kamijou, if not, he takes all the damage to the face and dies or takes partial damage and is seriously injured.
The fisheggs are arguably higher than accelerator since
1: it can destroy the barrier of the ship (which is tmg level)
2: it can affect beings/souls from da'at

One thing that I find very funny about tarou power scaling is that because the way the tarou universe is made with phases it means technically characters like touma can be power scaled to high hyperversal so even though what I'm about to say sounds really messed up it's possible that touma might be able to one shot Goku through his pure strength which sounds really funny to say but the messed up part is it might be true.
Touma can null Magic God attacks but him vs Goku is a weird one, I'm not sure currently he has the feats to one shot Goku atm

It's been a debate for quite a while but I think it's quite obvious that a Base Touma can't do much to Accelerator. While precognition will keep him perceptive he is limited to the ground and Accelerator can do long range attacks that will eventually overwhelm Touma, he is limited to a human body after all, he can't dodge forever. Close range is the only thing Accelerator can't beat him at.
In terms of the "Beyond the Right Hand'' I still do firmly believe that it has too many unknown factors for Accelerator to understand and calculate against. Aleister is afraid of whatever is inside him for a reason. However Accelerator might not even attack his arm, so we might never get to know the true anwser to this unless Touma can bring "IT" out willingly. We saw him try in NT13 and something broke but we never got a follow up.

I think the best way to describe this matchup is basically we cannot truly know due to lack of information to work off of, but with what we're given, Accelerator seems favored.

But for me, at this point, I'd only want to bet on who makes the better move/reaction. As you said, too many unknown factors. And on my part, I would try to think deep through the theory with, like I said, who makes the better move, who takes the situation to his own advantage, in the fastest way possible ; regardless of each other's arsenals and how we scaled these two in terms of power in Top Strongest list. Honestly............There both kinda evenly matched if you think about it. I know some people can argue that accelerator can just aim a gun to his head and change the vectors to shoot Touma, but given the Touma has survived worse and even dodge an "unavoidable" attack (Othinus arrows in nt9) though to be fair he had to go through 10 thousand deaths to avoid it tho.
Edit: Also I think there's a miscommunication on there 2nd fight because I don't think accelerator was going mad considering he was able to figure out how touma could dodge his attacks.
Touma would prob be able to survive gunshot wounds depending where it hits him, like when he took shots from Aleister. But in order to dodge it he would need the battle exp.
He was already emotionally distressed from his exchange with Worst and was blaming Touma for his problems. I don't think he was stable mentally at all, hence why he still had his black wings which usually appear when he is overflowing with negative emotions.
So you think if Accelerator decides to make a 2 mile radius fissure to swallow up Touma, he could escape it? Let's not forget Accelerator can manipulate wind and earth from long ranges and quite easily snipe out Touma in ways he can't fully escape or negate. While flying nonetheless.

It's like when a boxer would be distressed due to some personal loss or life event where he's not fighting at his best but can still notice patterns in the fight. He was literally having an existential crisis and PTSD a few moments prior from nearly killing Worst.

Accelerator pulled out some of their best tactical moves in this fight to date, and author has mentioned explicitly they were holding "nothing back" in this fight.
Accelerator mind also works in "one way fashion". They wanted to kill Touma, and see if he survives any obstacle they throw at him. So full focus goes towards that direction. Past events don't matter. If Accelerator is currently going through any epiphany, author WILL mention it as it's important in their character development. However, ENTIRE FIGHT WAS MOSTLY FROM ACCELERATOR PoV and we see them calmly calculating stuff.
You see, this was a good foreshadowing of Touma's ad-libbing prowess pointed out in NT 8.
Regarding what you are saying, it's fine to be an opinion at best, as you said in the video.
I always approached this particular question to individual circumstances.
In their first meeting where Touma was protecting the sisters Accelerator was essentially training his powers to shift from 5 - 6; so he was entirely focused on using ONLY his powers. The idea that anyone could have ANY ability to stop him was simply incomprehensible. he tosses people around like rag dolls and suddenly here's this level 0 who is not only NOT getting tossed around but actually disrupting Accelerator's abilities and confusing him. also AS a level 0 Touma is more physically active than Accelerator and for the first time in probably years someone landed an actual punch on him. He's getting psyched out by what - in his experience - is impossible.
So, CAN Accelerator beat Kamijo, Yes. Fairly easily actually. However if the right circumstances present themselves, Kamijo CAN also turn the tables. In that way it's kind of like a Wolverine and Sabertooth fight. BOTH have been shown to decimate the other in seconds flat and have been shown to go toe to toe for hours at a time.
This will be fun. Because I already know what you will say on the video before seeing it.
Note: I don't really want to go towards the power level of Fish Eggs or Platinum Wings. Or even Dragons. Those are for powerscalers to argue.

Hey Aeon. How are you doing? Sorry I can't stay, but I did want to let you know that I am now 70% into reading while listening to the 5th volume of A Certain Magical Index. It is unreal how much unidentified feelings are going through and inside Misaka in regards to Touma. She wants to narrow the distance between them. Also, I was stunned to hear that just within one chapter, Accelerator thought of Touma like five times. This volume has been such a ride, and there are so many episodes in the anime that were done out of order. It's been fun.

Regardless of he was able to deduce Touma precog, Accel is intelligent enough for that, but on an emotional level he was not prepared.
Bruh, you can't compare being given Aleister's phone to having direct allied help. That's like saying he can't use his choker cos HC gave it him, or Harry Potter can't use his wand cos he was given it. Equipment counts in battles, it's like having Stiyl without any rune cards or Kanzaki without her sword lol.

Wow it’s Thanksgiving and you do this to me.
While Accelerator is definitely more calculating and more cautious then Touma. However Precognition has shown better reactions due to his fights with Mathers and Aiwass.
Now Accelerator with Aleister phone and technology as chairman will kill Touma since they aren’t supernatural you need to ask your self, would he use them? He doesn’t really use them that much at all. Plus would he really go so far to cheat by using Chairman technology even though he does use a gun.
HOWEVER you forget about St Germain Touma, his feats on negating attacks and defeating Aiwass and destroying Anna who both are definitely stronger than Coronzon. Now wether you argue Coronzon is stronger than Aiwass, they both did fight in the Coronzon arc and seem to be evenly match. However the Aiwass that fights Touma the second time, Anna was boosting and helping Aiwass and St Germain Touma literally negated his attacks and beated the both of them. Anna clearly one shots Accelerator regardless if he has his Platinum Wings. Anna is definitely stronger than a Magic God and Accelerator is definitely not Magic God level yet. St Germain Touma slaps Accelerator since he can not only use magic but also his IB and strength are amplified thanks to St Germain. However if Touma awakens his Invisible Thing he slaps Accelerator since Aiwass notes how much powerful it’s gotten, along with the fact he can just use the Dragons that defeat Accelerator regardless if he flys .
Also just to confirm Accelerator doesn’t know what’s hidden in Touma’s arm since I doubled checked and he wasn’t their to see Touma’s fisheggs.

I always saw as Touma winning against him as freak moments of accidents. It's weird because Touma isn't affected by luck but he always absurdly avoids moments of death when he fights him lol. It's also feels like they're oddly aware that Touma has to always win when it comes to them. I wouldn't be surprised if "plot armor" would be an actual power in this series lol. ALSO let's face it Touma is his call to action whenever he strays from his hero's journey lol.
There is a theory that Touma's bad luck keeps him alive so he can suffer more.
It was more Touma won because accelerator wasn't prepared. Each time Touma won Accel was feeling a lot of pressure. We later figure out that he really didn't want to continue Killing the sisters and maybe losing was simply his way out. He clearly likes Touma even if he's rough around the edges.

Don't all of the things inside of Touma's right arm have the ability to nullify supernatural phenomena? Maybe this was never explicitly stated, but it was heavily implied because the dragons can eat Level 6 Misaka's black lightning stuff and the Invisible Thing can negate attacks from the Holy Right.
My take on this is if Touma, and Accelerator used everything they had, IB, Dragons, Fisheggs, KnT, Black Wings, White Wings, Platinum Wings. The clash of powers could make earth blow up like a big bang killing them both.

If they fight without the intention to kill, maybe just knock the other out, Accelerator wins.
However if Accelerator fights Touma with the intention to kill him, it won't happen. I won't say Accelerator will die/get defeated, but he definitely wouldn't be able to kill Touma. Death would be lucky for him, and IB cancels his luck. That's why even when someone kills him (like Aradia) he won't remain dead.
And I don't think we saw everything beyond the right arm. The entities in there also won't let him die. Anyway, my point is: if there's "no risk" for his life, he definitely could lose a battle against Accelerator.

Accelerator can defeat Touma. But Accelerator will not defeat Touma. Touma is important to Accelerator's reasons for being. Touma is Accelerator's "gold standard". Accelerator will not destroy the symbols/ideals of what Accelerator wants to become/achieve.
You are the only person who understand the character of accelerator in a sea of "ToUmA WiNs cUz IMagInE bReAkER" or "acCEl WinS If NO pLoT ArMouR"
tbh if acclerator personality was different and basicly ran away with his power and shot stuff at touma changed the wind and such he could beat touma at least without the dragons. Touma can get hurt by acclerator like we saw at the fight and touma is only human speed unlike acclerator so could easliy beat him if he stayed his distance of course acclerator would not do this so touman can still win.
However I will note this dosent just apply to acclerator it applies to a few others espers aswell the thing about magic is most time it requires summoning unnatural thing fully at (least for normal magicans) however espers affect thing around them such as metal and to give a good example when touma was fighting mikoto 5.1 when she threw all that ruble at touman gunha saved him from shooting those dragons sooner cause if he touched the ruble all that would of happened is it would take mikoto electricity out of it and it would all fall on him as the electricity is the only thing holding it together. Applies to some others aswell.

Unironically speaking I think we are going to get something similar to "get your ass out of prison" from Touma. As much as I don't like when everything returns to the status quo after something major has gone down, I'm really sad that Accelerator isn't with his family anymore, and this is a situation that can't be solved by punching stuff, so if Touma wants to do something about it (not sure about this, I'm not very well versed in the light novels lore and canon) he will have to talk to him.
I'd love for them to have a nice chat, they are characters with very different perspectives.

Having him being the new board chairman means that he needs something to kind of counteract this new power he now has, which the imprisonment does perfectly, but he's been feeling a bit too static in that role for me.
I'm biased though, since he's my favourite.

The anime was a mid adaptation, but the background arts, the music and voice acting of the characters is amazing. Definetly worth a watch for a couple of episodes but stick to the novel since its the best way to experience OT, still worth a watch tho :) dont forget railgun in between

Nah WW3 Accelerator was smart and thinking instead of going Hunka Hunka he was thinking out ways to beat Touma and figured out Touma has Precognition.
Precognition was the it factor for Touma to win against Accelerator.

Maybe Aeon has the best intentions, but this video will only encourage a toxic part of the fanbase who won't try to go through the material to form their own conclusions.
I mean, even a scorpion can beat Touma.
You can still try logically analyse your opponent while in a fight (especially with Accelerator's supercomputer brain) and not be in the right emotional headspace. It's like when a boxer would be distressed due to some personal loss or life event where he's not fighting at his best but can still notice patterns in the fight. He was literally having an existential crisis and PTSD a few moments prior from nearly killing Worst.
I've never seen or heard of someone having an existential crisis think calmly and how to counter someone, we can see if someone is affected by something tragic even when doing something even if it looks like they are ok doesn't matter if you have supercomputer brain or not but the way Accelerator fought no way it felt handicap or something.

Of course he can defeat Touma easily. EVERYONE can defeat Touma easily. Touma main fighting prowess is finding a way to win despite how easy is it for him to be defeated. He's a teenager with some brawling experience, his power only protect his right hand. The whole point of the ln is HOW despite being someone so weak in a world of superpowered beings, he can snatch a win by a hair's breadth. Heavy Object, another LN by the same author, is more or less about the same thing.

Bruce wayne and touma is just 'normal' human but fighting and win over opponent capable destroying planet or even universe. It's not surprising if superman or accelerator capable destroying a planet with one punch. But it's truly extraordinary if someone normal like kamijou touma or bruce wayne capable taking down that kind opponent. That's why they got everyone respect. Touma respected by many powerful people and leaders of country. And batman... I don't need to say it. Or more like the list is to long if I've got to write everyone who respect and love the batman.

Magic Gods have inferred that his real potential is his Thelema, and it has been confirmed, contrary to Aleister's expectations, there's a new Aeon residing in him.
At the same time, WHEN you step on the power meter, you get a ridiculous amount of mysterious power, inviting the interest of Aiwass, Aleister and Anna. The entire novel is moving towards the point of getting answers to this.
Meanwhile, Accelerator is following the usual line of learning from mistakes and getting the occasional power-up.
There's a big rift - and can you see how incomparable this is to Batman and Superman?
And do you know? Touma isn't allowed to hold weapons and his Understander said even learning martial arts will make him weak - as he won't reach out to people.
Contrast this to the powers he has theorized to be something like a Panacea and a great solution to all ailments of the universe.
You have a normal high schooler.
You also have One Who Purifies Gods and Slays Demons.
This is the duality of Touma. Power scaling is irrelevant, at least currently in the story. He's not Rimuru or Anos.
