Piano on PCM, hah. It's probably a good thing that homebrew sound drivers seem to be converting towards 2x PCM channels (so sampled sound effects become less of a problem as they won't interrupt the music)
I love FM synthesis, yet I can't help but think that listening to a Sega Genesis was painful very quickly. I don't know why ? 4 operators seems pretty decent. Anyway, this track is so nice to hear, apart from being a great cover. I've just listened to it 5 times in a row, and I don't get tired like I did on Genesis games. If someone feels the same, could you explain what you think is different from Genesis games in this track?
That DAC piano is amazing man! And the square wave lead is also amazing
KORG M1 ?
Putting the piano in the DAC was quite the unusual and interesting choice. I think I'd change the DAC into percussion as it fully dropped in.
Nice! The FM Synth Bass is very similar to some Sonic CD bass, and I love it!
Its used in Ball Jacks
incredibly impressive cover! this and your Underwater Rampart cover are just amazing...
Holy shit, this is incredible!!!!
So smooth and clean. Probably my new top favorite sega genesis remix of a good game
After a month he returns. Amazing as always.
que OST de la gran flauta!
Giving me serious nostalgia, this is a banger!
saw this in the genesis demo songs folder for deflemask, amazing work
Hey thanks for checking it out
those piano chords make me happy
Bro, you get so creative with the DAC channel.
It's a beatiful cover ❤
Lovin' that squarewave lead!
Never seen someone sample chords on the Genesis, though it was common on the Amiga. Great idea!

plus, the original song used piano on DAC[the Toaplan v2 board had the OKI sampler chip]
great music
Losing it at the DAC Piano :0 insanely good!
Beautiful as always! Loving the visuals as well!
noice DAC piano stream brother
Reminds me of MM7, probably the square wave lead. Amazing conversion overall
YM2612+SN7+YM2203 Should be awesome cover
Such a great cover....I do wish the synth-chord thingy was a little more pronounced but that's just me, great stuff regardless.
yesss!!!!! This song was on Oscii Boy channel and I didn't remember the name, Thanks! and excellent cover!!!!!!
I hat happened to osciiboyi can’t find his channel
@@ObviousYM he has deleted it :(
@@Albergarri788 any reason why? he never said that he would delete his channel.
@@ObviousYM Supposedly he lost interest in the whole thing, but that doesn't justify deleting ones' entire channel imo
@@cfothough because old music is boring that's why

the piano on dac reminds me of the toy story title theme
2 channels, one louder, one mid volume and delayed a few beats to get that reverb/delay effect?

If you don't mind me asking, if you're still around, where did you get the piano sample? I've been trying to make my own forever to no avail
I sampled it from the original song
@@ObviousYM oh. Yeah, I would guess that works. I am now going to go cry in a corner because I forgot about the existence of muting channels.
How does the emulator sound like yamaha2612 instruments does it fake chords to sound like the yamaha2612? Would it sound different on real hardware?
Sorry, the comment isn’t clear
@@ObviousYM your not using real hardware your using a computer app the make the music right your using deflemask
I use deflemask, and then use the in app vgm exportor
@@ObviousYM deflemask mask is hard to use on Mobile computer is better
