I only got into Power Trip earlier this year. They became one of my favorite morning jams. Since his passing I dove deep into whatever I could find and listened to every song they ever put out. I have listened to Power Trip every single fucking day for the last 2 months. Nightmare Logic is literally a perfect fucking album and I hope the rest of this band continues to make music. Rest in Power....
I'm 52 and I have not heard such a tight live band since Slayer in 86. Thank you youngsters. I would have mentioned Metallica but Lars never had this drummers chops.
If you just mean from a thrash band, I’d say yes, 100 percent the tightest thrash band since Slayer. If Metal in general, you can’t forget Pantera. They were absolute monsters live.
Riley’s of course gone much too young but I’m so grateful we have high quality videos of full shows of this band in their prime, may this legacy live on for generations
chris ulsh may just be one of the most talented and underrated metal musicians ever! look into his other projects, he’s done just about everything you could think of
Had the pleasure of seeing Power Trip for the first time when they opened for Anthrax and Lamb of God in 2016, and again at this show. Simply an amazing band. Rest in peace Riley, you are gone too soon.
This is what all new thrash metal bands should strive for. Power Trip has that old sound dialed in from when we were kids. RIP Riley, gone way too soon kid.
I'm 53 and I just discovered this band last night watching Code Orange on You tube (who are good also) and this popped up. Holy S@#t these guys are awesome! Executioners Tax is my new favorite song Reminds me of great old school thrashing good times in the late 80's.
Rest in Power Riley, I was at this show and was blown away. I got to meet Riley after the show and he was one of the nicest guys ever. Took pictures with us and we talked a bit about the crowd and music. He will be missed for sure
These guys capture the old school thrash style, sound and power like no other. Never got into them until I saw them live. So good. RIP Riley. Gone far too soon. :(

I came across this band like a week ago and been binge listening to all there stuff since then. I absolutely love this group... they are the new generation of metal!
Love these guys. Really sucks Riley passed away. Hope they carry on in his honor. These guys are old school thrash metal. Straight to the point brutal, badass transitions and tempo changes in almost every song, and overall badassery! 🤘🤘

Caught power trip on the High On Fire tour last December. Power trips set was one of the best I’ve ever seen and im usually a doom/stoner dude. Their live energy is unmatched.
A friend suggested that I check out Power Trip when I was at Full Force in Germany last year. Of all the new bands I discovered there, they stood out to me the most. I was just blown away. Was hoping to see them again live. But sadly... it was not to be. RIP Riley. 😢
I remember seeing these guys for the first time back in 2015. They opened for obituary and exodus. I saw em 2 or three other times and they kicked major assssssss every time!!!! I miss them a lot. One of the best modern metal bands for sure!

Imagine being this good. And leaving a legacy as a band that hadn’t even reached its peak.
Rest In Power, Riley. Long live Power Trip.
Power Trip has perfected the art of the live metal show. No one can touch the intensity and energy. TEXAS!
Knocked Loose can my friend

Best thrash band out here, calling it right now they're going to be playing stadiums packed with people
Trema Along with Havok, Warbringer, and Municipal Waste
I hope so
I saw them in 2010 in someone’s garage and they played it like a sold out stadium, they deserve every bit of recognition they have coming to them!
I fucking hope so, I love these guys.
Seen them twice already.
Their next album has a lot to live up to though lol
Yep - bringing old school thrash back! New album coming in 2020.
