- Changing the battery in my dead Makita BL1013 battery.

I replaced the cells with 3500mAh batterys but i think they are rated for less but they still work better then the old ones.
I do have spot welder but i decided to solder them instead as i think most people will have a solder iron.
The battery should be balanced before soldering them.

HI ,thanks . I love these batteries as do Makita , so if your deciding to replace now that they fit in current stuff you get your answer . Solder your normal wire and use this flux for SS if you want , it smells but makes quick work of soldering 18650s. 35ml Stainless Steel Flux Solder, Stainless Steel Liquid Solders, Durable Water Liquid Solders.... Lol.
I did the same battery but after a place new cell’s don’t want to charging and I don’t now why.?

Regular 18650 but ones with high amp draw.
@@sol05033149 What you mean by "high amp draw"? You mean high mAh? Thanks for replay..
@@nemac_SD 18650 made for high current discharge appliance: drills and electronic cigarettes needs this kind of batteries, not regular ones. "VTC4" have 30 Ampere peak current discharge, for istance. If you use a regular 18650 in appliances that draw high current, it can explode.

Very bad videos sound keeps going in and out
