Above & Beyond is the group who thaught me how to love trance music. Usually remixes get you bored at some point and u feel the repetitiveness of the sound. This never happens with A&B. I listen to AGBT100 everyday, and every time is a new sensation! Thanks you A&B

of all the above and beyond live sets, this one holds my heart, there is a scene I think during Sun and Lydian where two girls are highlighted by the camera, the pure joy on their faces as they sing along to the track, is something to behold, pure hedonism completely lost in the music. Just beautiful

Go check out their tour dates. Above & Beyond tour all the time. Events like this in Madison Square garden don't come often of course but if you want to experience them live not all is lost. They even visited Norway once which is super rare. I didn't get to see them though :(

This set is peak A&B. We are all we need is my favorite album, and I can only wish to build a time machine to be there in person! Revisit this set at least twice a year. What a vibe!
So happy I had the privilege of seeing them twice for their We are All We Need tour. In LA in February and in SF in March. None of those shows were "better" than the other in any way. They ALWAYS play an amazing show and they never disappoint. The feels from seeing them live are out of this world. I love Above & Beyond.

I'm about to turn 40.....I have a 2 yr old daughter that I love, I've had a few business set backs, life has been really challenging the last few years, and my relationship has challenges too. I miss the days of travelling, being care free and going to events like this and getting absolutely blazed. Enjoy the party while you can folks.........normal life can be a bit of a let down and you really have to work hard at it, people can be totally fucked. You will always look back at your party life with great happiness. Sometimes I think it sets us up for disappointment later in life because we'll never have the drugs and good times again.
Never giving up mate, just saying the party life is much better than getting down to real business. It can be a bit hard at times and you really need to work at it. The odd blowout here and there certainly helps keep things in perspective.
Bob Smith the experiences I've had at party's has really showed how cool the world could be if everyone put aside their differences and truly cared about other people. I'm 41 and wouldn't trade those experiences for anything, what mind expanding times!!
Totally agree Martin. Humans will always have differences, it how we treat each other while we have those differences that defines us. Sadly I think the only way humans will stop being fuckwits to each other is when our lives are being threatened collectively....OR....we make smoking weed mandatory. I prefer the weed solution personally :-)
Hey at least you HAD those times. I'm in my mid thirties, unemployed, barely have enough to eat, i'm sick and can't afford treatment and i've never really lived in all those years i'm on this planet. I see your point, but i'd also remind you that you've been there. You have those experiences. You have a job. You have food. You have a relationship. I know it's always easy to look at the things you wish you had and be sad that they aren't there. It's much harder to look at what you got and be as happy with what you already have. But maybe you can try and add a bit of joy to your life like that. I wish you all the best. May you find more happiness in life.. wherever it may come from :)

Crazy Pug indeed, but i have to say that that's the case in most of the EDM events...ive been on ultra europe twice and i can tell from expirience that there was nothing but people dancing, hugging, and having fun, no matter the race, faith and culture...it's like you are friends with 100 000 people, and that's the main reason why im crazy for electronic music and events ... altough, A&B does have that special feeling of unity and love.
Definitely one of A&B's best sets to date - Especially when you think that most of these tracks were debuted for the first time. Can't wait for ABGT200 in Dam - Lets hope they can top this!

I'm about to turn 40.....I have a 2 yr old daughter that I love, I've had a few business set backs, life has been really challenging the last few years, and my relationship has challenges too. I miss the days of travelling, being care free and going to events like this and getting absolutely blazed. Enjoy the party while you can folks.........normal life can be a bit of a let down and you really have to work hard at it, people can be totally fucked. You will always look back at your party life with great happiness. Sometimes I think it sets us up for disappointment later in life because we'll never have the drugs and good times again.
Never giving up mate, just saying the party life is much better than getting down to real business. It can be a bit hard at times and you really need to work at it. The odd blowout here and there certainly helps keep things in perspective.
Bob Smith the experiences I've had at party's has really showed how cool the world could be if everyone put aside their differences and truly cared about other people. I'm 41 and wouldn't trade those experiences for anything, what mind expanding times!!
Totally agree Martin. Humans will always have differences, it how we treat each other while we have those differences that defines us. Sadly I think the only way humans will stop being fuckwits to each other is when our lives are being threatened collectively....OR....we make smoking weed mandatory. I prefer the weed solution personally :-)
Hey at least you HAD those times. I'm in my mid thirties, unemployed, barely have enough to eat, i'm sick and can't afford treatment and i've never really lived in all those years i'm on this planet. I see your point, but i'd also remind you that you've been there. You have those experiences. You have a job. You have food. You have a relationship. I know it's always easy to look at the things you wish you had and be sad that they aren't there. It's much harder to look at what you got and be as happy with what you already have. But maybe you can try and add a bit of joy to your life like that. I wish you all the best. May you find more happiness in life.. wherever it may come from :)
@EarlGrey, hey I'm not complaining! My life is good and about to get much better. My point being that drugs and disco takes you away to another universe which is nothing like the real world. The real world can be hard to adjust to after you've spent your 20's partying. That all I was trying to say. Good luck!

Crazy Pug indeed, but i have to say that that's the case in most of the EDM events...ive been on ultra europe twice and i can tell from expirience that there was nothing but people dancing, hugging, and having fun, no matter the race, faith and culture...it's like you are friends with 100 000 people, and that's the main reason why im crazy for electronic music and events ... altough, A&B does have that special feeling of unity and love.
