the fact that isagi was the first one to run into the blue lock doors while everyone was reluctant shows how different he is from everyone else and the impact he is able to make, throughout the entire series we literally see him awaken everyone including nagi. The fact that nagi began to actually CARE about soccer and put in an effort just because he wanted to beat isagi just tells so much about the “isagi impact”. Im so excited to see how isagi evolves in future chapters, and i really see him becoming the best.
The main difference between Bachira and Reo is that Bachira is willing to let go of his monster if it meant evolving as a striker (His monster is Isagi) while Reo was simply heartbroken when his precious monster/genius left him for someone else.
I think the difference is Reo sees Nagi more as his own treasure while Bachira simply trusts Isagi very much because Isagi can play the style Bachira wants.
Yes but that is because nagi is his originally ego bachira just went back to his original ego so he could play at 100 percent without needing to latch on to anybody
Isagi’s only problem is that he’s average in terms of everything except spatial awareness, adaptability, and his direct shot, so he ends up relying on his team. He has two options, continue to evolve his “metavision” and direct shot or work on everything else, but he has to come up with some way of being good alone. Regardless, he has the potential to be the best striker in the world.
He's starting to actually. Before in the Neo Egoist League, a character named Yukimiya was the best at keeping/holding the ball and had better skills than Isagi despite both being overall at 82 but in some panels, it looks like Isagi has surpassed or devoured Yuki's skill since Yuki is 84 and Isagi is 88.
I think his next evolution is going to be trapping like what the monk does with fouls, because so far he's been mostly predicting his enemies. Meanwhile with Barou he actually sets him up.
Rather than calling it trust, he calls it egocentrism , he literally did it in the final way, he predicted how everyone will react and found a solution to it . He became way to goated in the end
You will notice in the manga that isagi is basically forcing his teammates to evolve and get stronger. Sae wasn't wrong when he said Isagi was the heart of blue lock because without him then wouldnt have won. He basically the main piece of the puzzle that connects everyone together.
Personally I wouldn't call it the isagi effect i would much rather call it the cycle effect where one character gets motivated and passes it onto other characters the reason being isagi himself gets motivated by a number of people which include bachira, king the no.1 and nishinoya and many more
The most accurate thing about Blue Lock is Isagi... Watch any leagues, laliga, premiere, serie a, bundesliga, whatever... there is no player that can constantly doing it all alone... It's a one time event only, non repeatable, it's pretty much ankara messi moment or ronaldo taking a crazy power shot with deadly accuracy. Not cooperating with other teammates pretty much limiting the whole options you got. I saw some of them living with their own interpretation of ego that clearly cannot help them become number 1. Some of them even treat passing to other teammates as blasphemy while the whole point of football is putting numbers to the point that your opponent's point cannot reach yours. Even though i still see some of that on Isagi, and how munich operates catastrophically, Isagi is the least person among them that doesn't want to cooperate. He put every variable he knew into his equation based on the situation that is provided for him, he befriends with some people while also gaining advantage from his adversary through anti-chemical reaction (devouring each other). The second sane person after him, that i see in munich is hiori, it's important to work as a teammate while at the same time not letting yourself down because of the weakness of your teammates. Isagi forces himself to adapt in order to force his teammates to adapt with his adaptation. It's pretty much like bachira's resolution, he won't pass to Isagi if Isagi doesn't meet the requirements for bachira passing to him. Hiori also won't pass to Isagi if Isagi doesn't reach the best position possible that hiori would like to pass to. That way, they don't be a burden to each other. As long as they reach their top performance, everything will be worked out

Interesting. They could've lost to Team Y tho with Niko being someone with high spatial awareness like Isagi. That lost could also lead to Kuon betraying them. Plus Chigiri not being awakened could have lost them against Team W.

yeah i feel that next chapter is gonna be a breaking point for him. im kind of hoping he evolves in a way that changes his playstyle slightly

That’s the hurdle he needs to overcome in the series. If he didn’t have it he would already be the best
It would be mad cool if after the meta vision there would be a vision that isagi unlocks wich alows him "trust" his enemies and know what will happen
thats the egocentric thing he talked about read the latest feww chapters
