Nearly 10 years later & singing Counting Down The Days to everyone at home is still one of my top moments as a raver.
Just thought you might like to hear this story about my journey in the hardest time of my life. My younger brother is nearing the very end of his life at the age of 25. He has fought stomach cancer for over a year and been the best man I have ever known. The loss I feel is so great that I decided to roll to help cope with this event. I lied in bed and listened to A&B for hours thinking about him. It helped me cope and realize the loss is a blessing because I only feel that great of a loss due to his immense impact on my life. When I was at the deepest part of the hole A&B helped me climb back up and to face the challenge with a stronger heart and a more positive outlook on where my brother is headed.
A&B's music has been there for me and plenty others through hard times, part of the reason why they are adored so much, stay strong!

Yes. 2015 was the last best year with both music and crowd atmosphere. Not the same for others after.

I went 2014 and that year was amazing. Only time I was able to do LV but it was pretty spectacular.

Its july 2024 and this is still my go to a&b set!!
This set of music is the most beautiful thing I have ever heard. I've listened to the whole set at least a dozen times now. I'm suffering from depressive symptoms due to a vitamin D deficiency, and this set of music from Above & Beyond has been so uplifting and motivating. It's helped me get through college classes and helped me to start enjoying my own personal hobbies again. I'm still not tired of it and I don't think I will get tired of this set any time soon.

I will always love Above and Beyond. In my college years you came out with Sun and Moon, you visited my little town, and that's the concert where me and her got close enough to finally want to dance together. Some of my most beloved memories were with her and we saw you guys play as many times as we could afford. I will always have a little tear rolling behind my eyes when I remember that happiness. I was actually happy. This music is forever a part of my inner child.
This has to be the best Above & beyond set of any EDC!! So lucky to have been there!

I found this set in 2016 at a very dark point in my life. These songs gave me hope. 8 years later I'm not doing any better and I find myself back here. Nothing's changed, the memories this music brings back from that time just adds to the pain and hopelesness. The hope this gave just feels like lies now.
I was there, present and thankful, and yet to this day this set never gets old.

Back here in 2017. Love A&B! They are the best! They don't ever ever pick up the microphone, they let us feel the vibes, they give us an entire set without the "1 2 3 Go! ; Hands up, Hands up!" I don't even think they say anything at the end just type what we need to see on the screen, Thank you for all the small moments in the biggest of ways Jono , Tony and Pavo! What an epic set!! I wish the energy and the freedom we feel at these huge festivals could spread around the world in one full blown instance. I think wars, bigotry, corruption, greed, oppression and abuse against women and kids would vanish overnight.
+echeaz it would, thats the goal to leave EDC and bring it out into the real world... so hard because of just toxic propaganda and distractions, its really hard and only getting worse, but I truly believe even if the people at EDC banded together outside of that speedway and demanded change the right way, we could really change this world. I'm trying, even at EDC its hard to get everyone to chant thank you for Pasquale, I know he already knows, but I feel like if I could just get everyone at kinetic field to bring him out, so we could give him a standing ovation, it would mean so much to him.... I'm gonna try this year again. It would be so moving, so touching for everyone to do that... It will happen. LOVE!
+Anthony King I think that it would be a brilliant idea. Most EDM fans and EDC attendees don't know who he his and the bull$#!+ he and his crew went through to make our fairytale experiences a reality. This is why I would love it if DJs and producers grouped together to buy their own venues to avoid the nonsense of dealing with public officials. Deadmau5 is on the right track by wanting to host events in his massive backyard but his town said it would displace newts (amphibian) and bugs and shut his idea down. We as a group have so much power that if we chose to unite, things can happen quickly if each DJ saw their fans as their foot soldiers of peace.
+echeaz I can't imagine what he went through to do this.... Dude had a dream and went with it, first year I went to edc I lost my shit completely..... Couldn't comprehend it. Still can't. Sure, a lot of these kids just go there to party, I go there to party too, but I found out that not everyone thinks the way I do about this whole industry... The money that went into this. I always wanted to ask him if the government has anything to do with this... Too many questions. I'm really happy that I know there's more people out there like me.... Thank you.

Main stage always has the best speakers. :) I do remember how at Main Stage at Ultra Miami a few years ago, deadmau5' set literally was shaking the LCD screens around on the light show crew's table. And my fluid in my eyeballs was jiggling, literally, that's how powerful the bass was!
